Great place

Had a great family trip! Communication was quick with any questions house was great! Kids loved the hot tub and game area with ping pong and pool table. Rented a boat as well all was smooth boat was there when we arrived and they picked back up for us at the end of our stay. Hot tub was very welcoming after the day on the lake and the walk back up all the steps!

The check-in process was simple and smooth! All communication from the property management came in ample time to plan out our arrival and departure. The property was clean and well kept with all linens, kitchen necessities and amenities that you could ask for. The simplicity of having a boat available and at the property upon arrival was amazing! We are thankful for such a great trip and property to accommodate a big group!

Fabulous week at the lake.

Gunner was great to work with. Very responsive. House was great and kitchen well equipped. Pontoon rental was also great and was awesome it was right at the dock at the house dso we didn’t have to hassle with a marina rental. Overall great week and would stay again!

Great property! Great location!

We loved the property and location! The house is amazing and actually WAY bigger in person than it looks in the pictures on VRBO. The stairs down to the lake are no joke…we are early 50s so really appreciated the deck 1/2 way up to catch your breath…LOL. Would’ve loved to have the option to pay for the electric ramp that the neighbors were using!!

Excellent location, beautiful house

This house was wonderful. Tons of space for our 6 adults. Master suite was amazing! Windows made us feel like part of the lake. Loved being close to Marina and having our boat at the house. The stairs are a lot, but not that big of a deal. Host was super responsive. We would come back for sure.

Very well stocked home with beautiful decor! Best stocked kitchen we’ve seen, with lots of dishes, utensils, & a great variety of cooking utensils, pots, and pans. Dock was very nice and we really appreciated the delivery and pickup of the boat. Biggest negative was the sloping concrete before the steps to the back of the house. It sloped off to the side and there was a bigger first step going up to the house. Was a bit treacherous. Gunner was very responsive and a great host!!

Relaxing stay

Pictures are accurate. Clean and spacious. Check in process easy. We enjoyed every second of the pool table and hot tub. The master bathtub is HUGE! We experienced a little snow and ice and didn’t feel safe leaving the house for a couple of days due to not having a vehicle to handle these conditions on the road the house is on (steep). I know this is a rare occurrence but just wanted to put it out there. Without snow/ice my Camry was fine on the roads around the house. We spent the majority of our time on the bottom floor. Used the grill and it worked great.

House was awesome! The host gunner was even better with his great communication. He was on it! Place could have been a little cleaner. I could have made art in the dust that was on the table in the master bedrooms bathroom. Smashed dead fly on the wall in master bathroom. Found a large dead bug next to couch in master bedroom. Someone's laundry was left on shelf behind washer and dryer. Found random trash around property. Landscaping definitely needs some attention. I will warn everyone. The steps down to the dock is crazy. Wish renters had access to the trolly that was right next to our steps. Im 50 and in decent shape I thought until you make this climb. Good thing you have rest spots on way up. Carrying a cooler up and down these steps is absolutely brutal. But they are in pics and I made the choice to rent so that's on me. Just a warning. Also the concrete slab is sloped heavily when you step off first round of steps on way down. So dont roll and ankle. Location isn't close to much. The good. The house layout is perfect. The lake is always awesome! The house comes with plenty of stuff to do. With the dart board, hot tub, pool table, ping pong and Foosball. We have stayed at norris lake multiple times and this has been our favorite cove. Stayed in this cove twice now. Cove was quiet. A hammock outside on top deck would be a nice addition. And maybe an outdoor shower. Kitchen is well stocked, gunner the host needs a raise! The available boat rental was perfect.

Our stay was wonderful. Our mornings started off with making a breakfast with a fully furnished kitchen and our evenings were grilling on the back deck with a view of the beautiful lake. We spent everyday on the lake either boating, fishing, kayaking or sunbathing at the dock. We caught several species of fish from small to large. Our household members enjoyed the pool table/ping pong rooms very much during the stay. Our last night ended with a fire in the fire pit area under the stars while we enjoyed each other's company.

The homeowner was very helpful and easy to get ahold of. The house clean. The dock was perfect. The marina was close. It was a perfect spot for my family.

We loved our stay there. Property was very nice!

We really liked the house, only down fall which we knew was the steps to the lake. Hot tub was a great add on which we enjoyed along with the deck out back! Beds where comfortable and the house stayed nice and cool!!

Great Lake house

We had a great relaxing time at this house. Be prepared for LOTS of steps to the dock, but the covered deck off the kitchen was our favorite spot!

Great property!

Perfect secluded cove, wonderful dock and the pontoon rental was top notch. Allowed us to explore the lake further than our last visit to Norris. 10/10 would recommend.

Satisfied, exercised, and slightly disappointed...

The house and the amenities within were great. Very clean, stocked, loads of entertainment, and great for out group. The steps, which we knew about coming into this, were a challenge to some, and definitely a workout to all. The only disappointment we had was with the dock and the jacuzzi areas. There was no power on the outlets or the lights, so that we could enjoy these things at night. Especially since we had two paddle boards, two towable, and a island float to blow up. Had to be done at the house and carried down the steps. Then back up to deflate fully. So all in all, in was a great trip for us, and I would recommend. Just be mindful, that trips to the dock and back need to be well thought out.
