Alki Beach Bungalow

Come stay at our refurbished 1910 Beach Bungalow on Alki Point. It has all the modern amenities and comfort while maintaining its old world charm. Our master bedroom with a queen bed has an attached exercise changing room that can be used as a third bedroom, with a queen or twin aero bed and linens.
Our bungalow has a unique feature. The second bedroom with a queen bed and T.V. is downstairs. It has its own seprate entrance along with a bathroom, sitting room and office area.
This is perfect for two couples. Due to limited space there are no bathtubs in either of the bathrooms, showers only. Our bungalow is surrounded by a beautiful flower garden that was featured in the 2003 West Seattle Garden tour. View the garden from the front porch or around back on our custom built deck, where you will find a hot tub, table and chairs, built in fish pond and lots of afternoon sun. A great place for sunbathing, entertaining or just relaxing with a good book.

Beach combing, birding, kayaking, sunsets, with views of the Olympics and Mount Rainier can be found on the beach three blocks to the south. Three blocks to the north puts you right in the middle of all the action on Alki Beach, with its sandy beach, boardwalk, bike path, restaurants and shops. This is a very popular beach, perfect for people watching, romantic walks, beautiful sunsets and city views.

The bus line is a half a block away from the bungalow that will take you to downtown Seattle or catch the free water taxi shuttle at the bus stop down on Alki at the bus stop next to Starbucks, it will take you to the Water Taxi. You will enjoy a short ride across Elliot Bay to the Downtown Waterfront where you can easily walk to the Public Market, Stadiums, Pioneer Square, Convention Center, Theaters, and much more.

Return after a full day to our bungalow with all its comforts of home:
Hot tub, LED flat screen TV, full kitchen, pillow top queen size beds, and much more, are all here to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Great comfortable house with lots of extras such as herbs and spices, coffee and olive oil. The garden is very peaceful and a terrific deck. We had a car for part of our stay and appreciated the bus at the end of the street, although it is a bit of a hike to downtown. Great neighbourhood and hosts were very flexible re check in and check out times.

Wonderful stay at alki beach bungalow

The house was lovely with artwork done by one of the owners The house was spacious with comfy beds and the best stocked kitchen that I've ever seen! The gardens were beautiful and we had fun every day feeding the Koi in the small pond The hot tub was a bonus too! I highly recommend this beautiful bungalow!The owners were always available and very kind and generous !

Gorgeous Gardens!

We stayed in mid-April and were truly impressed by the beautiful garden. Relaxing on both the back deck and front porch was a highlight of our visit. The hot tub was exceptional—one of the best I’ve experienced. The home was thoughtfully stocked, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.

Beautiful Beachy Bungalow

The whole family enjoyed this bungalow as home base for our Seattle vacation. We loved being able to retreat from the city center to the much calmer vibe of west Seattle. The place had the perfect layout for everyone to stretch their legs. We walked and biked to the beach many times. Took the free shuttle at 63rd and Alki to the west Seattle water taxi pier for a beautiful ferry ride to downtown! The porch was perfect in the evenings! Hosts were gracious. Wonderful stay!

A perfect place to stay!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at your bungalow. We enjoyed spending time at Alki beach and were close to everything else we wanted to do in Seattle. The house was a great place to hang out, from the koi pond to the hot tub to the well equipped kitchen, we couldn’t have asked for a better place. We had a wonderful Christmas here!

Superb bungalow and amazing location

Adorable property in a wonderful location. Convenient access to both beach community and downtown Seattle. We walked everywhere, minutes to restaurants at Alki Beach. Local free shuttle that takes you to ferry to downtown Seattle.

This home is so special! The decor is wonderful and split level design allows for privacy for 2 couples with beautiful grounds for shared outdoor time. We loved the area! So quiet and access to walking along the shore of the Sound was amazing. Owner was very friendly and helpful. We plan to come back on another occasion!!

Perfect Place in Alki

This beautiful home was the perfect place to spend a few days in Alaska before our Alaskan cruise. Every detail was thought of and this peaceful getaway couldn’t have been more relaxing. Walking distance to everything from food to beautiful water views. We will be back!!

A Must Stay in Seattle

No matter what your plans are for your Seattle trip, this home is the ticket for your comfort and convenience while you take in all Seattle has to offer. The home was immacualte and comfortable. Great stay in Alki!

Pam was great and the house set up was perfect. We traveled with friends and one couple enjoyed upstairs while we took the downstairs so our son could use the pullout couch. Hot tub was wonderful, house was comfortable and we really felt right at home. Thank you!

Perfect vacation spot

The bungalow was perfect for us! The house was spotless and everything that we needed was available. We loved the koi pond and beautiful gardens on the property. The location was a short walk to the beach. We walked along the beach each morning and saw beautiful sunsets at night! The neighborhood was quiet even though it was not far from the beach. The local restaurants were also great. The host was available if needed and recommended things to do during our stay . Great stay!

Great location and amenities at the cottage!

The owners have thought of everything that a person might need while staying there. We appreciated all the little extras and the cute and fun decor everywhere you look. One thing I would suggest for future guests is to provide some transit materials (bus line, link train, water taxi, etc) just to make it easier for newbies to figure out how to get around at first without having to use the more expensive options like taxis and Uber. Thank you so much for a wonderful and comfortable stay!

Great Place

Beautiful home in a neighborhood with lots of cool architectural history! The water taxi only takes about 10 minutes to get to by cab, and you can access the whole downtown area via water taxi which made things pretty convenient. The owners were very friendly, and accommodating when I told them that I'd be getting in late! The whole property is really quite beautiful with lots of well maintained landscaping, although a lot of it was dormant at the time I was there just due to the time of year.

Cozy getaway

Pam asked us who was staying so she could tailor the trip. With separate upstairs and downstairs entrances, the backyard feels like part of the living space, including the koi by the car and the hot tub on the deck. She made up a twin bed off the upstairs bedroom for our daughter, who also delighted in the Halloween decorations and small notes. We're from the area, and so, we loved the access to Alki, the easy cruise up to the Junction, the time at Whale Tail park and Schmitz Park, and the neighborhood cats who greet everyone. Also, floor heating is the *best* in the Seattle weather.
