Very relaxing, cozy cottage. The shower was hot. The fridge and pantry were well stocked with breakfast foods, snacks and drinks. And the view!!! My gosh, on a pretty day the sunset is breathe taking. Very close to the airport too if you're flying.

We were looking for a little bit of our own Puget Sound home whilst staying near our eldest who was having a significant surgery. We’re from Seattle and Tacoma originally but had to move away for work almost a decade ago. What a wonderful cozy haven! Penny and Doug talked us through the final driving directions by phone (don’t entirely believe Maps— ours said the property was on our right. It is really on the left or uphill side once you reach the actual street). We were thrilled to discover a neighborhood that feels very like the PNW of our own childhoods 50 years ago. The cottage is wonderfully equipped and included fruit, yogurt, eggs and other essentials to help us settle in. The water pressure in the shower is great. The views (helped by a wonderful late September stretch) are lovely and the walk to the Three Tree Point Store (coffee and wine bar) is very worth taking down the blue staircase. We bbq’d for our kiddo and kid-in-law one evening and the four of us were extremely comfortable. Thank you Penny and Doug! We hope to return in the not-too-distant future.

Great time away!

Our time at the cottage was great! We loved that there were always breakfast items available and the host was so nice. It was clean, nice, and the best stocked place we've stayed.

Our host Penny was super sweet and welcoming. The property was absolutely beautiful. The View of Mt. Rainier was stunning. She provides basic breakfast necessities which was nice. Cozy comfy and clean.

That View!!!

My husband and I stayed at this location as part of our anniversary trip and it did not disappoint. The hospitality was top notch and the view is breathtaking. We will be staying here next time we are in the area.

Nice Staycation

Welcome place of rest

We loved this place and we will be back!! Beautiful views such lovely hosts and just a wonderful spot to get away yet close to everything - beach, cute shops great restaurants and even the airport! The place is very well equipped and stocked with everything you need you can tell these are long time hosts who care about their guests - did I mention the stunning views??

Wonderful stay

Just what we needed. A peaceful weeklong stay outside the hustle and bustle of Seattle. The cottage was wonderfully appointed, just as the listing said, and Penny and Doug (hosts) were wonderful. Very attentive to our needs but allowed us the privacy to enjoy the serenity of the area.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Very good communication with the host. The cottage is charming and very clean, with water views from every angle. Lovely and peaceful. The kitchen was stocked with delicious breakfast items. There was a suggested breakfast menu and ingredients for us to make that happen. Great idea. If you are a coffee lover, this is your place. Fresh beans from Storyville Roasters and every possible way to brew. We didn't try the hot tub. It was a chilly week, so we weren't outside much, but we hope to return for another stay in warmer weather. Great location. We love Burien. Thanks for making us feel at home Penny!

Gorgeous view and cozy suite for a romantic getaway

My partner, dog, and I loved our stay. We were very comfortable and Penny was very kind and accommodating. We admired the waterfront from the hot tub, enjoyed the short walk down to the beach, and binged a show by the fireplace. It was perfect for a romantic getaway.
