Good place to stay

Upstairs room had 2 beds an no bathroom. Dining area was small. Plenty of room for gathering. Good kitchen area. Steep driveway was mentioned in original listing... and they mean it!

Excellent Weekend in Talladega

nice house, clean and easy to get to. Speedway was about 35-40 minutes which was not a bad drive at all. There is no door dash and the nearest grocery store is about 15-20 minutes away. Overall the property was very nice.

The short answer is don't rent this place.

We arrived late after 17 hour drive. found the bare minimum supplies at the home, like hangers... none exiting, none anywhere. How do you hang gowns and suits on the floor. there were no microwavable dishes. the dishes all had metal around the rim which caused sparks in the microwave. the handle on microwave was broken off. The dishwasher didn't work at all, There were no light in the bedrooms, except the ceiling fan light. no reading lights. one bed room had no furniture. no place to put any thing. The listing said it would house 10 but there were only 4 chairs in the whole place. The living room was missing a lot of furniture. there was one sofa that would hold 6. When we asked for assistance from the owner he was arrogant and said not to worry about the problems he would fix them after we left. This is why I would rather stay with a company that knows hospitality.

We have inspected these items and are making the necessary repairs and/or replacements to ensure they are in good working condition. Regarding the furniture and lighting, we do provide ample furniture and lighting throughout the property. The property listing accurately reflects the number of chairs and beds in the property. However, we apologize if this did not meet your specific needs. We strive to provide excellent customer service to all of our guests, and we regret that you felt our communication was unsatisfactory. We do take our guests' concerns seriously and work to address them as quickly as possible. We appreciate your feedback and hope that future guests will find our property to be a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Wedding weekend

Our family stayed at this home for my daughter’s wedding. It was spacious enough to hold our large family. Although we spent little time at the house it suited our needs. It was clean and we’ll stocked.

The property was well cleaned but advertising needs updating

We really enjoyed ourselves on our girls trip. But it was advertised that there is a garage but when we arrived we were told that we couldn't use it because it was being used for storage. There were several wasp nest on the front porch and we were not informed of the very steep driveway until we arrived. There needs to be some type of handrail install, my niece is afraid of heights and my sister is 70, it's was hard getting them in and out up and down. Other than that ALL was great.

fantastic house with all the creacture comforts.

The house is very nice and clean. There is a nice screened in porch with a gas grill, a nice kitchen with everything we needed to prepare and serve meals, wifi, and several TVs around the house. We did not watch any tv but I know there was some sort of streaming service. The neighborhood was fairly new and a quiet area. We were there for the Indy car races at Barber speedway and the house was less than 20 minutes from Barber and Bass ProShop. I recommend staying here to anyone.

Not clean

The house was lovely, location was nice/safe. But after we settled in some- we discovered that the cleaning crew was less then ok. We found cooked bacon on a cookie sheet & the grease had actually began to mold. Then we also found the dishes in the dishwasher and they were dirty. Unsure how long they had been there but it smelled. The floors were also dirty. I would have never complained or mentioned anything about the floors but when I told the company we found that the kitchen was filthy, they were less then impressed with our concerns- in fact, they didn’t seem to believe us, even though I sent pictures and they ended the correspondence by saying “what do you want us to do”. Even though on the rude side, they did respond to us in a timely manner. Also advertised games, a pool & a kids playground. None of which were there & again there response to us was less then helpful or respectful ( Because of the proximity of the playground to the pool, It’s probably not safe to use the playground while construction is happening to the pool. We mainly cater to adults with our properties and listings. With that being said, we do not restrict children from staying in our properties, but we do not provide (or advertise) any entertainment, play equipment or toys. There is a nice park that is not too far away from the property. ) but if you look at the pictures from the listing and description- games, pool & playground are advertised. ) Aside from this, it was a very comfortable house. We enjoyed our stay despite this and would actually rent here again if we ever had the need to go to Alabama. New cleaning crew & new rental company to deal with any issues & this house is a gem!

Definitely a great place to stay. Everything was clean. Easy check in and out.

The area is beautiful and the folks are nice. Very clean and quiet neighborhood. Easy check in and out. Great stay for any type of group even with kids. Patio area was most enjoyable being that it’s screened in

Very Nice & Clean Home

We stayed at this location for our cousins getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed the home! Everything was nice and clean. We purchased food from the Publix in a nearby city, cooked, and had food delivered via doordash. It was very convenient to us cause we decided just to chill, relax, and spend time together as family. I would say a few things I would change is maybe have a kitchen table in the kitchen so there can be more seating for eating . There was a 4 piece dinette table available though. I also would add some furniture in the orange room where people can put there belongings on or in a drawer if needed. The yellow room was fully furnished and very nice with dressers and a tv. The master bedroom was fully furnished I would just add a tv in case people didn’t want to go to the living room to watch tv. The room upstairs was nice as well I would add a tv and dresser for people to put their belongings. Overall the home was very nice and we would definitely stay there again. The response time was very quick. If I had a question, there was always a quick response. Wonderful home!
