Perdido Key is renowned for it's incomparable white sand beaches, miles of undeveloped coastline and stretches of pristine park land. This family friendly vacation destination has a laid back vibe and a more natural setting. Perdido Key is known to be a Boaters Paradise so PKRM would like to invite guests to get out on the water. Lost Key is located in the heart of Perdido Key and is close to shopping, restaurants and local attractions. Downtown Pensacola is a short drive to the East and Orange Beach is just a short drive to the West, each area offering more shopping, dining and sights to see.
This unit offers a primary bedroom with a King sized bed for a great night's sleep and an en-suite bath with a spacious separate shower. The guest room has a full sized bed along with a twin sized bed. The sofa in the well appointed living area is a sleeper sofa. The guest bath has a shower tub combo and there is a half bath in the living area.
This modern, light and bright kitchen is fully equipped for preparing snacks or gourmet meals. If you don't feel like cooking, be sure to check out one of the popular restaurants highly recommended by Perdido Key locals. The kitchen flows to the dining area and living area to the private screened porch. Enjoy relaxing and refreshing after a fun day in the sun at the private Beach Club on the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico. The property needs something telling guests how to work different things in the home. Needs to have check out instructions on what they expect. I was notified 2 hours before checkout that I needed to let Alexa know that I was leaving the home, i didn’t even know there was an Alexa in the home. The television in the master bedroom never worked. The wall in the master bedroom had a big glob of brown stuff on it by the closet.

Family Vacay

Property itself was perfect! Downside property access key cards NEVER worked. We called numerous times and even visited the office about the issue. Therefore, we were unable to use the two pools and fitness center. Also, the female guards were very rude about the issue. Other than this issue it was perfect.

Bait and Switch

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was met at the check-desk with the impression that I was not wanted or that I was not welcome. I had lots of questions but was only referred to the psperwork that was shoved in my face. I had no idea where to go and was just told it was on the map provided. We took a wrong turn and soon discovered we were headed to Pensacola. We eventually found the unit and had trouble getting the door to unlock. Once inside, we soon discovered that none of thr three TVs worked. I called the office the next morning and was told that they would put in a work order but gave little encouragement as to when the TVs would be fixed. We were without television for all of one night and all the next morning. One of the TVs was never fixed. Next we discovered that our ice maker in our frige was not working as well as no dispenser for ice or water. Also, when you opened the fridge door, the lights would not come on. That was rectified by the end of day two.To be such a "so called" upscale unit, the kitchen ware was the cheapest I've ever seen. I was embarrassed to have invired guest to stay wirh us at such a " nice" place.There was so much sand in the garage that it was almost impossible to keep it out of the unit. I found a broom and did my best to better the situation. The railing on the screened in porch was so dirty that you could not lean against it or even use it to rest a drink.Back to the TVs; the cable package carried NO sports channels. No lie, It was beyond belief. It was only one of the biggest college football and basketball weeks of the year. We spent the whole week watching games on our tablets and phones: ridiculous.Overall, the unit was stark and cold, very little decorations with hsrdly no pictures and no rugs which all in all made the acoustics almost unbearable. Most definitely a bait and switch situation.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had an excellent time during our stay at this property! It was very clean and had everything we were looking for in a vacation home/community. We loved the spaciousness of the home. We had 4 adults 2 teenagers and a 3 year old in our group. We loved how close we were to the beach and the pool also. The beach club and private beach area was perfect. We will definitely stay at this property again in the future.

Roomy townhome at the beach . . .

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 14334 Beach Heather Court was just the right size for our family of four. It is located within reasonable walking distance of the beach club (which is good because the shuttle does not pick up from this street and there is no parking at LKBC). Lost Key Resort offers many amenities and has the potential to be a very nice community. The private/gated beach club offers restrooms, showers, pool, snacks and beverages. Do NOT pay for chair rental. Chairs and umbrellas are included with your rental fee as owners pay for this yearly with HOA dues. Our unit was not very clean and would not offer enough linens, blankets etc. for a larger family or group. The kitchen was outfitted with minimal cooking utensils and plastic (!!!!) plates and bowls. We were disappointed with Perdido Key Resort Management. The staff was very rude and unprofessional at check-in. We were given the wrong address to pick up keys and information. We were provided with wrong information about the Beach Club. We were given the wrong wi-fi password. We will consider returning to Lost Key Resort but will book with a different management company in the future.

Well, after not seeing this place for 32 years it was time to re-visit and see the changes.
