great location-place could use a deep cleaning-fans dusty, carpet needs cleaning or replaced & mat at front entrance stayed wet. Otherwise very comfortable & peaceful

We really enjoyed our stay, only wish it could have been longer! We loved how easy it was to access the lake. Our doggies loved the little beach area. The views of the lake from the porch and extra deck were absolutely beautiful. The hot tub was the perfect ending to each evening. Would love to stay here again when the weather is warmer and can actually spend more time at the little beach. We loved having a fire each night, there was plenty of firewood available for us. Overall, no complaints

We had a wonderful stay. The house is very cute and has everything we needed for your mini vacation. We loved the fire pit, water front access, and comfortable living spaces. The hot tub was really nice as well. We ranged from age 82 to 17 and had a wonderful long weekend. This house is dog friendly and my pups were very comfortable as well. Host answered all our questions in a timely manor and gave us a detailed email on check in day. We would definitely stay here again. We did see a family of bears in the front yard one evening a Momma and her 3 babies, and we had several deer visit us each morning and evening. Oh and let's not forget the ground hog and squirrels.

We loved our little lakefront getaway! It was quiet and clean, exactly as described, perfect for our Spring Break reset. Host was very communicative, as well, and offered many helpful suggestions for local activities. Would rent again!

What an amazing property! We couldn't have been happier with our stay and can't wait to come back. The host was extremely communicative and helpful, the property had everything we needed for a family of 5 (2 adults 3 kids under 7) and a dog.

Great Vacation Spot

Great location and vacation house. Lots of thoughtful touches that made the stay really good. Very dog friendly rental with some extra supplies. The lake and surrounding areas are extremely beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

Quiet retreat

Great cabin, great host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hot tub is great with views of the lake from the deck and a quiet neighborhood for walking the dog.

Matt was very helpful and communicative starting before our trip, and provided lots of useful information to make our stay an enjoyable one. The house was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the setting is beautiful right on the lake with lots of activities nearby, even though it was just after the end of the summer season and pretty quiet in the area.

This is a great place to stay if you, like I, wanted to stay at clean, comfortable place at DCL that includes a hot tub and direct access to the lake. Our family had a great time fishing, paddle boarding, paddle boating and kayaking at the lake. I caught some nice bass right there at the beach. A night time campfire was most enjoyable and the hot tub was absolutely perfect. We did have a bit of rain on day 2, but that left us with a day to play board games and hit some shops in town. Our host sent us entrance instructions that were very clear. Checking out was just as easy. We hope to stay at this location in future for our visits to DCL!

Great spot for the kids

Everyone had a good time. The shallow beach area was perfect for my 5 year old, and Ok for everyone else.

Another wonderful trip!

This was our second visit & it was just as beautiful as last time. We spent most of our time paddle boarding and on the beach. The hot tub is always a favorite of the kids! The cottage is always clean and cozy. Thanks again for a great family vacation!

Great stay by the lake

Worked great for my family with our golden retriever. Sanded lake entry point right behind the property and easy walk to a trail around the lake.

Cozy fun house

We come to deep creek every February and this is by far the best house we have ever rented. Cozy, clean and dog friendly. We loved it and will definitely be back again! Owners definitely take pride in their home and it shows.

Wonderful short stay

We booked a last minute stay and were extremely pleased with everything about this rental. The place is very clean, the location can't be beat and the amenities are plentiful. We would definitely come back for a lobger stay next time. Highly recommend.
