"Cabin for Two" Smoky Mountain Area

Our house and cabin property are located on a small farm with a private gated driveway. We have one rental cabin located in the woods and privacy is our forte. Nestled about 3 minutes behind our main house, the cabin is only accessible by golf cart, which is provided. We DO NOT ALLOW any vehicles in the cabin area. The cabin is located in an area that is part of our cattle farm and home for a lot of wildlife; turkey, bear, coyotes and other native critters passing through.

We have an above ground swimming pool located at our main house. We offer it for guests use the beginning of June through the end of August.

We are 20 minutes from Sevierville/Pigeon Forge. We go to Pigeon Forge and even Gatlinburg for a day/evening out. The drive going on Hwy 411 from our place to Sevierville is very picturesque with mountain/valley views. We are 8 minutes from Douglas Lake boat launch and 5 minutes from boat/jet ski rentals for Douglas Lake.

Our cabin is a very primitive style tiny cabin with modern amenities. It is a small 2 story with living area and full kitchen downstairs and bed/bath loft area upstairs. It has 1 full size bed and will accommodate 2 people. The upstairs loft is an open area with the bed on one end and full bath on the other end, with low ceilings. The bed is an antique high-side bed. You will need to be able to climb stairs to the bed/bath loft area. It has both front and back porches to enjoy the privacy and quiet time in the woods. It has a fire pit in the back which uses wood (we provide the cut wood) and a place to cook over the fire. We also have a grill if you prefer to cook on a grill.

Bed linens, bath towels/wash cloths/kitchen towels, toilet tissue, and kitchen paper towels are provided. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, silverware and glassware, just bring your food. Basic coffee supplies/coffee pods and a Keurig coffee maker are provided. We also have a small bread toaster.

We cannot allow more than 2 guests at a time due to the small size of our cabin. When you arrive, you will find that we want you to feel at home on our farm. We love our private property and are looking forward to sharing it with you!

Best Vacation Ever

This cabin is the sweetest little cabin anywhere. We had a great time at the cabin, floating in Donna and Bill's pool, riding the golf cart up and down and talking to the peacocks, turkeys, horses and donkeys. Donna and Bill are wonderful hosts and we will definitely be back!

Donna and Bill are the best! The property is perfect for a couple that need a bit of privacy. The cabin is clean and cozy. If you love nature then this place is for you! My husband and I will be back many more times!

Favorite little cabin.

Incredible Stay!

This is our second time here and the property owner makes this stay even better. This cabin is an amazing getaway deep in the woods with lots of charm. Peace and quiet

The property is in a secluded area and the stay was very enjoyable. My wife and I really enjoyed the peace and quite of the cabin. We would recommend to anyone that needs to unplug from the fast pace of daily life for a few days.

Awesome cabin in the woods

This was our 4th time staying at the cabin and it was as fun as the first time! We love the cabin,the land,the critters and the owners. Donna and Bill are the greatest people you'll meet! Donna always goes above and beyond to make sure our stay is the best. Would 100%recommend to people who love nature!

Amazing property and great owners

Can not begin express how wonderful our stay at the cabin was. Beautiful scenery, very private and secluded, but still a short drive to Gatlinburg. The cabin was very cozy with great amenities such as a fireplace, outdoor fire pit, grill, and a small kitchen. The owners are so nice and made the whole process super easy. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Will definitely stay with them again!

Peace & Quiet

We were thrilled with the little Cabin in the Woods! It provided a lovely atmosphere, a woodsy feel, a warm, crackling outdoor fire, a cozy place for spending time enjoying the gorgeous trees and view, the animals. We stayed two nights, and wish we had one more! We hope to return next year.

A-MAZING!!!!

This ideas one of the best weekends I’ve ever had. Donna was an amazing host, she made it special (it was my boyfriend’s birthday) and that was GREAT! The cabin was perfect and we even say some wildlife! I would definitely recommend and will like go back! Thank you Donna for amazing time!

The most relaxing experience!

Let me start off by saying the owners Donna and Bill are the absolute best! Donna goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. The cabin is cozy and perfect for a couple that just want to enjoy each other and the beauty that nature has to offer. Winter trip

It was nice cabin. Very secluded and quiet. It was a little smaller than it looked in the pictures but loved it. If you are taller then 6 ft you will have to duck when you are upstairs. But we did like it and had a great time. We will come back soon.

Best place we've ever stayed

The cabin in the woods is exactly that. It's a rustic secluded getaway. This was our 2nd trip there and we will return. Perfect to getaway from all the hustle and bustle of cellphones, traffic, and the rest of life. Donna is a fantastic host, she has thought of everything from the use of a gulf cart to the smores kit includes for the outdoor fireplace. The little things in the cabin make you feel right at home.

Couldn't have asked for more.

To start off, I have to say that Donna and Bill are amazing people. Check in was easy and everything was just as advertised. The place is beautiful and very well built. It is perfect for a couples get away. It's also evident that they take pride in what they do, no matter what it is. Again, they are amazing. We will be back and hopefully it will be soon.

Peace and tranquillity

Donna was a wonderful host. Made us feel as if we were already friends. She was always available if we had any questions. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, and some privacy this is the place. The cabin is a quaint beautifully decorated and very well stocked with all you’ll need. It is just as described and more. We are looking forward to many visits here!

Paradise

Simply put… unbelievable! Everything was stocked well with anything you could need. Clean and comfortable bed and the entire cabin was spotless. I especially enjoyed the fire pit and grill . Best of all was the host ! They made us feel welcome and were so very genuine . Full of southern hospitality. If we ever return to the smokies we will arrange our time to stay again .

Cabin in the woods

Doesn't really matter about the rental...even though it was amazing... when you have the opportunity to meet good people in this crazy world...its priceless. Love the cabin, wildlife, seclusion...best rental ever. You Will Not Be Disappointed!

Our stay at the cabin was just what we needed to get away from it all to unplug and unwind. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need while away from home. We spent most of our time outdoors enjoying views of nature and wildlife from the porch, grilling out for meals, and having fires at night. However, much thought has also been put into the interior of the cabin from the cozy and welcoming decor to the super soft towels and amazingly comfortable bed. If our travels ever take us to this area again we will be certainly try to stay here again.
