Beautiful lake view home completely remodeled in 2021, new everything including layout, open floor plan, covered patio and charcoal grill! With a double wide pull through drive there is plenty of room for your truck(s) and trailer(s). Located in Teal Bend, a quiet community with a park, shelter, basketball goal and playground. . The home is located just 2 miles from Long Shoal Marina where you can rent pontoon boats, boat slips, and Jet Skis. Truman State Park Marina is 8 miles where you can rent Pontoon and Fishing boats, you can also rent a slip for your personal boat. Historic downtown Warsaw is just 9 miles, which offers boutique/antique shopping and dining options. Also located on the east side of Warsaw is Lost Valley Fish Hatchery, great place to take the kids. . Perfect for a family getaway or a group of anglers on the next fishing trip.

Awesome property

Large rooms, plenty of space. Covered deck used often, weather was perfect. Very quiet at night, perfect after long days.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. Only issue we had is the kitchen door doesn’t have a shade or curtain over the glass allowing anyone walking or driving by to see inside. We were 3 women traveling together so that was a bit unsettling. Easy fix tho. Otherwise, we were very comfortable!

Boys fishing trip

We stayed Friday, Saturday, and left Sunday. It was a family fishing trip. 1 Grandpa, 2 sons, 3 grandsons. Had a great time and we are already planing next years trip.

2024 Family Fishing Trip

We really enjoyed the house. Exactly as described and very clean. Had everything we needed. Great parking for boats. Enjoyed the patio setup and spent most of our time there, when we weren’t fishing, catching up and grilling out. The owner is great and communicates well.

Labor day birthday weekend

This property was a perfect location for getting to and from longshoal Marina and friends and family that stay around this area in RV park. House was supplied well with towel linens kitchen utensils all the good stuff you need for family vacation. Looking forward to our next stay. The owner Jon was in contact with me from start to finish. Any questions asked was answered within the hour.

Beautiful Relaxing Stay

Our stay at this house was so relaxing and beautiful. The kids had fun playing the games that were in the outside box, the parents enjoyed coffee around the outside table with a view of the lake and the house was all around very clean, roomy and stocked with what we needed for a weekend getaway!

Truman Lake visit

We loved the property that we stayed. We are a family of 6 so we had plenty of space. The home was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Jon was a great resource as to knowing the lay of the land so we could plan our vacation. We hope to come back again!

This home was a perfect setting/environment for our family and what we needed. The home felt comfortable and inviting and was roomy enough for our family. There was ample space for us to visit with each other and spend quality time. It was very refreshing.

Nice getaway

Everything was great. The house was big enough for our family to spread out and be comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, extra bedding, and towels available for use. Nice deck and patio with grill available. I like that the kitchen and living room was open so that I could cook and be in the same area as my family. The neighborhood is quite. The owner responded to my questions quickly and the checkin and out process was easy. Overall great experience. I would definitely book again.

Pictures & Description are spot on!

Stayed in this home for 2 nights. I struggled to book it, due to needing it same day, but between VRBO and owner, we were able to get it done successfully. Home looks just like pictures and is just as described. We have used various services to rent short term rentals, and often this is NOT the case. The home had all the extras that a family could need, and that was appreciated. Neighbors were also very nice. Close to town, but far enough away you get some fresh air! Would recommend to others.

Relaxing

We loved everything about our stay. We were visiting friends in the area, and it was convenient to their house. The decor was fresh, beds comfortable, etc. I hope we left it in acceptable condition. Thank You ....

Awesome place to stay

This was a great place to stay. Plenty of room to hangout and sleeping quarters separated from the hang out area. I enjoyed working remotely from the patio and there was plenty of parking for all our guests. Look forward to staying here again.

The RHOKC

We're a group of 60-something ladies from Kansas City who were looking for a place to celebrate a birthday. Jon's home did not disappoint! Everything is brand new. The kitchen is well-stocked and the beds are comfortable. We spent most of our time on the covered porch and even had a glimpse of Truman Lake from there. It's a 10-minute drive to Warsaw for some great food and antiquing options. We'll be back!
