First floor layout has 2 bedrooms with another full bathroom. This is a perfect location one mile from Tuckahoe train station for a swift 30 minute Manhattan commute. The neighborhood is friendly with a great variety of walking.

It was easy to find. House was lovely but needed a little TLC. It was conveniently located and a great place for my family and I during our vacation.

Pictures are accurate. Space was clean and check in was easy. Was traveling with a toddler and the stairs were a bit hard to navigate and one of the bathrooms temperature control was finicky but overall a spacious property that was well stocked (kitchen and bathrooms).

Lovely space. Communication was excellent. Very convenient to sarah Lawrence college. The only thing that was a bit problematic was the wood floor in upstairs bedroom had water damage which caused me to get a large splinter in my foot. There were rugs to cover most of it, but I made an unlucky step. Overall, excellent place!

My family really enjoyed staying here! We each had our own rooms and enjoyed having more family come and visit us at the house. The kitchen was beautiful and the loft was a great space for the “master” bedroom. I will definitely stay here again for future NY visits!

We had the perfect time! The loft and the rooms were beautiful and spacious, and it was a blast. Great hosts, great home! My children loved the yard and the space, and wife and I were very comfortable. We are booking here again when we come to NY. Thank you for so much

Wonderful Stay Clean, Spacious, and Perfect for Family Gatherings

We had an excellent stay at this property! The house was very clean, bright, and sunny, with plenty of space for my family. There were many rooms, and the beautiful backyard made our time there even more enjoyable. The host provided everything we needed from towels, napkins, and a fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, which added to our comfort. We stayed here for my son’s wedding, and now that we have family in New York, we will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

This house was very cute. The upstairs was a little roughly finished re: floors and restroom, but very spacious, functional, and gorgeous. I loved staying up there!On the first floor, the kitchen was very nice, as were the other bedrooms, living, dining, and bathroom. There is a nice deck and yard as well.This home was conveniently located to places I wanted to visit, Blaze Jack-o-Lantern festival, Tarrytown & Sleepy Hollow. I really enjoyed my stay here & would definitely stay here again. The only thing I had any issue with was trying to get the temp right in showers and kitchen sink, so be careful not to get burnt! Otherwise, I highly recommend this place & the hosts were easy to reach.

The property itself is fine from the standpoint of cleanliness, decor, parking, and relatively quiet neighborhood. Our issues were with AC in the main floor. There were no instructions on how temperature control is managed on each floor. While there is an AC unit outside the house, we could not get the thermostat to turn on the AC, with no cool air coming from the vents. The upstairs was quite hot when we checked in. Took more than an hour for it cool down. The two wall units upstairs work fine and helped cool downstairs to about 76F, which is okay in general but hot for sleeping, especially with no fan in the bedroom to circulate air. There was one spare box fan in the house which helped with one room, but the person in the other room had to manage without. We did manage to speak to the owners about this issue on the final day of our 3 nights stay. They thought that the gas burner on switch might have been turned off, which turned out not to be the case. So we are not sure what exactly was the reason for downstairs AC to not function. To be clear, the thermostat showed Cool mode and Fan On, but even with manual adjustment of temp below the set point, we could not get air to come on.

This turned out to be a boiler issue which we have since resolved with a licensed contractor. Apologies that this happened during your stay, issue is now fixed.

Great location. Close to everything we had going on. The host kept us updated on changes and was prompt to respond to changes in our itinerary. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and having a morning coffee. I've put them on my list for future visits.

Lovely quiet location near a good train service to the centre of NYC

We wanted to visit New York but stay somewhere with less bustle, and this place was perfect. Tuckahoe is a leafy, pleasant town on the Harlem Line straight into Grand Central, and the house is up a quiet road and was a great space for us and our adult sons, with good amenities and a great outdoor space. We didn't have a car with us, and it is quite a walk to the train (30 minutes) but a perfectly pleasant one, although we chickened out and got an Uber back some days!
