Beautiful spacious upper apartment nestled in a prime North Buffalo location Hertel Avenue. Within STEPS outside the house are shopping boutiques, restaurants, coffee, bars & gyms. Within walking distance (20 min) is Delaware Park, a beautiful park within 350 acres. Owners live downstairs and available if needed during your stay.

This in demand prime location offers easy access to many attractions (5 min drive) including Buffalo Zoo, University Buffalo, Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House.

Niagara Falls & Downtown Buffalo are 20 min drive

Perfect for family getaway !

After sightseeing Niagara Falls, enjoying downtown Buffalo or returning from a sports game, The Heart of Hertel Airbnb will welcome you for a night out on the porch people watching, cooking dinner in the newly remodeled kitchen or watching Netflix/Amazon movies in the living room under dimmable lighting. There are board games & magazines for entertainment while listening to Alexa's music stations.

This house is a double, and this listing is for the upper 3 bedroom apartment. This is a owner occupied house. The hosts live downstairs in the private unit below. Guests will have access to a safe entrance, central A/C, covered porch and cozy living room with french doors!

This unit can accommodate up to 8 people. After 6 people, there is a $15 fee per person & an additional cot will be set up in living room. The 3 bedrooms include a queen size bed and a trundle daybed that sleeps two separately. Amenities include off street parking, WIFI, coffee/tea station, central A/C and a well-equipped kitchen for cooking meals. There is a spacious porch with patio furniture which offers view of Hertel Avenue for your morning cup of coffee/tea and winding down with a glass of wine under the patio lights.

Please let us know ahead of time if you are bringing infants and we will try to accomodate. We can provide a pack and play, bassinet, infant bath, highchair and toys.

Prime location by Hertel

Came in to visit family for the holidays and go to a Bills game. We loved walking to shops and restaurants that are just minutes away!

Spacious and cozy

Perfect location to many restaurants/shops and easy access to highway for getting to other parts of Buffalo. This apartment was perfect for our family of four, allowing us to have separate rooms for our kid and baby. It is spacious, and has more than we expected - including board games, coffee and tea, and even strollers and other things for our baby. Fantastic spot!

Great Experience

This was our second stay at this property and it was great. We love the location! The unit is clean and comfortable, has everything you need to cook if you want to, and is close to many great restaurants if you want to eat out. Coffee shops are close and it is easy to get everywhere. The owners are great communicators and offer lots of suggestions for places to see in Buffalo.

A Great Spot in Buffalo

Highly recommend this home in the heart of Hertel. Great location! We were able to easily to walk to coffee and dining options. The zoo was nearby. We were a short trip from the Falls and Niagara on the Lake. Also was a quick trip from Orchard Park and the Bills. The house was clean and well appointed and fulfilled all our needs. There was plenty of room for a family of 4. The host was responsive and helpful. Very happy we stayed here instead of a hotel!

Second stay was just as great!

This was our second time staying here and it was just as great as the first! Brad and Vanessa were incredibly accommodating and helpful during our stay. They are generous in providing towels, bathroom essentials, snacks, coffee pods, kid + baby supplies making our packing process and stay easy peasy. Location couldn’t be better! Highly reccomend! We will be back :)

A perfect family-friendly stay!

We had the most wonderful time with our family staying at Brad and Vanessa’s place. It was clean, comfertable and larger than comparable places we’ve stayed in Buffalo. The family room was spacious and the kitchen as well. The 3 large bedrooms were great too. Brad and Vanessa made our stay so nice and easy. They provided a high chair, bouncy seat, baby bath and more for our 7 month old making packing for the trip so easy. They also left coffee pod, tea and snacks which helped to make our arrival with hungry kids seamless. They live downstairs and we’re very friendly and available offering even more! The location can’t be beat…walking distance to everything on hertel! We will be back when visiting family, that’s for sure!

80th Birthday Celebration

I chose this location because it was a five minute drive from my parents home and also because it looked like the most inviting of all the other rentals I researched. The pictures didn’t lie. This apartment is cozy with enough room for our family of 4 adults and 2 kids. Also, the location can’t be beat! Being within walking distance to stores and restaurants on Hertel Ave was a definite plus. The owners did a great job of answering requests in a timely manner. The only suggestion is for there to be more hooks available for towels as well as additional targeted lighting in the front room for reading. 5 stars granted! We enjoyed our time in Buffalo and looking forward to our next visit.

Great place in an awesome location

This was the perfect place for our family of 5 in Buffalo. Really cool old house updated with modern amenities. Our hosts were communicative, and helpful. We had everything we needed, and the location was awesome. Super close (walking distance) to a ton of restaurants and stores, and not far from Niagara Falls and everything we wanted to see in Buffalo. Great place at a great rate!

Clean, cozy and comfortable stay to visit family

The flat was the perfect set up for my family to have a visit in Buffalo. The location was ideal, steps away from Hertel and all the great restaurants/shops, plus near family we were visiting. Property owner's were very responsive and helpful. Hope to come back!

Family!

This was a great place to visit with my sister after time with our 99 year old dad! The apartment was as it appeared in the photos with so much space! The little touches of Buffalo were lovely! We enjoyed the kitchen which allowed us to enjoy breakfast and snacks together. The welcome book was perfect with so much information! We really enjoyed the central location which allowed us to walk to some delicious meals and investigate the neighborhood. We loved it and highly recommend these hosts!

Cozy Buffalo Home!

This was a cozy little home, walking distance from loads to do! My family stayed in Buffalo while visiting Niagara Falls and we couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay! Hertel Ave reminded us so much of the East Side of Milwaukee, my kids loved the ice cream at Poutine and Cream! The place was spotless and had plenty of room for the five of us to spread out. My kids loved the snacks they left out and my wife and I appreciated the assortment of coffee to enjoy in the morning. Highly recommend staying here if your ever in Buffalo!

Great Weekend Celebrating

My daughters, my son's girlfriend and my daughter's friend stayed here to celebrate my daughter's 30th bday. The house is exactly as pictured. We live in a quiet rural area and staying in Buffalo was different from our normal. I chose this property because it was an upstairs unit with the hosts live below the property. This gave us a safety factor. Next up that was a great surprise was the parking. The hosts parked their car(s) on the street, allowing us to park our 3 cars on the large roomy driveway (definitely could fit more cars), The property was very clean. The decor was retro with a Buffalo theme. Quick walk to Hertel and many restaurants and shops. I (we) would absolutely stay here again. Most likely in the summer when there is more activity on Hertel.

10/10 would stay again!

We traveled to buffalo with 4 adults and a 3 year old baby and Loved our stay at this classic downtown Buffalo home. The hosts were great and super helpful with tips on where to eat, drink, and even offered to supply baby toys if needed. Great location - walking distance to good cafes, bars, and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again when we come back if it’s available.

Lovely place with good hosts

My group of 4 was very comfortable in this bright and airy apartment near Hertel Ave. The rental had many thoughtful touches: umbrellas, games, snacks, coffee, local restaurant menus, etc. The location is walking distance to many shops and restaurants, but the area was quiet at night. We met the hosts briefly and they seemed like nice people. Comfy beds and fluffy towels. A great stay overall.

Great spot for Buffalo Visit

This is a very spacious and well-equipped unit. We loved our stay in this unit. It was close to everything we wanted, near great shops and coffee spots and it was easy to get to the places in Buffalo we wanted to be. Despite being close to a main artery, it was very quiet. It was easy to get in, communication with owner was great. We highly recommend this unit if you are going to visit Buffalo!
