Host was incredibly responsive when any questions were asked. They provided helpful information about the area, where to eat, things to do. Full kitchen and grocery store very close made it easy to have some meals at theProperty.

Great stay

It was comfortable and clean for our family of 6. We had everything we needed and the host was accessible and responsive. Very modern and the area is beautiful. Very close to the train station to get the city.

"Had a wonderful stay, my family and I really enjoyed the area. We came to visit my 96 year old grandmother and Mr. Berger and his hospitality made even more of an awesome stay. Truly enjoyed how well kept and clean the home was and how everything was at our convenience. Thank you again!"

Gateway to Hudson River relaxation

The apartment is very roomy, perfect for groups. Everything was clean and beds were comfortable. Water pressure in the shower is top notch. Kitchen has everything you need. Outdoor deck is spacious and great spot for soaking up some sun and fresh air. There is a walking trail directly behind the house which is great for people and pets. The location is easy to access and well positioned to discover Westchester county.

Great place for visiting New York City

This is a great place to stay to make day trips into New York City. We walked to Dobbs Ferry station in 15 minutes. It’s uphill on the way, back so slightly longer. It was a pleasant, easy walk. The neighborhood seems very safe. It was great to have off road parking and the apartment was warm and comfortable to come home to after a long day sightseeing.

Quick getaway

The property is as described, clean, 3BR, 2BA, full kitchen/living area, deck. It is compact, but we had 2 families of 4 (3rd bedroom was the kids room) and it was enough space-we were not there very much. It is on a busy street located about 15 minute walk up the hill from the Dobbs Ferry train station. We came up from the city and did not have a car. We walked to and from downtown Hastings for our event, about a 20 min walk. Uber is available in the area but we ended up walking because the weather was nice. Host provided all necessary information and check in/out was smooth. Would stay there again.

Not Hastings on Hudson

Property was not Hastings-on-Hudson but actually Dobbs Ferry. Which made for a mixup for the entire week. This was not a house but a second floor apartment. Clean, some updated amenities but lacking in a realistic computer that could be used, no safety bars on the wall or rug on the bathroom tub floor for older guests. In general on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a 6 or 6.5.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify a few points for future guests. The property location is accurately displayed on the booking platform before a reservation is confirmed. While the mailing address is in Dobbs Ferry, it is located directly on the Hastings-on-Hudson border, which can sometimes create confusion for visitors unfamiliar with the area. The property is part of a duplex home, and guests have exclusive access to the entire upper level as described in the listing photos and details. We understand that some guests may expect a standalone single-family home, and we will review the listing to see if we can make this even clearer. We appreciate your positive comments regarding cleanliness and the updated amenities. Guest comfort is very important to us. We also appreciate the suggestions regarding bathroom safety bars and non-slip bath mats for older guests and will consider adding these improvements. Terrific place!

We were a group of 5 adults and a baby, stayed for a long weekend. The house is quiet, clean and comfortable. There is a path in the back yard that leads to the cute downtown of Hastings-on-Hudson, just a 15-minute walk away. We visited in December, but it looks like the waterfront would be really nice in the summer! Checkin and checkout were easy, and David was great to work with. Would highly recommend

This was a great stay for our family wedding. Well stocked, clean, comfy, great kitchen and awesome water pressure in both showers. The large second floor deck was a nice bonus. Highly recommended! Thank you David!

Dobbs Ferry

The host and his home never disappoints. Everything was perfect . We had a very enjoyable stay. Besides the accommodations being perfect the location is close to wonderful restaurants, nature attractions and Manhattan. Thanks again David for your hospitality and hope to revisit your home soon.

We stayed for 4 nights as our house was being renovated a few miles away. Very modern, clean space with everything we needed and super responsive host! And the showers are to die for!
