Our small group loved the views from this home on the water. The deck off the upstairs bedroom, the dining table on the patio, and the fire pit and Adirondack chairs made for a wonderful outdoor experience of the area. We hardly went inside! The kitchen was spacious and well appointed for the simple meals we prepared, but we most enjoyed walks on the beach right from the front yard. We would stay again.

We loved the location of this house as well as its spaces: the bedrooms, living space, and kitchen were very comfortable. The best aspect was being right on the water and the beach! Even with cooler weather, we loved being able to just walk out and be in the beach! Sim has provided outdoor seating, both around a firepit and a table and chair set under the balcony--so we felt very comfortable inside and out. We wish we could have stayed longer!Sim was also very accommodating: she clearly was on "stand by" on our check-in day to ensure we could negotiate the digital lock. We really appreciated her availability!There were just a few details that kept this property from being Excellent: - our 93-year-old mother was on the 1st floor bedroom. She really missed having a light on the bedstand next to her bed. She doesn't use the flashlight on her phone, so it wasn't a good situation for her. - we missed having KLEENEX in the house. My brother suffers from allergies, so he's a heavy user. - a washcloth in the kitchen would have been helpful for wiping the counters and stove. - some tips on acceptable recycling would have been helpful, especially since some in our family live in Bellevue where literally everything goes into the recycling.

Wonderful stay!

We had such a wonderful stay. The property is stunning and exactly as described. The owner was so kind, helpful, and easy to work with. Will definitely stay again.

Great beach house in a quiet neighborhood. We were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect place to stay. Fully stocked kitchen and perfect outdoor space to relax. Highly recommend.

Great stay

Fun weekend getaway with friends. Enjoyed having a fire outside. Just 25 minutes outside of Bellingham.

Beautiful house on the water!

Beautiful, spacious house with incredible views. Made for a fun, relaxing family trip! Communication from the owner was also great. We would definitely stay there again

Beautiful beach house

We didn’t want to leave! Such a beautiful location and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Very clean and well taken care of! If we were to make any suggestion for the house it would be some beach chairs or even beach towels. We would love to come back again!

Lummi Bay

The house was wonderful and the view incredible. There were 5 adults that stayed in the house, and we were all very comfortable. The location was very convenient, and we appreciated the owner's suggestion about grocery shopping. A couple of things that need attention: the soap dispenser in the large bathroom did not work, the lid to the trash can was broken, and the lamp in the bedroom with 2 beds did not work. These are things that the cleaners probably don't notice. Would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

Great beach house

We were visiting some friends with a new baby in Bellingham so we rented this place to have a location where we could all hang out for the day. The beache was fun for the kids and the adults enjoyed a drink at the outdoor fire pit. The kitchen looks like it was recently remodeled and in great condition. We will probably stay here again!

Three Senior Couples

Lovely home on the beach, with great views. Nicely furnished with a generous sized master suite. The convenience of a lower bedroom was great for those who have difficulty with stairs. The owner is a great communicator and responds quickly. An excellent choice for a getaway!

Great stay

Perfect stay. Loved the peace and calm. Kids loved playing on the rocky beach. We took the ferry to Lummi Island and spent an afternoon at Trackside in Bellingham. My only feedback is the screen/slider to the walkout was non-functional. When we showed up, there were a fair number of fruit flies, and I assume it's from folks leaving the door wide open. For the price, I hope they find a suitable replacement asap. Overall, we would absolutely pick the same place for this trip.

Beautiful views!

The host, Sim, was excellent in responding to questions that arose. We could not have asked for better, and caring, communication. The location lends itself to quieter days, a slower pace, explorations on Lummi Island and nearby Bellingham. We relished the glow of sunsets, birds diving, the passage of boats, illuminated homes across the bay, collecting rocks, friendly neighbors. The appliances are a dream-the newer stove, sink, dish washer and refrigerator. Some issues arose regarding maintenance and Sim was quick to respond, and apologize, which was totally unnecessary. Frequent visitors, whose needs and expectations vary, contribute to the wear and tear of a home. We shared our suggestions and the owners received recommendations very kindly.
