Prickly Pear Desert Oasis- 3 Bedroom/Pool/Spa/Putting Green

Welcome to the Prickly Pear Desert Oasis. Home features a large great room that flows to the dining room/kitchen and out to the covered patio and large covered side yard. Enjoy the private pool, spa, putting green, gas fire pit and Cornhole for endless fun in the Arizona sun. At night, or if it's too hot out, we have board games, Karaoke Microphone and 2 TV's with Hulu live.

The large master suite includes a king bed, on suite bathroom and walk in closet. 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and 3rd bedroom has a Queen. A second full bathroom is situated between the bedrooms. A full size sleeper-sofa is located in the 1st living room area.

Kitchen is stocked with all that's needed to make a delicious meal, including a BBQ on the patio. Large dining room table, plus outdoor table and chairs. We have two TV's with Hulu live and a variety of games to keep you entertained. Full size washer and dryer is provided in the laundry room.

* Note the pool is not heated. It can be a bit cool during the Winter. During the summer, temperature typically stay around 85-90 degrees and feels wonderful.

Amazing stay for College Move in & 21st Celebration

My daughter, myself, her friend/roommate and mom stayed her for the weekend of moving them back into dorms and to have a nice place to stay and do a small celebration for my daughter's 21st birthday. It was so beautiful and we will stay there again for sure.

As advertised by Angie. Communication was outstanding and the property met our expectations easily. Coming from Wisconsin the hot tub was perfect. Location is fine and is pretty much within 30 min from anything you could possibly need. Thank you again for having us Angie.

Thanksgiving stay at Prickly Pear

The house was very nice. Angie was very responsive with an issue we had at the house. I would highly recommend the house and Angie. I would definitely stay at the Prickly Pear again. Angie was an excellent host.

Clean home

Overall, the house was very clean and had nice decor. It had several bedrooms and nice amenities. The main drawback was the loud AC unit.

Great place to spend time with Family

We loved our weekend at Prickly Pear. The home was clean and modern. Bathrooms and kitchens done well. Ceiling fans in all rooms and the three smart TVs were excellent touches. We had a great time spending quality family time with are son before we dropped him off at GCU.

Weekend stay for NFL game

This was the perfect home and location for a weekends stay to attend an NFL game. House is close to shops and restaurants, the zoo, and the Cardinals Stadium. Would recommend!

Home Full of Entertainment/Fun/Space

We all traveled out of state for a game at State Farm Stadium and glad we had an opportunity to secure this home.It was perfect before the game. A great shaded area to play corn hole and enjoy drinks. A hot tub, fire pit, mini put area and pool. Huge living room and kitchen.Beds were comfy, towels were set out for us. The house smelled good. The location was perfect. East to get to and from.We also were an 8 minute walk to Masons Sports Pub down the street which was a lot of fun to go to twice!

Beautiful home

An absolutely beautiful home for visiting arizona. The place was very spacious and provided the right amount personal space for the entire family. The backyard was set up nicely and it was easy to enjoy ourselves without having to leave the home every day. Angie was very responsive to any questions or needs we had. Definitely a repeat place to visit again.

Excellent location

We come for spring training and the location worked great for us. House looked to have just been updated inside. Very nice. Kitchen has more than enough pots and pans to cook. Will definitely stay here again.

Great place to unwind!

This place was perfect! It met all of our needs! The teens enjoyed some post-game aftercare in the hot tub, my 12 year old swam every day we stayed, and the adults enjoyed grilling and chatting on the patio. There were plenty of towels and the kitchen had everything we needed! We'll definitely stay here again!

Prickly Pear House - Nice house

Everything was very clean and our family was very comfortable in this house. Pool was very cold in March, but hot tub was nice for kids to warm up in. Hosts very polite and responsive.

Perfect Prickly Pear

The Prickly Pear home was absolutely perfect for our family visit. It was clean, bright, spacious, and so much fun! They've thought of everything. There's no getting bored with that back yard! Great location too. Everywhere we wanted to go was a 15 minute drive in every direction. Perfect!

Great place to stay for spring training!

Very large and comfortable home for our family to stay in during a visit to spring training. The pool is not heated so early spring, it's too cold to swim but the hot tub was lovely. Home was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Host was very responsive to questions. Would definitely recommend.

