Welcome to “All Decked Out.” As the name implies, it’s all about sipping your favorite beverage on this home’s multiple wraparound decks.

This home is beach block so you’re only steps away from the sand. Enjoy a picturesque walk on pathways through Barnegat State Park to the water, or take the free beach tram that picks up visitors at the end of our block and shuttles them directly to a lifeguarded beach.

Loved ones won’t have to sleep on couches or futons during vacation in this home. “All Decked Out” has 6 spacious bedrooms with 5.5 bathrooms to accommodate up to 15 guests comfortably. 4 bedrooms have private deck access, and all 6 bedrooms have Roku TVs. Enjoy water views from new rooftop deck with hot tub.

Restaurants, museum, mini-golf, tennis, lighthouse, skate park, and more within close walking distance.

Amenities include: 10 beach badges, outdoor shower, washer/dryer, propane grill, central air, Wifi, 6 Roku TVs, beach chairs, beach cart, large driveway for up to 6 cars, 10 person dining table, and patio sets/chairs. Each bedroom has additional blankets and ceiling fan.

There is NO SMOKING allowed

Tenants provide their own linens and towels (bath and beach).

Great house, with en-suite bathrooms, great location with limited traffic. Front and back porches and numerous decks provide ample space to spread out.

Plenty of Space

Located in a quiet area that is an easy walk to the lighthouse, mini-golf, ice cream and sunsets on the bay. Lots of comfortable rooms with bathrooms. Plenty of space in the kitchen / dining great room.

A really great house with many things to love— it’s clean, beachy, well appointed and well stocked. The host was lovely and extremely responsive. The front porch and top deck are so nice and we ate dinner outside on the picnic tables every night which was great.The back screened porch is very nice, but even with the fans on it was way too hot for us to use (we were there in August). However, I am sure that there are many, many days where the weather is just perfect for it.We really enjoyed being able to walk into Barnegat Light. Potential guests should know the following:1. It really is a very far walk to the beach and not for the very young, very old or anyone with mobility issues. There is a beach trolley but we opted to walk and/or drive to 9th where there is much easier beach access and lifeguards. Beaches are gorgeous!2. Two of the bedrooms do not have closets.3. The full size bed is a bit smaller than a standard full size and is a really tight squeeze for two adults. For reference we’re a group of 12 adults and on a few nights we had friends over for dinner and were totally comfortable.Six cars can easily be parked in the driveway; more if you’re strategic about it. All in all, a great house and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thank you for the thoughtful review. Regarding the sunroom, it is brand new and we weren’t sure if it would be comfortable in the hot summer months with just fans. Based on the feedback of our guests, we will be installing AC in the room this fall. Thank you!

The Best Hosts!

The hosts, Heather & Jim, were incredible. Anything we asked they responded to immediately. The house was exactly as described. It is well stocked with loads of plates, pots & pans, silverware, spices, glasses, serving pieces, cooking utensils, etc. This was the best house we have stayed in at the NJ Shore in years and by far the best hosts! I highly recommend it.

Great for a big family

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and being near the lighthouse park. The area is more quiet than other parts of the island and we felt nice and secluded. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets almost every night and rode our bikes to get ice cream at Poppy’s afterwards. The house was a little musty but we aired it out as much as we could. It’s been renovated but still needs a little work. It had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms so we could all have our privacy at times. The kitchen/dining area had a giant reclaimed wood table that we thoroughly enjoyed our meals around, and the decks all around the house were great for coffee talk and afternoon happy hours. The beach is a bit of a walk on a sandy dune trail which is beautiful, but it was very difficult for our older family members to manage. We ended up driving further South to go to the beach most days for easier access. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would happily stay again.

Thank you for the positive review and even expressing interest in staying again. Also, thank you for taking the time to offer a detailed explanation privately of your recommendations for improvement. 1/ After inspecting the house following your departure, we noticed that a well-intentioned guest before you closed all of windows to the Yankee dug-out under the house. Unless left open, the chemical/musty smell of the pilings supporting the house permeate into lower level of house. We have opened the windows and left a note in Welcome Book instructing guests to leave those windows open, 2/ Your comments about home improvements was a little vague in the review so thank you for clarifying privately. Some of the screen doors came off the tracks and were tough to open (unbelievably we have 8 different sliders in the home) and our handyman fixed this weekend. You experienced a loose shower door during your stay but our handyman immediately repaired it during your stay. Finally, it was unnecessary for you to drive to a more southern part of the island to avoid a long walk. There is a free beach tram service that leaves every 15 minutes from our block to take guests directly to the life-guarded beach. These details were in the Welcome Book but we’ll make sure that they are more prominently highlighted for future guests. Have a nice summer!

We loved our stay at "All Decked Out"! It was the perfect house for our family reunion! We had many families staying at other locations at Barnegat Light, but all were super impressed with the house we rented. We loved that all beaches and "Old Barney" were within walking distance. We would love to stay again!

Family vacation and reunion

Everything was okay. A little crowded but we managed. (2 days of rain didn’t help). All in all great to be at the Jersey Shore.

Perfect for a big family trip

I rarely write reviews but felt compelled after staying at this wonderful home. James and Heather could not have been more helpful from the start. We had a multi-generational family vacation with ages ranging 2-70 and they answered every question we had along the way. The house itself is beautiful. The en-suite bathrooms were nice to give everybody some privacy, and every room had a balcony entrance which made moving around easy. The kitchen, kitchen table, and living room all have ample space for a large group, though you will be spending all of your 'home time' on the massive deck. A grill and a fully stocked kitchen made meals a breeze. The home provides beach chairs, umbrella, and a cart if you need it. The outdoor shower - with hot water - was perfect for rinsing off multiple kids at the same time. Huge driveway fit 5 cars for us but in reality could probably fit 8 if you tried. Barnegat Light itself is a beautiful, quiet town yet has a few restaurants and a grocery store to fill any last min needs. This is a place where you go to relax, not to party. There are a few ways to get to the beach. Walk thru the path thru the dunes (it is a beautiful walk), drive down a few blocks and park and walk, or what we found the easiest is to take the tractor which swings by every 10m or so and is just a few minutes ride to the beach. This was easiest for the elderly people in our group, and a novelty for the kids. The beach itself is huge, clean, and never felt crowded, even in July. Will be staying again, and would highly recommend this house.

Perfect family vacation

Everything from the check in/check out process to the local know-how provided by Heather and Jim was a dream. Barnegat Light was such a perfect little town with the beach, mini-golf, ice cream, and a state park all in easy walking distance for everyone. The house was lovely and comfortable and the magic drawer was such a kind touch. It was just a perfect vacation location!
