Our family (7 adults, 1 teenager, 1 toddler) had a great time. We were close enough to enjoy a short ride to the shops and restaurants at Bolton Landing and Lake George but also Schroon Lake which we spent most of the day at for their awesome Fourth of July celebration. The property is excellent, lots of little details, and very well kept. The owners were very much available when we had questions. We highly recommended this property!

Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property, which was spacious and comfortable with lots of fun activities. The hosts were very responsive and provided us with helpful information about the home and surrounding area.

Weekend getaway

We stayed at Hemlock Hill Lodge for a yearly golf & hiking weekend. Plenty of room for 8 adults. Great house and the hosts were incredible. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect Getaway

Everything was fantastic about the property and it was just what we were looking for. A great getaway for a weekend with some friends! The hosts were very friendly and super responsive - you could tell they wanted us to have a nice time at their home.

Snow Weekend

This place exceeded our expectations. Our family wished we would be able to spend more time there, but what a wonderful experience while there. So many things to do and everything is close by. Will be visiting there again!

Amazing Place!!

We had such a great time! Lindsay and John went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at either of their places. They have thought of every thing to ensure you and your family have a good time.

Great location and beautiful property. Perfect for a large group!

The hosts were so responsive and accommodating. Even with a major snowstorm they did not miss a beat. The 2+ feet of snow was out of the driveway and place was warm and cozy..

Perfect

Clean, fun for the kids, great cabin feel, great space, comfortable beds. Really couldn’t ask for anything more. Game room was the highlight for the kids!

Amazing house and an amazing vacation

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was at Hemlock Hill. John & Lindsay have a beautiful home close to so many things to do in the ADK mountains. They gave us many wonderful suggestions of things to do in the area. They were very accommodating and their home is immaculate, beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed to make our stay fun and enjoyable. We hope to visit again.

Perfect getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hemlock Hill! The house and property are wonderful - our group was four adults and two kids under 13, and it was comfortable and well-appointed for all our needs. The location was perfect for quick and easy travel to the activities we wanted to do - hiking and biking trails, kayaking, rail biking, and great restaurants. John and Lindsay seem to have thought of everything, and we look forward to another visit!

Love It!

Our stay at Hemlock Lodge was fabulous! The house met more than our expectations. It was very spacious and decorated so nicely. Everything was in perfect condition and met our every needs. Location was excellent. We all fell in love with the area. Great for kayaking, swimming, hiking and shopping!

Amazing Stay in Brant Lake

My friends and I stayed at Hemlock Hill Lodge for my bachelorette. We absolutely loved it! The lodge was so clean and the perfect size for a group of 10. We loved how well stocked the kitchen was and that there was a grill and outdoor furniture. This place really has everything you would want for your trip to Lake George. It’s in a secluded area but only a short drive away from all the things to do around the lake. Highly recommend staying at Hemlock Hill if you are considering a trip!

Wonderful Place

Just as described, this place was perfect for our family. We had busy days exploring and then enjoyed playing games and making puzzles as a family. Plenty of room, yet a cozy feel. John & Lindsay were great with communication and any help if we had questions. If we travel back to the area, we would definitely rent from them again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Absolute Perfection!!! We stayed at Hemlock Hill over Thanksgiving and could not have been more impressed. The house was immaculate and a wonderful place to celebrate Thanksgiving dinner with our son and his fiancé. This house has all of the convinces of home but located in a very private Adirondack setting. Our hosts were the best host we have ever had. They were so accommodating and even set up a texting group for quick questions that may arise. The internet connection is provided by Starlink and it worked flawlessly. This is truly an great place to stay year round. Highly recommended!

A great Adirondack Getaway

We stayed at Hemlock Hill Lodge for a week in mid-October and loved our first trip to the Adirondacks. The Lodge was a great home base for adventuring throughout the Adirondacks and nearby Vermont. Our kids loved the creek in the front yard and the basement game room and we loved the soaking tub and large shower in the main bathroom. The Lodge was spacious, but still felt cozy and it was a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The owners were very communicative and even gave us some suggestions for things to do while we stayed at their property.

Jeremy and his family were great guests and kept great communication. We were so happy to host them for their first time in the ADK's! They left the home clean and just the way they found it. We would absolutely have them back again!

Great base for family wedding

I rented the house to stay with family for wedding on the lake nearby. The house is spacious and comfortable. Plenty of room at the table for everyone to sit, eat and catch up, but also enough space to spread out in the house too! The owners were thorough with instructions and quick to respond on a couple questions I had when I checked in. I had to scramble to find a house for my group at last minute when another rental fell through and so glad this was available.. it was great!

Fantastic Family get Together.

Renting with John and Lindsay was a real pleasure. The house is perfect for a family get together. A large open area for everyone to be together and plenty of space for alone time. Everything is well documented and John and Lindsay get back to any questions super quick. The house is well equipped with a game room, games, and outdoor equipment. My 11 year old loved the vintage Nintendo in his bedroom. There are lots of nice little touches like this. We loved our stay and experience.

Simply amazing!

From the check in process, to every amenity you could think of being at your fingertips in the house! A bathroom on every level = game changer. The decor, the layout, the kitchen!! I can’t think of one thing we’d change other than booking longer! John and Lindsay were available at ANY time and that alone shows how much they care. The house was immaculately clean, fully stocked with legit everything! Just bring yourself, your friends and some food! 🍻 Such a peaceful little oasis and I can’t thank them enough for opening it up and allowing guests to enjoy the wonders of upstate NY! Can’t wait to go back in the fall! If you’re thinking about booking, you won’t regret it! This is the house for you!

This is exactly what we were looking for - beautiful, cozy and immaculate! John and Lindsay were super accommodating, and checked in with us to make sure everything was going ok. We has a such an enjoyable vacation here, as we spent relaxing quality time with family. Highly recommend!

Relaxing family break

Overall, the stay was enjoyable and a good opportunity for family time. The house was clean and inviting, the beds were comfortable, and there were puzzles and games to enjoy together. The air hockey table quit working on the first day, but there was fortunately foosball and shuffleboard to enjoy. There was no dishwasher, noted in the listing, so bringing some disposable dishes helps for larger groups. The location was away from everything, yet close enough to the conveniences of food and shopping. We had fun fishing nearby, taking a walk down to the brook and seeing a deer out the window.
