The location, host communications and the logistics were all great. The downside is that it's an old house that needs a lot of work. It is a good place if you need some beds, a couch to watch some tv and not much else. The house is not for a cute or pampered experience.

We had a great time staying at your home! The location was so perfect in relation to Fordham and Manhattan. Just far enough away and yet just close enough to be able to access both easily. The house was very clean and orderly.

Everything was wonderful. The host was extremely helpful and responsive especially when my daughter left her glasses in the house.

Pleasant stay

The Joyce occasion on my stepdaughter’s graduation, her siblings were able to join us in a relaxed family setting. It was well located for a purpose.

We needed a house for our two families to stay for a graduation weekend and this home worked perfectly for us. Plenty of space was available on 3 levels plus an outdoor porch. We enjoyed the large dining table and also the living room with plenty of seating. Grocery store and New Rochelle station are a short drive away, but walking the area was easy as well and we felt safe to walk at night around the neighborhood.The host was accommodating and responsive to communications. We would stay again.

Lovely home with convenient access to the city. This home had everything we needed for a cozy weekend with family. We enjoyed the days in Manhattan, and came back to a well equipped home to relax together. 30 minute train ride to Grand Central, spacious and comfortable home. Cant be beat!

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this property. The home was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and accommodated our group of 10 well. Our grandchildren especially enjoyed the game room with Connect Four and Tic-Tac-Toe.The host was friendly, responsive, and quick to answer our questions. Our only communication issue was that we had to request the check-in information about 10 minutes before our scheduled arrival because we hadn't received it and were waiting outside the property. Once sent, the guide was very helpful and clearly explained what was and wasn't provided. It would have been nice to receive it earlier, as we would have brought coffee and tea from home instead of making a last-minute trip to the store.A few suggestions: there weren't quite enough towels for 10 guests, and some of the light switches—especially in the kitchen—were difficult to find. Also, the front and back exterior stairs are steep, and the handrails felt loose and could use reinforcement for added safety.Other than those minor issues, the inside of the home was well maintained, comfortable, and perfect for our family gathering. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciate the hospitality.
