The cabin was beautiful, very convenient. The driveway was steep. The people that owns it are very nice. We really enjoyed the stay there. Beautiful location. creek in the backyard was beautiful.

Great property; hidden in the mountains for a quiet, serene setting…except for the beautiful sounds of the creek! Clean property, advertised correctly, easy check-in, and good communication with owners.It is located about 20 minutes from Highlands.

This is our new favorite vacation rental in the mountains. Very quiet except for the tranquil noise of the gorgeous creek that will put you to sleep. Peaceful, clean plenty of places to explore or cook your own meals. Host was very responsive.

Creekside, secluded, yet close to adventures and sights. We were very happy and comfortable here. So the driveway is steep, and care is needed, but our full size pickup had no problem. You will love the enclosed porch, with the cool stillness and soothing sound of the creek, when having coffee, or relaxing. Comfortable bed and furniture, clean and stocked for your stay.

We came for a last minute long weekend. We were comfortable and really enjoyed the location. There are several beautiful waterfalls just minutes away as well as the creek in the back. The location is near Highlands, Franklin, and Dillard Ga.

Creekside getaway

The Berry Patch cabin is in a terrific location about 10 minutes outside of Franklin on the way towards Highlands. The driveway is a a little steep and the climb to exit required my truck's 4 wheel drive (although I believe that's because of the lack of weight in the bed of the truck). The initial impression of the exterior of the cabin would benefit from removal of limb debris on the roof. The rushing stream immediately behind the cabin is the star of the show, and the water sounds are relaxing. The 1 BR layout is cozy, but sufficient and the large lanai is where we spent most of our time. We visited in July during a heatwave and there is no AC, but the mornings were cool and the shady creekside setting kept the temperature tolerable.

Highlands Cabin

Lovely, well-appointed cabin on a flowing stream. Really enjoyed the secluded feel of being deep in the woods, yet only 15 to 30 minutes to central Highlands.

To be able to sit on the deck and watch and listen to the sounds of the creek rushing by is so relaxing. The lanai with the view of the creek and the sounds of the creek even inside is so cozy . Beautiful place!

Our Highlands vacation

This house was conveniently located close to many beautiful waterfalls. The house was comfortable and peaceful, the sound of the stream was wonderful and soothing. The porch is back is great!

Creek Side Vacation at Cozy Cabin

Our stay at the Cozy Cabin was absolutely fantastic. We truly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect time to visit the area with the changing of the leaves and the cooler weather. The cabin was comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the sunroom listening to the creek flow past. We had no issues and want to thank Tammy and Clint for renting the cabin to us! Highly recommend this location as a place to stay when visiting the Highlands!

The property was fine, clean with new bath and kitchen appliances. Easy to get in and out. The creek with the waterfall was nice- constant sound. Large sun room was nice, large deck could be used if needed. The only thing that bugged us was the lack of air conditioning. In N. Carolina in the summer, it can get hot, and it was. Outside was fine, a nice breeze made walking around fine. But there is not breeze inside a house. It was hot and stuffy inside, making sleeping difficult. Fans only blew hot air around. Surprised they did not have a window unit, it would have cooled the whole house. There is central heat- so we may go back in the fall and winter. We left 1 day early so we could sleep.

Beautiful Area

The cottage was clean and well appointed, in the woods next to a beautiful mountain creek. We were novices to this area and the drive in on Buck Creek Rd was a little intimidating. By the end of the week after exploring the area we understood that the winding mountain roads are a feature that enable residents and visitors to experience the phenomenal environment.

So relaxing!

Loved the cottage and the creek! We found the swimming hole with no problem! We hung out in the sun room and played games while listening to the rushing waters. Perfect stay for the four of us. We will be back! We had cool nights so air conditioning wasn't necessary.

Very clean almost everything was new sheets dishes the shower all remodelled which was very nice but the place is very small. It’s one bedroom and small area with sofa then there’s a sunroom looking over the water. It’s beautiful to look at but the water streaming is so loud and it’s 24 seven. Also you definitely need a four-wheel-drive..

Great Area to visit

Loved the beautiful area between Franklin and Highlands. Lots to do and see. Not a cabin, our mistake, look at the pictures. Cute getaway for two people. Loved the coffee bar. So sorry, unable to use enclosed lanai (with the creek sounds) for a couple of days due to cold weather. Dehumidifiers do work but rather noisy. More than sufficient linens and kitchen appliances. As noted in description, Very Steep driveway.
