About this space
Cozy little house in a quiet and family-oriented neighborhood with a big back yard and a nice setting to enjoy an outdoor BBQ looking at the golf course. Very close to prime shopping, popular restaurants, and the zoo. South Padre Island and SpaceX are also close by. This one bedroom house was completely renovated in 2021. Everything is neat and new. A/C units with heat as well as ceiling fans in every room and a 58" Smart TV / WiFi. Parking on the property next to the house. Se Habla ESPANOL
The space
La Casita is very cozy and is located in a peaceful place. It features everything new, form ceiling fans, to kitchen appliances, to A/C with heat to washer and dryer as well as furniture.

The patio / backyard has everything you need to spend quiet time while cooking on the BBQ grill. The outdoor ambient lights will make a perfect scenario to enjoy the evening.
Guest access
Access to shared swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym.
Other things to note
There are USB ports in the kitchen by the stove and also on the back of the end table in the living room.

Moreover, there is a body of water near by. Please have an adult to be supervising the children at all the time while playing in the backyard.

This has been my go to spot for many years, so it hurts to give it this rating. This time was much different than the rest. There were bugs on the bed, and in the bedroom. When I arrived the house smelled of moisture and damp inside. Once we tuned the air up higher it was good. The restroom had a trail of ants running up the side. Someone left a bag of food in the fridge and a dead bouquet of flowers on the table. The most worrisome were the bugs on the bed that looked like nats or fleas on the top bedcover. This place is in a prime location and I love the views of the birds and the Laguna. It has always been exceptional stay except for this time.

Gorge and the casa were wonderful

Gorge and I chatted a minimum of a month a head of time, his recommendation of places to shop and eat were much appreciated. When i realized I made a mistake under booking our stay Gorge was so responsive and helped set up an extra day for us. It was a wonderful stay.

Quinceañera trip

Came down for a quinceañera, this our family's second time staying at the Casita. It's cute, clean and has a beautiful location. The bed was very comfortable, appreciate the blackout shade, the AC was nice and cold perfect for sleeping and bathroom was clean. We utilized the washer and dryer and went home with clean clothes. Looking forward for our next time we drive down. Thanks The Hernandez Family

Superb Experience

House was amazing! Clean, beautiful, comfortable and had every amenity you could possibly desire. The shared pool was perfect! Property manager was attentive and very helpful. I will definitely stay at La Casita again. You will not be disappointed.

Awesome Casita Stay

My brother and I were pleasantly surprised with this jewel of a place. The place was very welcoming. We truly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be going back to this awesome place. Jorge was extremely responsive and courteous. We were not disappointed with our stay in Brownsville, Texas.

Great place to stay. Nice and quiet.

This is a great little property. Much better than staying in a hotel. Everything was set up nicely and access was very easy. I loved the ability to cook when i didn't want to eat out. I wish there may have been a dresser to put clothes in. We just set up one of the portable tables for our clothes. The bed is nice and big, but the mattress is sinking a bit in the middle. Overall, a great place to get away.

Perfect spot for a solo traveler

I was in the area for both work and to visit some of the many local parks. The house was perfect for a solo traveler. It would also be great for a couple.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood with golf course and water features

Had a great time! The host was very responsive and helpful. Enjoyed Starbase and birding. Highly recommended, would book again.

I loved the place! The only downside was we arrived after dark and our Uber driver had to help us find it. A brighter light showing the house numbers would be appreciated. I plan on using this Vrbo again! Jorge was quick to answer any questions. The bed was really comfy.

Always a pleasure

The setting is beautiful you can see the golf course and the Resaca from the back porch. It's nice to have a full size kitchen and washer and dryer. Super handy and Jorge the host is so wonderful to deal with

Birthday stay

My stay at La casita was perfect, everything was exactly as pictured. The check in process is fast and easy. The property manager was quick to answer any questions and was very kind. La casita is in a good location and was near plenty of good food spots as well. My partner & I had an amazing time and will be staying again ◡̈
