Not as expected
The positives: plenty of space in the cabin and location was close to parkway in Pigeon Forge. The negatives: location is right on top of several other cabins so NO privacy or view and could even see into loft bedrooms of other cabins from our deck. Hot tub was not warm and did not work for the first few days, bathrooms do not have doors only curtains which is in listing however upon arrival one of them didn’t even have a curtain which was awkward. The hot tub is only accessible through the downstairs bedroom which is awkward. The futon bed was broken and the bunkbeds were about to fall down and old mattresses with springs poking the kids so they used an air mattress. Kitchen is not furnished well but we accidentally left a few expensive items that “the cleaner” can’t find so y’all are welcome. The washer didn’t work properly but the owner did have a new one delivered half way through our stay which was nice. All of the pockets on the pool table were busted and didn’t hold the pool balls so we fixed them with red solo cups and zip ties so we could use it and maintenance was going to order new pockets. We were just disappointed overall as we have stayed in many cabins over the years and this one was just not up to par with the comfort of others. We will search better next time to find local renters as this owner is in California and was “out of the country” during our entire stay so communication was difficult. We rented bc it had 9.6/10 rating and it should be 4/10 at best.