Home away from home

The house is so beautiful hope to stay there again. We had a great time with our ohana. The property mnager was great and very responsive. Only problem was the hot tub was broken. Because it was hot in Glendale it wasn't a big issue. Just after being at Disneyland for 4 days my feet and legs missed it. The pool was awesome and big enough for me to swim laps. Would Definitely Rent Again!

This was a great place for us to stay as we moved our 2 kids into college at GCU. Decor and space of home was very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure in showers was better than other places we have stayed in Phoenix. Pool was nice to have but a little on the warm side due to time of year. Owner was great to work with. Overall, it was perfect for us!

Oasis in the Desert

This property is a hidden gem. When we walked in we were met with the smell of a freshly cleaned house. The property manager was in communication with us the entire time and made the rental process so easy. The pool and Hot tub were such a treat after a long day at the softball fields. Our only regret was only having a few days to spend their. We have rented many properties and this one was one of the best.

Great Place for Many Occasions

We stayed for the Fiesta Bowl. The house comes with the pictured fun things to do, which was a major attraction for us. But the furnishings outweigh these. Top notch mattresses, pillows, coffee maker, supplies, etc, etc. If you are considering this place, just do it. Recommended by the HypnoToad

Super Bowl Experience

Well, the Eagles didn’t win the game, but scepter for that very important fact, our Super Bowl weekend was perfect. Our host had prepared our welcome with some some themed decorations and snacks. The house had everything necessary ... and more! It is a terrific base of operations for Phoenix exploring or just hanging out by the pool and fire pit. The furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We would definitely consider a return visit! Thanks, Angela!

Spring Training

This is a great house for friends/family to go to Spring Training. Quiet neighborhood. Short drive to restaurants. 15 minute drive to Mariner/Padres stadium. Angie was super helpful and responsive. Handicap accessible notes: 1 small step to front door and 1 small step to the back patio. 1 small step to walk-in shower. The built-in bench was too far from the shower head. We bought a cheap chair for under the water and left it in the master closet. We would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful Getaway

Awesome experience! Angie was great to communicate with and even surprised us with a couple box fans that we werent expecting. Not a big deal to some but my family doesnt travel anywhere without a fan and i asked her if they had any and she said no. I told her we will have to go buy some and donate them to the house but instead she had some delivered to us along with some extra blankets. The property was very clean and couldnt have been happier about that with plenty of room for us all! Every morning we would get up and go sit outside and i couldn't believe how peaceful and quiet it was! We would definitely stay here again. The property was close to alot of restaurants and grocery stores.

Wonderful and simple

We came to town for the George Strait concert and stayed 3 nights here. It was clean with plenty of space for family to come and hang with us. The pool was awesome for the adults that wanted to get in and the kids loved the diving board. Communication was easy as pie simply because we didn't have to communicate with the host because everything was put in the book or on the signs around the house. Beds were amazing and plenty of extra blankets and towels provided in the master closet. Pool towels provided was a nice touch as well. We did run out of propane but they had two extra bottles in the garage ready to go so thank you for that! If I had one improvement I would suggest getting a new skimmer for the pool so guys like me who float around and like to clean the pool can do that from the tree that's dropping the yellow flowers in but that didn't change the experience whatsoever. Thank you for hosting an amazing place, when we come back for another event this will be where we stay.

Family Fun in the Sun

Our family visited as part of a week-long, Spring Break getaway. From beginning to end, communication with Angie was prompt and professional. She provided us with the link to the Welcome Book prior to our travels which made our stay even more convenient. We were most excited to try some of the local fare recommended by the hosts, and Barrio Queen did not disappoint! Yum! Check-in (and check-out) was effortless, which is always appreciated after a long day of travel. Upon entering the home, we were greeted with the delightful scent of cleanliness! From a self-proclaimed neat freak, this home is IMMACULATE! Beds are plush and linens are fresh. Plenty of towels for bathroom use, as well as pool towels. Community spaces are large and inviting. Home decor is modern and tasteful. The beautiful kitchen is stocked with all the essentials making meal prep a breeze. Burgers and brats cooked up well on the outdoor grill. We especially enjoyed the pool, hot tub, putting green, and Ms. Pac-Man video game. We visited a number of golf courses during our stay, and most were within a 20-30 minute drive from the property. We also drove into Phoenix and Scottsdale for shopping, food, disc golf, and hiking. Highly recommend this property for families looking for private retreat in a quiet neighborhood. So thankful for our Prickly Pear getaway!
