This was a nice place with a good location. Two things to know- the windows didn’t have full length curtains, just the plastic slats so the front bedroom had no privacy from people walking by. We put a bed sheet over it for privacy because we didn’t feel safe having our kids in there. Both bedrooms are missing individual blinds so no blockage from the sun. The air conditioning only had one AC vent in the bedroom and the temperature was set to 70. My husband and I were so hot. Location was good, just a quick drive to Dollywood.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was roomy and clean. But it wasn’t easy to find a parking place in especially at night. We will definitely stay again.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Positives: Spacious room, lots of towels, free soap, dishes to utilize, large deck.Negatives: Over-priced, dated rooms, broken blinds, no shampoo/conditioner, have to wash your own dishes, take out your own trash, unspectacular views, and we didn’t receive the free ticket to Dollywood as advertised.

Thank you for staying with us at Whispering Pines Resort! We greatly appreciate your feedback and would like to apologize for any concerns you encountered during your stay. As with most vacation rentals, we do ask that guests wash their dishes and remove their trash from the home before departure. We provide a starter supply of many items however shampoo and conditioner are not provided. We have a complete list of what we provide in our confirmation so that guests are prepared. In regards to the Dollywood ticket, our office as well as the ticket program tried to reach you by phone multiple times before your stay. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach you or we would have been happy to set this up for you. Again, we greatly appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again soon.

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at whispering pines condos. Nice and clean and modern rooms. Very relaxing atmosphere. Had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

The property looked exactly as the picture represented

Great condo and location. This condo is at the back of the property and has a beautiful balcony which was very quiet and a pretty view.

Our only complaint is those blinds....most are broke and don't close right for privacy . I think it's time to change the blinds in all the units or put curtains up for privacy. Week-End Review

I've had a hip replacement and it's very difficult for me to use a standard height commode. Everything else was wonderful! This is our second time to stay at this facility and we will definitely return.

Disappointed

I was told we would be in 413(bottom level)but we were in room 423 (2nd floor)! Then, the TV didn't work in my son's room!

Your reservation was correctly made and we did have you reserved for Unit 413 but unfortunately the Key for unit 423 was left for you in our late arrivals box by mistake. We offered to move you back to unit 413 when the error was discovered but you declined. So sorry for the mix up but we do make mistakes occasionally :-) The TV's can be complex to operate and we have maintenance on site to assist with any issues. Please let us know any time you have any issues at all and we will be happy to make them right! We hope you will understand and will come and stay with us again soon!
