The house is bright and open with vaulted ceilings in living room and second floor loft. Kitchen is full size with gas range, double sink, full size fridge, dishwasher, pantry and large bar area for eating/working. Bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed with a 3 inch memory foam topper and there is ample space in closet plus a large dresser. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo and plush towels, hairdryer, toiletries are provided. Work from home from your desk up in the loft overlooking the ocean. Have a glass of wine and relax on your private ocean view roof top deck on a lounger or seated at the bar height table and take in the beautiful sunsets. There is also a small balcony off the living room with small bistro table and chairs. When the evenings get chilly, get cozy on the sofa and turn on the fireplace in the living room while watching one of the many tv viewing options such as Cable and Apple TV. Use the sound system with Alexa to play your favorite music. High speed wireless internet throughout the home. Designated Washer and Dryer on lower level for your use.

Be aware - house is accessible with stairs only.

Beach chairs, towels, surfboards and outdoor shower with hot water are available for your use. Sorry, no bikes or BBQ.

Just a short walk to Pier Ave. where you will find restaurants, clubs and shopping. Right around the corner from the Comedy and Magic Club and venues with live music. Walk to Redondo, Hermosa and Manhattan Beach Piers.

Enjoy the beautiful beach with sand volleyball courts, sunbathing, surfing, skim boarding, paddle boarding, kayaking, sport fishing, sailing and more. Bike, rollerskate, roller-blade, skateboard and walk on the 20 mile bike bath stretching from Redondo to Venice Beach and Santa Monica.

Endless Summer is an accurate title for this place. Wish we could have stayed all summer! Such a fun and quirky place to stay with easy beach access and many eating places within walking distance. Really enjoyed our small slice of SoCal beach life.

Amazing location and hosts! The house is adorable and well appointed. Everything you could possibly need is available to you. Excellent location! Walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. The beach is seconds away. We will absolutely be back!!

Great apartment in excellent location just off the Strand. Well furnished and stocked. Love the “surf shack” decor. We especially appreciated the beach chairs available to use. Rooftop deck is pleasant in any weather. We’ll be back!

Jewel in the crown

Excellent location only seconds walk from the beach and the strand, again only minutes walk for restaurants and bars . Accommodation is ideal very comfortable bed and it has everything you need for a stay in Hermosa beach.

Jewel in Hermosa

Excellent location and great communication from owner. This is a well-appointed home with lots of extras from snacks to games. Many great restaurants to choose from. Walked all around and cute shops and nice beach.

Hermosa Beach Good stuff

Great location. Enjoyed everything. The food, the beach, the Strand. Would love to come back. We rented bikes and rode up to Santa Monica pier. Wonderful day.

Beautiful beach house

This was the perfect beach house to unwind and recover from jet lag after a 14 hour flight from Australia! The location is incredible - less than a minute to the beach. The rooftop patio with ocean views was so fantastic for meals and drinks. The kitchen had a good amount of plates and cutlery to ensure you could make use of the dishwasher. Plenty of cooking materials and basics provided. I would say it’s the best kitchen of a rental I have ever experienced. We made use of the sofa bed upstairs as a second bed and this worked well. Friendly owners who are nearby and happy to help - not that we needed anything else for our stay because of the way the house is set up and supplied. Only thing I found tricky was the parking spot but after doing it once or twice got easier. Would highly recommend a stay here - you won’t regret it. Hope to return one day myself!

We Absoutely loved the apartment. It had everything we needed. Very comfortable and decorated with so much detail. Was just a fun place to stay. The beach right around the corner was so convenient for my granddaughters volleyball tournament. The host was very accommodating to our needs. Can’t say enough about this place. We will be back for a longer stay.

We stayed here for 2 weeks, and cannot say enough positive things about this sweet little home away from home! Mary Ann and Peter were fantastic hosts, the home was well-appointed, with everything you could need for cooking (including sharp knives and 3 options to brew coffee - and a grinder!), super comfortable bed, cute vintage beach decor, and an unbeatable location! Mary Ann and Peter were very welcoming, respectful of our privacy, and offered wonderful suggestions of things to do and see. They made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

Book it, you'll love it!

This place is perfect! It's clean, fully stocked with everything you'd need to make a Thanksgiving dinner, and it's walkable to all the restaurants/bars and the beach. I have no complaints at all. Would definitely see if this spot is available if we ever spend 4-5 days in Hermosa :)

Great Beach Getaway for Two

Wonderful apartment for two one block from the Strand. Convenient walking distance to Pier Ave and downtown Hermosa. Nicely decorated rooms with pleasant beach vibe. Thoughtful hosts and well-stocked kitchen. Rooftop deck is a bonus! Thanks again, Mary Ann and Peter! We'll be back.

First Time in Area

I was in town for a concert at the forum. First time I’m the area and wax convenient to LAX and the concert. Mary Ann was a great host and made sure there was not anything I needed. Lots of options for restaurants within walking distance. Had a great time. The pictures are authentic and it’s adorably decorated with items available to use at the beach.

Sunset seekers paradise

Staying at Mary Ann’s place was the highlight and an adventure all on its own. Everyday we discovered another something special about this beach spot haven. Eight nights was still not enough! Thank you so much Mary Ann.

A Wonderful Place to Stay

My wife and I stayed for four days here, and it absolutely exceeded every expectation we had. The location is amazing - about five blocks away from the Hermosa Beach pier, just a couple of houses in from the Strand. The place itself is really cool, clean, and decorated well --- lots of California and surf memorabilia, with an awesome roof deck and a smaller deck off the main floor. Mary Ann was a wonderful host - we had zero problems checking in, and we got a great welcome packet with info on places to go and things to do. We would 100% stay here again if we're back in the area.

Relax in Hermosa

We had a wonderful stay. The location was great. The property is as described, clean, comfortable, and a block from the beach. Mary Ann was easy to communicate with.
