Tree House- Two bedroom plus loft- sustainable living!

Welcome to the Twinleaf Tree House experience! Built fifteen feet above ground and anchored to six maple and cedar trees. This two bedroom plus loft with queen sofa bed contains a full bathroom and two decks.
Roughly one hundred yards north of the house, guests have access to beautiful Lake Samish to use the provided (2) Stand-Up Paddles or Double kayak via the community dock.
Access to the SportCourt for pickleball, basketball or volleyball!
Ten minute drive to Fairhaven for any culture you would want. Countless hikes as close as walk-able.
Our mission was to immerse the renter in nature and to celebrate sustainability. With that in mind- the water for the tree house is 100% Rain Catchment. Three cisterns nestled at the back of the property collect and house 9000 gallons of water. The Class A system ensures the highest quality water possible for residential living.
We hope you have the vacation of your dreams in this authentically unique property.
There is a friendly neighborhood cat "Scout" (not ours). Please do not let him into the property. We need to keep the property pristine and it can be very difficult to get him out!

Location was great for purpose of moving in our daughter to Western Washington University. We rested well, enjoyed the tv to watch the Apple Cup, played pickelball, walked the neighborhood and made friends with the local cat who was very sweet. This place is a perfect weekend get away - in the summer you are just a walk to the lake to use the paddleboards, too! We appreciated the recycling and sustainability focus with the rainwater, too. My daughter said, " You should stay here everytime you come to Bellingham!"

This Treehouse has easily just become our family's new favorite spot. Absolutely beautiful in the Fall time. Waking up to those gorgeous trees every morning made it extremely hard to leave! The little balcony outside was also our favorite sitting out drinking coffee watching the rain. Our family which included 2 kids loved having the Sport Court right outside. We played lots of basketball and pickle ball. The hosts were very kind and responsive. We appreciate this opportunity to make memories as a family and will definitely be back again!

Perfect family getaway. Plenty of things to do. The paddle boards and kayak have been an awesome addition to our plans. The area is beautiful! Would definitely come back here again.

Beautiful treehouse and a once in a lifetime experience! Very clean. Washer/dryer was much appreciated. However, it was long on style and short on comfort … really uncomfortable for sleeping and even sitting. Thin, firm mattresses; an saggy uncomfortable sofa, and the loft is tiny. We all left exhausted and ready for a hotel.

Sorry to hear the treehouse wasn’t for you. Unfortunately, due to it’s size, the treehouse requires smaller, low profile beds and a shallow depth couch to function well. For us, good design is comfort! Enjoy the hotel and hope you get some rest!
