Welcome to Happy Trails, a charming dog friendly home set on a beautiful tree lined street within walking distance of historic downtown Cody. Stroll to local shops, restaurants, galleries, live music venues, or use this inviting property as your perfect Yellowstone basecamp. Whether you are planning a family getaway or an outdoor adventure, Happy Trails places you close to the action while offering a peaceful neighborhood setting to come home to.
Inside, you are welcomed by a bright entry that opens into a comfortable living room with eclectic western touches. Bedroom 1 features a king bed, Bedroom 2 offers a queen bed, and the living room includes a queen size pull out sofa sleeper to provide additional sleeping space for family or friends. The newly renovated full bathroom includes a step in shower, and a convenient half bath with laundry adds extra functionality. The fully equipped kitchen with a cozy dining nook is perfect for gathering and fueling up before a day of exploring Cody and the surrounding outdoors.
Step outside to a private backyard designed for relaxation, complete with outdoor dining space and a gas grill for evening cookouts under the Wyoming sky. After a full day of sightseeing, hiking, or enjoying downtown, return for a restful night at Happy Trails. Comfortable, walkable, and ideally located, this home is your perfect home away from home in Cody.
*Please note: this property is dog friendly only cats are not permitted.

Happy Trails was perfect for a girls trip. The house is in a quiet charming neighborhood. The location is very convenient and within walking distance to the downtown area. Check in and check out was carefree and the communication with the host was great. We loved the Western decor. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen , bedrooms and bathrooms are very well stocked with everything you may need. I definitely would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place for a get away.

Great location in Cody and a very convenient place to stay! The kitchen was great and stocked with everything we needed. The appliances were clean and new, and they even had really nice dishes, which was a great touch.The only issue was the shower curtain liner—it was ripped away from several of the hooks and had some mold staining along the bottom. Replacing it would be an easy fix and would make the bathroom feel much cleaner and better maintained.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the location and well-stocked kitchen!

Happy Trails was just we needed as a little home away from home after our long, fun-filled days fishing the local rivers. We were close to wherever we wanted to go in a walkable little neighborhood filled with big, beautiful trees and charming homes. And back at the house, we were well-equipped to hang out, make meals, have clean laundry, take hot showers, and be cozy in the very comfortable beds.

Perfect Getaway

This is the perfect little home for a getaway. We stayed here with another couple and it was perfect for us. The hosts were super kind and responsive to anything needed during our stay. We definitely recommend staying here!

Great house. Deer in the front yard when we arrived! Just a block off the main street in Cody. Really enjoyed our stay. Favorite of our 4 VRBO rentals.

We enjoyed our stay. House had everything we needed. It was clean and looked just as the picture showed. The house was on a nice quiet street, easily walkable to downtown. Would definitely stay there again.

Better than expected! The rooms were larger than I thought they’d be. The house was clean. The check-in process was seamless. Very close to everything, we walked to town, walked to the Rec Center and Library. Absolutely lovely home, would definitely stay again.

This was such a great place to stay. It had everything, including extra bath towels! We were on a hunting vacation so having a washer and dryer in the home was wonderful. very cute and spacious for 5 of us. Could have easily fit 8. We ended up asking to stay an extra day at the last minute and the host made that very effortless! Would love to stay here again.
