Hello, We are disappointed to read that you felt the property was lacking in both supplies and knowledge. Please know our ground's crew is accutely aware of all issues pertaining to each o f our properties. Regarding the available supplies, we do send our guests notice upon booking of what amenities are provided and make note that this is to be considered a "starter kit." We share this information in order to provide transparency and allow our guests the opportunity to prepare accordingly for their upcoming getaway. Hello Andrew, We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to share additional points of reference. The bed is confirmed to be a queen bed. The wood on the balcony is to fuel the fireplace and keep the unit at a comfortable temperature. Unfortunately, the warmer temps result in increased snowmelt, frequently exposing rubbish that was previously buried. The reported dog food (one kibble) and wet spots (from spot cleaning) were overlooked; however, when we offered to have housekeeping return to the unit, their services were declined. As mentioned previously, the heat source for this unit is from the wood-burning stove and should not require additional heating from the living room wall heater. Hello Amy, Thank you for sharing your experience and we are sorry to hear you had troubles with the upstairs neighbors and mattress! We have reported the uncomfortable bed to the homeowner, so we may have resolution for our future guests. It seems we did not receive notice of the noise from the upstairs neighbors. We do have a 24/7 emergency line available, especially for noise complaints. Quiet hours do start at 10 pm, so any time after that it is a violation, and we would have loved the opportunity to reach out and handle the issue during your stay. We apologize for the boarded up windows and limited sunlight; however, with the record-breaking snowfall, the town was limited on snow removal - most seasons this is not the case.
