This is a lovely cottage located in the private community of Angola by the Bay. It is unique and peaceful, and yet located less than 20 minutes away from all of the excitement of Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk and shopping outlets. Enjoy the privacy of your own home with full access to the 3-private crabbing/fishing docks, kayak/boat launch. Enjoy the Saltwater Olympic & Kiddie pool, Playground, Baseball /Softball field, Basketball, Tennis & Bocce courts, Walking & Biking trails throughout the neighborhood.

Please note there are cameras mounted on the exterior of this property. Minimum age to book is 27 years of age. One dog will be considered upon request, but only if your dog is well trained, not an incessant barker and will not be left along for long periods of time - and there will be a nonrefundable $25 per day charge for the dog. This is a quiet community that is located just 20 minutes from the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk and Lewes Beach/State Park. Quiet hours are from 10 pm until 9 am please.

Adorable Cottage

This adorable cottage is cuter than the pictures online. It’s in a great location and safe neighborhood. We hope to stay here again when in Lewes.

Cozy Cottage Stay

The Bayside Cottage was everything we were hoping it would be! It was clean, cozy, well-supplied, and conveniently located near the beaches and shopping areas. The communication with the host, Maggie, was efficient and always timely. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to visit for our first trip to Delaware!

Excellent Rental!

We had the perfect little girls weekend at this location! Maggie was very easy to communicate with and the property and information was exactly as described. You can tell that she takes great care of this rental. Plenty of space for the six of us to sleep and spread out, with easy access to neighboring beaches, restaurants, and activities. We did not use the pool, so I can only speak to the property. This property is fully stocked with all of the ammenties you and your family/friends would need for the perfect little getaway. We would absolutely rent this property again. Thank you from all of us for a wonderful stay!

Cozy Comfortable Cottage

We absolutely loved our time at Angola Bay. Maggie was quick to respond to all our email and text communication. We enjoyed Lewes Beach twice and took us about 20 minutes to drive. It was a short walk to the community pool and a pleasant neighborhood for walking. The home included so many nice additions. The backyard was great for an evening meal. We grilled out twice and enjoyed sitting under the little lights that enveloped the yard. Even on a rainy day, there are so many quiet nooks and crannies with thoughtful, inspirational and beachy decor. The cottage houses 6 very comfortably, with 3 TVs, one in the main living area, one in the den/bar area, and one in the Master bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped, and it was nice having towels, linens, and even beach towels, chairs and an umbrella available. We also went to church at Rehoboth Beach very near the boardwalk also about a 20-minute drive. Coastal Hwy 1 is about a 10-minute drive and has so many places to shop and eat. It is very busy but there is a backway into some of the grocery stores and shops. We definitely hope to return to this lovely vacation location.

Beautiful Cottage!

We would love to stay here again! Clean, quiet and convenient. Communication with the owner was great and we really appreciated all of the amenities they offer. It is clear that they go the extra mile to ensure your stay is perfect!

Great cottage!

This was one of the cutest places to stay. The pictures are 100% accurate. We had a girls trip and this was the perfect spot. Downtown is only 20-25 mins away ( Dewey beach, rehoboth beach). We instantly fell in love when we walked in. Maggie is a great host!

Cozy, comfortable and charming

We enjoyed the vibe in this darling cottage. The kitchen is well appointed and our home cooked meals were prepared with ease. The master suite on the first floor was perfect with our adult kids and granddaughter upstairs. Backyard was enjoyable for coffee and our little one to run around. The pool was a close walk and refreshing. The tennis courts were a nice activity too. We walked about 2 miles to the marina. Angola by bay feels nestled away with large trees surrounding the community yet only a few miles from Safeway and Walmart for anything needed. A quick drive to the beaches. We hope to return to the same cottage. Maggie was easy to communicate with. All was good. Only suggestion is to remember to return the pool passes - we forgot and drove them back.

Exactly as Advertised!

The cottage at Angola by the Bay is exactly as shown on VRBO! Not only is it lovely, but it is fully equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen, all linens and towels, a/c in most rooms if needed, beach chairs and pool passes, and bowls and a few treats for the dog (if you forgot them at home!). When there was no traffic, it was a quick 20 minute drive to the beach! We did experience heavy traffic going to the boardwalk area at rehoboth beach and that extended the drive by at least 15 minutes. Maggie was responsive to questions and quick to respond to me. We had a wonderful stay! Thank you Maggie 👏

The perfect beach house!

Beautifully decorated, spotless, spacious with plenty of comfy couches and a cozy porch to sip your morning coffee! Fully equipped kitchen with all of the amenities you need to make a great dinner! I highly recommend this rental, you will love this special cozy beach house!
