Whispering Pines is a pet friendly cabin (fur babies are free!) with a completely enclosed fenced backyard that is located one mile from town center. This is a listing from owners of a sister cabin, Peaceful Pines, which is located less than a half mile away and is listed on both VRBO (75 5 star reviews) and the competitive site (166 reviews at an average of 4.98 out of 5 stars). The owners live less than 1/2 mile from the property and are available if needed. Whispering Pines has been updated to give renter’s a nice, clean, cabin experience with the best in host support and their availability. This property is AMAZING! So much space, fully stocked and close to town. Great communication with Jay, the owner. It was like home away from home. Already planning for a return trip!

It was a very relaxing and restful stay. The cabin is very cozy. I really like that the hosts are so pet-friendly. Jay is also very accommodating and lets you know of plenty of things to do in the area. The cabin was stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen, and the rooms are all very well furnished/decorated.

Amazing little place!

I love this cabin. The location was perfect. Our dogs loved the backyard. It had everything we could have needed. It was perfect for us and we had a great stay. Can't wait to go back!

Cozy mountain cabin

Quaint cabin, great location and wonderful space for our dog. We had a wonderful weekend getaway and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Pet friendly - but keep in mind that there are stairs leading to the yard so if you have an older dog or a dog with a hip issues that might be an issue- BUT you can go around the side of the house and you will only have a few steps. Nice cabin , quiet neighborhood. Jay is great to communicate with.

Nice little Cabin

We spent two nights at Whispering Pine and really liked it; it's not a fancy place but it has everything you need. Jay, the owner, is highly responsive. If you want a weekend break, try this place; you will enjoy it.

Great Stay

Whispering pines is cozy and warm, and with a sudden rainstorm this past weekend it "felt like home"! Jay was responsive and helpful, we would definitely book again!

Perfect cabin for family

Cabin exceeded all our expectations, so spacious and we especially loved the fenced yard. It was the perfect space for my 4 year old and dog to play in the snow!

Amazing if you love hiking and have doggos!

The space is pretty big if it's just you and your partner. Layla and Suki loved the yard and the fire pit being in the center of it was legit. The place is super close to town and all of the bigger trails. Jay and Darlene were such great communicators and their recommendations are absolutely solid. 10/10 will be staying here again to check out more of the area.

Mountain vacation

It was awesome and had everythimg u needed ..the bed was very comfortable like a cloud .would recommend this cabin to anyone.however the shops up there i didnt see as good shops for tourist .

All the BEAR necessities

Wonderful time and great property with everything you need. Very pet friendly which is much appreciated. The owners love bears so see how many bears you can spot in the property when you stay. We stopped counting at 38 to go hiking.

First snow for our fur people

Just amazing! Had a wonderful time, our dogs as well. We enjoyed the drive up with the snow flurries, just so nice to disconnect from everyday life. The VRBO was as described, so charming and very pet friendly. Has every amenity needed if you were going up there to wing it. Very close to town. Everything explained about cabin. Jay the owner communicates promptly if there are any questions. Will go again in Fall!

Property Manager Goes Above & Beyond

The beautiful cabin is cozy and immaculately clean! I was thrilled to find it has excellent Wi-Fi, and a big fenced yard for my dog. And the shower is heavenly! It is clear that the property manager has anticipated the needs of all guests! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Little slice of heaven

We loved our stay here! Cabin was clean, had everything we needed for a weekend away from the city. We loved the gas fireplace but there is also a wood fire place in the kitchen (we didn’t get around to using it). Backyard was big and spacious but we didn’t use it much bc it was covered in snow during our trip. Thanks for a great stay jay!!

A Snowy Getaway Weekend

Great communication with Jay! The place was easy to find. It was an extremely snowy weekend but a fun one. Wish we could have enjoyed the big backyard with our pooch but there was way too much snow. We’ll head back for sure!

Awesome Relaxation!

Thank you for the great hospitality. I have to say, this is the best stay I had so far from all the places we stayed at, and will be coming back. My pups loved it. The cabin was decorated in very positive a cozy fashion that gave everyone great vibes. Very clean and very spacious. The back yard for the pups is huge. Although, they did not venture too far as they were a bit shy. All the shopping and restaurants near by was a great convenience, with the most awesome sunsets, where the sun just hides itself over the mountain, while you sip on some tasty wine from the local winery. Overall, it was just what we needed. I hope others can appreciate this stay. Sincerely, Melanie, Efren, Dillon, and Pups (Pluto and Felix)
