Beach Front Cottage - Lake Superior

Take a walk down the white sand of Lake Superior on 100 ft of your own private beach located 5 miles from the City of Marquette. Our quaint lakefront cottage features an open floor concept with a queen bed in the main bedroom and single bed in the second (sleeps a total of 3). The living room, dining area, and kitchen feature a pine interior and stone fireplace to give the property a rustic charm, complimenting the recently renovated bathroom and updated flooring. The cottage features a wrap around deck with patio furniture provided.

On site, you will have access to a washer & dryer unit, a television, WIFI, and a fire pit. Bed linens, towels, and beach towels will be provided. The kitchen is equipped with all of the essentials including a coffee maker.

Spend time enjoying your own quiet waters of Lake Superior or travel into Marquette to visit some of our favorite scenic views, including Sugarloaf Mountain or Presque Isle, and enjoy some of the local restaurants, such as Iron Bay Restaurant & Drinkery, or The Delft Bistro.

This was such a beautiful stay! Everything was so thought out and sweet, from the smores kit, all the linens you could need, EVERYTHING for a full kitchen. I’ve never had such a wonderful stay in any VRBO house. Thank you so much!!

Amazing location steps away from lake superior! We came 4th of July weekend and still had a basically private beach. Cabin was clean, has super comfy furniture, and exceeded our expectations. We loved our stay!

The prefect place to have a weekend getaway in the UP. A private escape that is centrally located to everything Marquette has to offer, plus a quick drive to Munising. The house was spotless and prepared with everything from drier sheets, comfortable bedding, lawn chairs, towels, s'mores supplies, firewood, etc. Can truly tell that the host puts care and thought preparing for his guests. The private beach was absolutely stunning. Would stay again in a heartbeat :)

Greg is a very responsive host. He replied to texts quickly, and was able to accommodate our request for assist with a cooler to use for our day trips. The property is very charming, lots of unique woodwork. The furnishings were comfortable, even without air conditioning. The entire cabin was impeccably clean- not one speck of dirt anywhere! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools/pans, there wasn’t anything we needed that they didn’t have. BUT- The understated part of this cabin is the 2 min walk over the backyard path to a private beach with amazing views. We hardly saw anyone on the beach. It was so relaxing! Everything was perfect- wouldn’t change a thing! Thanks Greg!

Perfect location, a quick 10 minute drive into downtown but also near a gas station and few other fast food places. The beach is gorgeous and the sunrises and sunsets were amazing. The home was perfect and well stocked! We will definitely stay again.

Clean, tidy, lots of space in this little cottage. Greg even provided us with a s’more kit upon our stay. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage. Host was very kind and attentive. Cottage was clean, laid out well. Kitchen was stocked well. The bed was soft and comfortable. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here.

Perfect Location

Me and my family loved our stay. We enjoyed the very secluded beach. The house was clean and offered enough room for my husband, myself and son. We will definitely seek to rent the property again in the future.

Beach was awesome!

We had a great time at this place! It had plenty of room for my two year old son to run around and the beach was amazing. It was hard to believe we were not on the ocean. Thanks for the great time!

We loved staying here. The house had everything that we needed, including decent pans for cooking which can be a gamble sometimes at rentals. Lake access was a short walk through the backyard. The beach was beautiful and sandy. The water was crisp and clear. The bed was very comfortable. It had a thick mattress pad on it which was very nice. It could be removed if you prefer a firmer bed. The house doesn’t have central ac but it has a window unit in the bedroom which was sufficient even when it was 100 degrees outside. The house has plenty of box fans as well. All the appliances were newer and in great condition. Having a washer and dryer was amazing.The only small drawback is the shower is small but it worked well enough but it could be a challenge if you’re a larger person.

Awesome little spot

Comfy beds and living room furniture. Great view with a nice path out to the beach. Neighbors were great. All the cooking stuff we needed. Best place to rest I've stayed in a long time.

It was so nice to get some much needed time with our Wildcat. The cabin, as we liked to refer to it was perfectly located and had everything to make us feel at home. We were even able to grill a birthday meal. Thank you again.

House was very clean and larger than I expected from the pictures. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The walk to the beach is short, and the beach is beautiful! You can wade out a good 150-200 feet before its waist deep. There are houses nearby, but my wife and I had our private stretch of beach all to ourselves, save for a few people beach walking. Greg had good communication and getting in and out of the house was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing beach cabin

Cute little cabin, makes a nice getaway. Very peaceful. It’s near a lot of stuff to do in Marquette and Munising, but you really don’t need to leave much cause it’s so nice there. The beach is really pretty. Made use of the fire pit, washer/dryer, and microwave. There’s no AC, but that wasn’t an issue when we went. The main bed felt a bit unstable and one of the lamps couldn’t turn off unless unplugged, but other than that everything is in good shape and worked great.

A slice of heaven in Marquette

This was a perfect location for two old guys from separate parts of the country to meet up and go to our alma mater at Northern Michigan University. The house/cottage is lovely and serene. We initially had some problems with the app that the customer Person resolved, and we were able to get in touch with our host, who was great. I highly recommend this to those who value fresh air, located right on Lake Superior
