Great Place

The property was very clean and well suited for 5 people to stay in. It was easy to get to and the manager communication was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

The house was pleasant. You can tell the neighborhood is going through soe changes. Everything was there as advertised. It is close to Barber Race track which was convenient for us.

We had a race weekend at Barber. There was close, , easy access to the track. House had plenty of room. Kitchen well equipped (even had spices available). Quiet neighborhood

Central Location

I have stayed at numerous VRBO properties, and this one stands out in terms of the rapid response/communication of the owners and their willingness to accommodate guests. The property was clean, and was the most well-stocked property I've ever seen. My adult children, their spouses and two children were all in Birmingham to visit extended family for Christmas, and enjoy activities and restaurants in the city. No matter where we went, the drive was only 12- 15 minutes away, making this a prime location for exploring the city.

Excellent vacation rental

My family, along with two others, met in Birmingham for a fun weekend together. The house was perfect for our needs. It was located close to everything we wanted to do, had plenty of room and the kids loved the air hockey table! We did have an issue with the A/C not working but I emailed the hosts about it and they had someone there within 30 minutes and got it working again. All in all, a great stay and someplace we would happily stay again.

Accommodating, Nice, Spacious

Beautiful Home, Great Location

House looks exactly like pictures. It had some essential spices, soda, k cups and water available. It was very clean! The neighborhood was quiet. The only thing I would let future renters know if that 2 bedrooms are downstairs and there are a lot of steps. You can tell time and money were invested into this home to make it nice and comfy. It is close to interstate and a Walmart!

Amazing Stay

This trip was to visit my daughter, a UAB student for her birthday weekend. The home is exactly as pictured. Very spacious and clean. Neighbors were polite and everything we needed was available. Owner/Manager was available immediately when we had questions. My daughter wanted a “home cooked” meal and all cooking needs (minus food) was available. We will be back at this property when visiting as a family.

Outstanding home. The host made the experience nice and very relaxing. The host went above and beyond to honor my request. If you truly want a first class experience and have an opportunity to be put first then this is the right place for you.

Exactly as Described!

This is a really nice place. It was exactly as pictured and quite spacious. The master tub and shower are lovely, the kitchen is well equipped, and all the bedrooms are comfortable. We enjoyed the air hockey table and the theater area. We weren't planning to watch a movie but felt compelled to because of the comfy seats. I liked that Netflix was available without me having to sign in myself. This house is impeccably clean, and we enjoyed the little extras like water bottles, Sprite, Keurig pods, creamer, and a bottle of wine. A few reviews mention concerns about the area in which the house is located. It is true that we would endeavor not to go walking around the surrounding area, but the actual location of the house is okay. When we were there it was very quiet, and the neighbors were friendly. It is an older neighborhood. One thing to note is that this house does not really have a backyard. If you are looking for a place to sit on lawn chairs and enjoy the outdoors, you will be disappointed. There is a deck with some patio furniture. It is a wooded area that could be pretty buggy in the summer. Really, the only critique I have is that we would have liked a larger dining table. The one there now seats four, and there are four stools at the bar. It worked fine for us, but it would have been great if our whole party could have been seated at the same table. We would definitely rent this again.

Ranch on 77th

For the most part it was a pleasant stay. Neighborhood is not to desirable, but we experienced no problems. The bedroom with 2 beds could use a mattress upgrade. For some reason the air didn’t work for a couple of days, but the outdoor temperature was pleasant.

Perfect for our Team accommodations

So many things to say! This property is very well-appointed and one of the best homes I've stayed in with VRBO. Everything was accounted for and did not have any issues (except the front door is a little tricky, but easy once you get a good relationship with it!). Never had to contact the owner, they communicated everything we needed to know, before we had to ask! The two separate lounging areas were great to give separate space when people needed it. Proximity to the airport is a huge plus, when time was tight, knowing we were only 10 min away was big. Surprisingly we did not hear any planes! For the World Games in July, this home tucked away from the hubbub in a nice working-class neighborhood would work very well. Most World Games venues are within 15 minutes (without traffic). Oh and that Master shower, delightful!

Family stay

Great little get away while visiting our daughter at college. Plenty of room for everyone and it was very clean! The basement was perfect for our teenage daughter to hang out in while the adults had their space upstairs.

Short weekend stay

The home itself was amazing. The location was not what I expected. We spent most of our time inside, enjoying the amenities. However, this is not a neighborhood I would be comfortable taking a walk in or enjoying the outside.

Great Place for a Getaway!!!

We stayed here for a girls weekend and had a wonderful time. The house is so cute and spacious and we enjoyed our time there. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

Great gathering spot

The property was clean and set up well for my grown children and myself to stay for an out of town wedding. Everyone had their own room and the layout of the house was great for everyone to gather. It was close enough for other family members who stayed at hotels to stop by and visit. The house was very clean and had all the basics to make our stay pleasant.

Clean with good accommodations

This house was clean, with easy check in/out and well appointed (coffee, air hockey, recliners, newer interior/bathrooms). Could be closer to the action downtown but it is close to airport.
