This was our 4th year staying at this property. We love the location, as it’s close to all of the things we want to do. The home has so much room for us to spread out in. We were so happy to stay here again and look forward to next year.

Host cancelled literally 10 mins before my arrival, supposedly due to some furniture issues. We had a party of 6 from 3 different states. Tried to contact host to find a resolution and they just refused to communicate.

Apologies for your poor experience. We could not control that a previous renter literally destroyed the place before you showed up. It could not be repaired in time. not something we could control either.

Our stay here was so lovely! It was spacious, even with our group of 6 people, and the highlight of our trip was definitely the creek out back.

This beautiful home offers a large yard, a beautiful creek, the most wonderful mattresses on the beds, and the kitchen oh the kitchen....you will want to buy groceries just to cook here! The kitchen is marvelous! We loved this property so much that we are going to plan a getaway just to come here for a few days! I really cant say enough about this property! You have to see it to believe it!!

Nice Place

We enjoyed our stay. It was just a pit stop to break up a long trip. We only stayed one night but everything appeared to be in good working order. It was clean and comfortable.

Our third stay and we still love this home!

We plan our vacation around when this home is available. We have a lot of family in the area and we enjoy staying a week here each summer. This home is just as described and the location is lovely. The owner is wonderful at responding to any questions quickly. As soon as you step through the door, you feel like you are home.

Family vacation

This is our second time staying at this home. It is a perfect fit for our family vacation. Each person has their own room and space to spread out. The yard is lovely and the location is close to everything we need. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions we had. We look forward to staying here again next summer!

Beautiful property

The property is beautiful. They do need to treat for bugs but it’s the woods so wasn’t too worried about them. The decor is like staying with grandma out of town. Super cozy and cute. We will make a trip back soon. Thank you for the hospitality.

Honeyside Creek

The house is beautiful. The neighborhood is peaceful. Love the creek behind the house. The only issue - we had bugs, looked like cockroaches with wings multiple times (maybe this is an Alabama thing). There were bugs in the bathroom off the bedroom upstairs.

Just What We Needed

We brought our 2 year old for Monster Jam in Birmingham this weekend with both sets of grandparents. This house was perfect for us as everyone had bathroom access when needed and their own rooms. The property manager was very responsive when I had a question. Price was extremely reasonable. We truly enjoyed our stay! We didn’t have much time to enjoy the creek and other amenities with the property as we weren’t there long enough, but it was beautiful!

The house is very beautiful and homey. However when we got there there were dirty dishes in the sink, beer cans in the front flower bed, the utensils on the counter are dirty with food on them and the refrigerator was dirty and the last night there while in the shower the power went out in the bathroom and bedroom downstairs. I tried to message the host about the issues and got no response.

Wonderful Family Weekend

This is a treasure of a house! We greatly enjoyed our comfortable stay while visiting family in the area. I had made food in advance and frozen it, and we were able to heat everything up in the oven to enjoy. The kitchen felt like being at home. It was quite chilly outside during our stay, but the house was cozy and warm. Our dog loved the mostly-fenced yard to get to run each day. If you have little adventurers, know that Turkey Creek is in the backyard and will require monitoring. The beds were comfortable and having 3 bathrooms was a dream! We will love returning if ever given the opportunity! The beds

Review

The property is in a good and quiet neighborhood. Upon arrival I noticed there was laundry in the washing machine. Candy wrappers on the master bathroom counter. No remote for the only tv in the home. The creek was more interesting.

Several electrical outlets did not work. In including front and back porch lights. Twin sized bed so uncomfortable. Granddaughter did not rest. Paint peeling on front and back porch. Musty smell inside house. Only one set of towels per bathroom. Also, towels and washcloths are type used for carwash. Not used for bathing. Jets not working in garden tub. Obvious this home needs refresh to meet vrbo expections. Obviously used for wedding accommodations only.
