Incredible place with easy access to the beach, pool and green space. Communication was excellent. The house was even larger than it looks in the pictures. We'd definitely recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay at Cottages at Romar, Southern Splendor. The house is roomy- perfect for two families and a set of grandparents- with room to spare! Internet worked well while we were there. Meagen was very responsive with all of our needs. The neighborhood is our favorite, with easy pool and beach access, and we won’t stay anywhere else in Orange Beach.

Perfect location and size for our extended family! While a bit smaller and less deep than expected, the pool area was beautiful and an excellent break from the beach. The amazing white sands of the gulf were steps away from the property. My family loved this place and all agreed, we would love to rent it again on another trip!

The house location was amazing offering a pool steps from the house and a very easy short walk to the beach. We had plenty of room for our family of 9 with all teens and adults having their own bathroom. The kitchen/living area was spacious and gave us room to lounge and play games. If you family is heavy on the data/internet use the complex sits in a bit of a celluar dead spot as we found trying to map directions to attractions - but it would come back up once we left the complex. Bring your own beach towels and beach accessories.

You’ll be glad you booked!

The house is big, clean, spacious, and inviting! Beyond that- the location is ideal 2 min walk to the beautiful beach! The pool the house shares is big and great for families. We enjoyed the stay so much and would absolutely rent again if we came to Orange Beach again!

The Best!

We stayed the month of February, 2018 and couldn't have been more pleased. The cottage was in a perfect area, was extremely clean and well maintained. The 0wner was so accomodating , we hope to go back possibly next year.'

This vacation was perfect. The home was beautiful and clean. Pool was a hit with all 13 of us! The weather and beach was wonderful. We got up every morning for the beautiful sun rise! When we come back to Orange Beach I would love to stay here again.

Another Fun Week at Southern Splendor

Perfect Vacation Spot

Southern Splendor was a perfect vacation spot for our family of 16. There was plenty of room for us to gather for meals, playing games or just sitting and visiting with everyone. The patio was great to enjoy morning coffee and relaxing. The property managers were wonderful to work with and were very good about responding to any questions or issues you might have. We all throughly enjoyed our beach vacation!

Perfect location and home

Our family of 14 stayed in Southern Splendor for 6 nights and it was such a wonderful experience. The home was so spacious yet everyone had their own space to go to! The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need to fix meals and a huge refrigerator/freezer. We loved the deck overlooking the beautiful pool. The home is just a short walk to the beach so very handy. The owners were so kind and quick to reply to a couple small questions we had. We would definitely recommend this home!

Return rental

The community is perfect for all ages and has an amazing pool for little ones. The kitchen was better equipped this year as well as basic cleaning essentials. We were at then end of the season so as expected the upholstery looked like then end of the season as well as the only rug in the house. But I think it was a great week at this lovely home
