Cozy refuge near St. Mary’s Hospital

Stayed here during a difficult time in our lives and it was a great place to have friends and family be with us.

Jessica was more than welcoming and made sure everything was set and perfect for our last minute stay in Rochester. House was in a great location and even the snow was cleared from the driveway so we had no issues getting in. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Thanks again!

Central to Mayo and shopping

The location is very central to Mayo and shopping. The neighborhood was quiet. I will stay there again.

Cute property and great location!!

Very cute house!! Property manager was so nice and super responsive. The location was just a few minutes from shopping and so dining. Very comfy and would absolutely recommend.

Close to Civic Center, Kids Loved It

This was a nice place to rest when we came to Rochester for a conference. My kids keep asking when we'll come back. :)

Great!

This house was perfect for our stay. With Mayo Clinic appointments, it was easy and close to get to the clinic. The fenced in backyard was great for our little doxie. Jessica was awesome, helpful and great to communicate with!

Comfortable hime

We stayed here after driving all day. It was a very comfortable home. Jessica was a great hostess. She even gave us a few suggestions for places to eat dinner, which we appreciated. If you are visiting the Mayo Clinic this home is within walking distance.

Great communication

There were issues with our check in but Jessica did her best to rectify the situation, a crazy weekend but beyond nice host and communication was great.

Cozy, welcoming safe place

We stayed here while in town for my brother’s wedding. The host is very kind and made us feel very welcome. It felt like a safe neighborhood and it was really nice for my parents, my husband and I and our kids to be all together in one place versus two hotel rooms. We also didn’t want to worry about keeping the kids constantly quiet in a hotel room.

Perfect!

This worked perfectly for us! It’s a nice house with everything we needed! Both my brothers family and my family stayed here. It really is a perfect location, easy access to the highway and close to the stores we needed. The owners were very easy to contact and response time was immediate. We will absolutely choose this over a hotel again!

Very comfortable and an excellent location.

Jessica was very responsive to all our questions. The stay was not at the above property. We traded with a family needing to be close to the clinic. We had dogs and it worked out very well. I would definitely use Covered by Faith again.

Cozy house close to the Mayo facilities

The property is located very close (in walking distance) to St Mary's Hospital and only a few blocks away from the Mayo Clinic. The house is small but cozy and has all you need for a comfortable stay while visiting the Mayo. Communication with Jessica was very easy. She was replying fast and was very helpful. Especially when we needed to extend the stay due to unexpected hospitalization. We are very thankful that we were at the right place during the rough time.

Great location - but bad experience overall

We rented the house for 11 days while my dad was being treated at Mayo. On day 2 we got bad news and my dad's treatments were ended. I asked if we could get a refund - the property manager told us we'd have to contact VRBO - we looked at all of the paperwork involved and decided it wasn't worth it. She messaged me to see if we were leaving and I messaged back and said not if we can't get a refund. On day 5 we drove my dad 6 hours home - stayed home for a couple days - and on day 8 drove back to Rochester just for a little vacation since we still had the house rented. We pulled up and there was another car in the driveway. We called the property manager and she told us she thought we moved out so she rented it out to somebody else. I told her that we specifically told her we were not leaving early. We still had groceries there - but thank goodness we had grabbed all of our personal belongings. She did issue us a partial refund. However, it's very unethical to charge me for the full stay and yet rent it out to somebody else too - thinking she was going to get away with that. She could have easily messaged me to see if we had moved out and I would have told her again, that no we hadn't. So we drove 6 hours back to Rochester only because we were still paying for the house and then had to find a different place to stay.

Sorry for any confusion on our part. You first stated you were leaving Saturday morning because your dad couldn't get the help you needed so you were leaving early. You stated you had insurance you paid for to get the refund for cancelling. Then you stated you weren't leaving since you didn't want to figure out insurance. As stated before on the phone with you, we had issues at the house since there was a big storm that came through. Garbage cans knocked over down the driveway and no one picked them up. I knocked on the door for a couple of days and no answer and no movement at the house for days. No sign of you and no response from you. I needed to go in to make sure everything was okay. No personal items were left behind and a couple of minimal food items left in the fridge. Wet towels were in the bathroom tub which usually means they are ready to get washed since that is one of the items you need to do when checking out. No information given from you on what was going on. We issued an entire refund that Saturday and on. You were given a full refund for the days you didn't stay.

Perfect for Mayo-St Mary's Hospital.

Great location. Not ideal for handicapped. But for last minute scheduling change was excellent. Jessica was most helpful.
