Beautiful modern rustic barn located near state parks and Chain o Lakes.

This property is a one of a kind modernized rustic barn.

A large living room with wood burning fireplace & great natural lighting, dining table seats 10, plus 6 counter seats. Butler kitchen includes its own dishwasher & large side by side refrigerator/freezer. A beverage/bar station offers a wine & beer fridge stocked with glassware. The main cooking area overlooks the family room and has a large refrigerator, double ovens, gas stove with griddle, coffee maker, microwave, & toaster oven. Large screen TV's w/ vcr and dvd players. Lower Level has a family room with a gas fireplace and large sitting area. A children's art corner will keep the little ones busy.

This rental sleeps 12 people with 2 rooms on second floor and a lower level with 3 rooms.

An additional apartment may be added to sleep 6 more. (please inquire for pricing)

Near Hartman's creek state park, standing rock county park, the chain of lakes, Foxfire Golf, Snowmobile Trails, etc.

Pets are welcomed for a small fee.

We have been coming here for years now and the place is as wonderful as it’s ever been. The space is perfect for large groups. We just absolutely love our stay here and look forward to it every year.

Our group size was 17. Grandma, Grandpa, four families with a combined age range of 1-65. (oops, and two dogs!) This wonderful barn was the perfect size. Everyone had a comfortable room and it was spacious enough where if you needed to get away from the noise for a little privacy, you could easily do so. We really had a wonderful time and the host was extremely accommodating. The yard is large enough for multiple activities. Being in the country, the evenings was very quiet and with 8 grandkids, we could make all the noise we wanted without offending a neighbor because there are no neighbors. We enjoyed a bon fire every night. Only six miles from Waupaca, we rented a pontoon boat one afternoon on the chain of lakes. We enjoyed another day of swimming at Hartland State Park which also has an excellent hiking trail. Waupaca is a town of just over 6000 people and you wont have any trouble finding whatever supplies you need or places to eat. We took the whole group one afternoon to The Woods Family Restaurant. Excellent food, large entrees, and you won't believe the low cost! We had a great time and would not hesitate to rent the barn again.

We had a lovely stay at the beautiful barn! The kitchens are amazing to host big groups. The beds were comfortable! We are already talking about renting again next year!

The place is great. Location was convenient. Close enough to town if need be. However, for the price, I was hoping there would be more supplies etc... (paper plates, batteries, dishwasher pods, hair dryer, lightbulbs, etc....) Also, I think the cleaning fee is steep especially if we are expected to strip beds etc.... With that being said, I would stay here again as the place is pretty cool for a bigger group.

Women’s Weekend

A group of 8 of us stayed here and really enjoyed it. The kitchen is fantastic, comfy beds, cute decorating, and space for everyone. I hope we can return someday!

Another great stay!

We have stayed here several times in the past, and it continues to be a wonderful place to gather large groups. There were 12 of us and we fit comfortably and enjoyed the wide open spaces, the decorations and the amenities.

Family Holiday Gathering

Our family gathered for our holiday get together. We all stayed at the Red Barn last year and we returned for another holiday weekend gathering. The accommodations were perfect for our group, plenty of rooms with beds

Everything was perfect

The property is beautiful. The renovated barn is full of warmth and character. Loved the fixtures and decor. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time there. Thank you to the owners, we would love to come back!
