Hickory Hills is in a beautiful location on Long Lake in the Saxeville WI area. The master bedroom and bath are located on the main level, with 2 kings beds, crib, desk, views of the lake. The open concept kitchen, dining room, livingroom w/fireplace leads out to the large deck with wonderful views of the lake and firepit area. The lower level has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, laundry area, and family room w/fireplace, patio doors lead to the hot tub on the patio. Private pier and raft. Kayaks and paddleboards. Rental of the owner's pontoon boat. There are security cameras "outside" at the home.

Long Lake is a sand bottom, clean lake where you can enjoy boating, swimming, fishing, relaxing.

Perfect cabin for girls trip

This is our second year staying at this cabin, and we hope to come back for a third! Love that there’s enough space for our group to gather, but enough separate room when we want to spread out. The beds and pillows are comfy, and the deck views can’t be bear. Thanks for a great stay!

Relaxing Lakefront Cabin

Our group of 16 enjoyed our weekend stay here. We enjoyed grilling, going out on the pontoon, and catching up around the fire. The location was perfect.

Great for families

Everyone in my family loved the stay. Plenty to do with kayaks, paddle boards, floating dock to swim to and games for rainy days. Lots of towels and kitchen stocked was fully stocked with all the dishes, cooking pans and utinsels you could need. Loved having the washing machine/ dryer and dishwasher. Made life easier. Would definitely stay again.

Lake house

Beautiful large lake house with a deck for 8 adults to relax and enjoy a vacation together. Plenty of room for parking and so clean! We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Long Lake Review

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! It was cozy and felt like a home away from home. The lake was a highlight for us; we couldn't get enough of swimming and relaxing in the hot tub. There were plenty of activities to keep us entertained, and the kids especially loved spending time by the lake. A perfect getaway for the whole family!

Ladies Relax and Reset Weekend

We were 8 lovely ladies, stressed from work and family and life and Hickory Hills was the perfect place to rest and relax in each other’s company. The space is large enough for us to come together or to find a separate space to chill and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the lake. We loved the area and enjoyed shopping and had ice cream at Scoops. We love our time at Hickory Hills again and would absolutely rent again.

The best vacation spot for family bonding and relaxation!

We went here with both sides of the family after our wedding. The house is so beautiful and there are so much things to do!! The whole family enjoyed and felt more bonded after the vacation. The lake was really clean, we loved the hot tub, we were at the balcony over looking the lake 80% of the time, the bonfire place was amazing. We would definitely come back here!!!

Gal Pal reunion

12 of us got together at this central location for a 2 night mid week stay. We LOVED it there. Beautiful setting and lots of room for all of us. We loved the deck and the open living space. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub. Well supplied kitchen. Make sure you bring some plastic glasses for your adult beverages however since there wasn't much for glassware. Also warning to folks who have difficulty with steps. There are a lot of them including a spiral staircase to access several bedrooms! There was an issue with the septic but we contacted the managers. It was resolved within a couple of hours with little inconvenience for our group. We rented the pontoon boat and enjoyed the crystal clear water on the lake. We all agreed we would be happy to return.

Wonderful property!!

We had a lovely girls weekend! The lake, the paddle boards, raft, fire pit, the amount of sleeping area were all perfect!! There was enough room to chat, hang out as a group or have some alone time if needed. Just some very minor things: the stairs would feel safer at night if there were solar lights to light the path. The one beam that is holding up the deck seemed like it was bowing, someone may want to check the structural impact.

Long Lake - Saxeville - July 6-20 2023

Well equipped kitchen, quiet house great for family/friends. Introduced our 3 year old granddaughter to fishing and she loved catching small fish off the dock. Great view from the deck, enjoyed kayaking, fishing. Lots of steps (60) to the water bit of a workout but all enjoyed.

Perfect for Family Weekend

The home was perfect for an extended family weekend away. The view was amazing and the house was super comfortable and fun! Our family really enjoyed the hot tub, water activities, fire pit and making memories together.

Awesome view when you wake up in the morning

This place is amazing. Especially the view from Master Bedroom at 6-7 AM when you wake up and the sun is rising over the lake. This is exactly what you need when you come from a busy and noisy city.

Lovely Lakehouse

Beautiful views and location. Lake is crystal clear. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. A lot of conveniences for families with a crib, pack n play, high chair, and baby gate. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to go back again!

Amazing lake property and even better hosts.

I was so impressed by everything provided at the property. Everything was very well thought out, from the bathroom and kitchen amenities, to the paddle boards kayaks, wood for the fire pit etc. It truly has everything you need. Parking was abundant and it was even accessible for our 94 year old grandmother to spend 2 nights where she could watch the kids swim from the upper deck. She said it was the best part of her summer. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful home on the lake with hot tub. Very impressed with the amenities offered. Having the baby gates and high chair was very appreciated. Kitchen stocked with all you need! Kids loved the water sports and huge fire pit.

Amazing property - very family-friendly!

We stayed here with my whole family which included 2 3 year olds, a 1 year old, and a 2 year old. Very family friendly in terms of 2 cribs, rocking chair, high chair, childrens books, baby gate, etc. The one master bedroom also had an attached side room with a crib and rocker for our baby which was perfect. Property was extremely clean and very beautiful. Fully equipped kitchen bathroom and shower off of the master bedroom is beautiful. Beautiful views of the lake and we had a great time renting the pontoon from the owner. The large deck was also great to grill on, hang out on, and have the kids play on. Hot tub on the lower deck was also very nice. Fire pit had a beautiful view of the lake. You can jump off the dock to swim, but heads-up that there is no sandy beach and you have to walk down quite a few stairs to get to the water from the house. Not bad, but a call out for anyone specifically looking for a sandy beach. Would definitely stay again!

Nice lake house

Nice 12 person lake house in a rural area with about 200 homes around a mile long by quarter mile wide lake at its greatest point. Not a lot of traffic on the lake, a few water skiers, and jet skis but more than a dozen pontoon boats circling the lake counterclockwise as is the local custom usually in the late afternoon. All the boats had friendly people who put a hand up to give a simple wave. The house itself is perched on a slope about 60 feet above the lake level and about 150 feet back from the lake. According to their picture book, it seems the house has been remodeled about three times. The latest rendition has floor to ceiling glass doors on the second floor and partially on the first allowing the splendor of the lake to come in. Remember however to bring some WD-40 to lubricate the door tracks on the second floor otherwise you’ll get a workout. Although this is a rural area, by the lake it’s suburbia.. the house next door is about 50 feet away. Weed whacking there goes from 9 to 10:30 am followed by the septic tank pump truck at 11:30. Nice people but they have to maintain their property. The property manager Bonnie and her husband Jeff are very responsive to your requests. Jeff responded immediately in person to an alarm going off next door,. In addition he brought over his own new personal life preservers when it was found out that last week’s storm had blown away the ones belonging to the house. Our three generational family had a great time there and hope to return again soon!

Perfect Summer spot for friends. Lake is beautiful and clean. Really enjoyed hot tub evenings. Great layout and everything we needed. We'd love to come back next Summer

Beautiful cabin and lake view!

This place was clean, spacious, and the lake was beautiful! The host was responsive and there was plenty of things to do during our stay. Beautiful backyard view and deck! The hot tub area had a nice view and was relaxing. Great place for a big family.
