Three bedroom home with open floor plan, 6 individual beds with optional 7th fold out futon that converts to a full. This house is ideal for groups going fishing with plenty of off street parking with a driveway in the front and back for boats. 3 blocks from the lake. 1 mile to the Jet Express & downtown Port Clinton, short drive to Catawba Island & Sandusky. Outdoor area with gas grill. We have an active doorbell security camera outside to ensure the safety of the guests and our home.

The house was neat and well decorated, and the kitchen was well stocked. The outdoor motion detector light and the train woke us up a few times overnight, but it was a good overall stay.

Property surfaced cleaned horrible condition under couch pillows and bed sheets stained with one bed smelled of urine. I wouldn’t stay there again due to the uncleanliness.

100 percent false! Our housekeeper needed the day off so I cleaned personally. This guest asked to check in early with no charge and I let her know unfortunately this was not possible and this is the reason for the review. No smells or stains on bedding/ all surfaces wiped down with bleach wipes. couch has cushions pulled and swept as part of our daily cleaning. Thanks for the false review.

Everything worked as it should, host was great and fast to answer questions. Plenty of room for 2 boats and 2 trucks. This was the most convenient location and stay we have had for the area. Great value for the money.

Want to be run over by a train every hour? No thank you! What a miserable stay. Kitchen isn’t equipped with basic items. Unsanitary, no dish washer to sterilize the items. Everything is “hand” washed. No hood for the stove. No door on master bed room. If you stay here bring ear plugs. Oh yeah, host wants tips and asks you to sort trash and recycling. Would never recommend this place.

So sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. We do not have a dishwasher, but we supply plenty of Dawn soap which all the basic items more than most people use on a short stay such as coffee maker, keriug, toaster, microwave, dishes, cups, silverware, cutting boards, sharp knifes, pots and pans, baking wear, blender and grilling tools for the gas grill. We do have a recycle bin as we encourage recycling for those who wish to partIcipate. There is a train nearby that runs through the entire city of Port Clinton which is busier some days than others.

Great Get away

Great fishing, great place to stay. We went to Wild Oast Brewery, what a cool place with great food and great beer. Later in the evening we made some fresh fish Tacos on the properties grill. Will return for sure.

My husband and I like to travel, so as guests ourselves in our own travels we know it is important to have a safe comfortable clean place to stay away from home. We have provided shampoo, conditioner, and body soap along with clean towels. All you have to do is bring your toothbrush! We also have made sure the kitchen is stocked with plenty of pots and pans, dishes, knife set, blender, basic spices and dish soap.
