Whispering Pines is a pet friendly cabin (fur babies are free!) with a completely enclosed fenced backyard that is located one mile from town center. This is a listing from owners of a sister cabin, Peaceful Pines, which is located less than a half mile away and is listed on both VRBO (75 5 star reviews) and the competitive site (166 reviews at an average of 4.98 out of 5 stars). The owners live less than 1/2 mile from the property and are available if needed. Whispering Pines has been updated to give renter’s a nice, clean, cabin experience with the best in host support and their availability. Awesome place!!

Everything went great, nice place, it has everything you will need, my daughters had a blast time and my dog's too. Definitely recommend to stay and of course will be back soon. Thanks for a great staycation!!!!

Kid and Pup approved!

We loved this cabin so much! Our pups spent so much time just smelling and exploring the fenced back yard! The cabin was clean and very comfortable. We spent a lot of time walking around during the day and it was nice to come back and relax with popcorn and hot chocolate and a movie on tv. Our host, Jay was very communicative and accommodating. We will definitely recommend and will be back to visit soon!

Amazing if you love hiking and have doggos!

The space is pretty big if it's just you and your partner. Layla and Suki loved the yard and the fire pit being in the center of it was legit. The place is super close to town and all of the bigger trails. Jay and Darlene were such great communicators and their recommendations are absolutely solid. 10/10 will be staying here again to check out more of the area.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful time at this vacation home. It is a great place, the landlords were very nice to us and communicated lots of things and details, which is something we appreciated. We had a wonderful time at this cabin.

Always a nice place to stay

We've stayed at Jay's place a couple times now and it's always the perfect, relaxing place to get away for a couple days. It's clean, quite, great location. There's a comfy bed and a big living room. Most importantly, there's a big fenced in back yard for the pup to run around. I think he loves it the most! We will continue to stay here when we visit Idyllwild. Thanks again!

Nice little Cabin

We spent two nights at Whispering Pine and really liked it; it's not a fancy place but it has everything you need. Jay, the owner, is highly responsive. If you want a weekend break, try this place; you will enjoy it.

Perfect Cabin!

The property was perfect for my stay. Close to the town center and also Idyllwild Arts Academy which is what brought me to town. Would definitely stay again! Ample space, clean and great hosts.

First snow for our fur people

Just amazing! Had a wonderful time, our dogs as well. We enjoyed the drive up with the snow flurries, just so nice to disconnect from everyday life. The VRBO was as described, so charming and very pet friendly. Has every amenity needed if you were going up there to wing it. Very close to town. Everything explained about cabin. Jay the owner communicates promptly if there are any questions. Will go again in Fall!

Great backyard

Property is on a fairly busy road, but the enclosed backyard is excellent. My 2 dogs loved playing in it. Cabin is 1.5 miles to downtown Idyllwild, so convenient for restaurants, market, and other retailers. This was my 2nd visit and sure I'll be back.

wonderful getaway

needed to get to the pine trees and mountain. was great for me and my dog. i needed it fenced securely and it was. there was every amenity. love the fireplace heaters. great ambience!

Great location and stay

We had a lovely visit. The house was clean and tidy. Our 9yo pup had a great time sniffing around the fenced backyard. Communication and support was fantastic. Would visit again!
