Beautiful place to stay! The views, accommodations, and just all the little touches were amazing! So sad we had to leave. The game room was perfect for indoor downtime. The kitchen had everything we that we needed. The outdoor area will have you in awe. We will miss the fabulous views!

I am not one to typically leave reviews, so I will be brief. It was fabulous in every way. Communication was perfect and the house was even better! It was absolutely beautiful and perfect for the six of us. My wife loved the peace and the kids were entertained with all the different games, etc.Will for sure stay at again.Very clean!

This property is AMAZING! It was everything my husband and I needed for a getaway from our four kids. It was so peaceful and quiet and we were really able to relax and enjoy not being bothered by anything or anyone. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves being off the grid!

This is a great house with excellent amenities. It's a bit off the beaten path, but Doordash still delivers, so that is good. Host was excellent and very helpful.

Highly Recommended for a Private, Relaxing Getaway!As seasoned family travelers who do deep research before booking, we were incredibly impressed with this property. Our family of five had plenty of space to relax and enjoy a quiet vacation away from the crowds.The Pros:Reliable Amenities: Flawless AC, hot water, water pressure, exterior lights, and Wi-Fi.Immaculate Grounds: Nicely appointed modern furnishings inside, and an exceptionally clean exterior with no bugs or weeds.Stunning Views: Beautiful indoor views and spectacular, all-day outdoor scenery.Great Host: The host is wonderful, kind, and highly responsive.Things to Note:The Drive: It is a formidable uphill drive with no streetlights. One of the two access paths is quite treacherous at night.Location: Very remote; expect at least a 15-minute drive to get to most places, i.e. Legoland in nearby Carlsbad takes 40 minutes.Guest Capacity: The ad lists space for 10, but we recommend 8 maximum. A group of 6 is the true sweet spot for comfort.

Nice little getaway

Stayed here for 2 nights. Loved the secludedness and it's tranquil quiet environment. Your can hear the wildlife at night which only adds to the experience. Beautiful home with amenities for all ages.

Vista Hideaway stay

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an incredible time at the Vista Hideaway! The views of the valley were absolutely stunning, and the property was spotless. The dude room was a major highlight with its awesome game and entertainment options. The backyard space was perfect for relaxing, and we loved having both a pool and hot tub to enjoy. Highly recommend this place for a fantastic getaway!

Perfect Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at the Vista Valley Hideaway! This beautiful home is brand new and had everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and playing a game of pool in the large game room. It’s the perfect place to relax with your spouse or whole family. We loved the big backyard with its views of the surrounding mountains. I can’t recommend this home enough for your next getaway! We will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house! The property is gorgeous - the views of the mountains and valley are stunning. I spent every morning with coffee on the patio, watching hawks and ravens soar on the air currents, listening to the songbirds, and just enjoying the view. We saw coyotes and bunnies and lizards everyday. The fresh air and beauty around are just indescribable. The silence apart from birds is just amazing- it's like your own private retreat way up on top of the mountains. The house itself is comfortable and perfectly set up for vacation guests, with a Keurig and a Nespresso machine, all kinds of coffee and creamers, charging ports for every kind of device in every room, and clear instructions on how to use things. We cooked meals in the kitchen and found everything we needed. We absolutely loved the garage door style windows that could open all the way up to combine indoor and outdoor. The washer and dryer are great quality and easy to use. Also important - comfortable beds and great showers! The house was immaculately clean and very comfortable. They even had blankets to use out by the fire pit if you got cold.Most of the activities we did were in Carlsbad and it's about a 30-minute drive to get there from the house. This did not bother us because we love the house so much and we knew it was going to be a drive back and forth- worth it!This place is absolutely gorgeous and I would stay here again 10/10. We didn't want to leave!

Lovely Spot To Get Away

It's a lovely, modern property, up a pretty out-of-the-way hill. The pictures are very accurate. We stopped in for a couple nights after visiting family, to get away, and had a great time. Unfortunately, it was a little chilly and rainy, so we didn't get too much time outside. But I did sneak out for an hour while we were there, and I highly recommend the hot tub. It's got a great view, and works great.The inside of the place is very clean, and the kitchen seemed pretty nice, although admittedly we kept it pretty simple while we were there. Having laundry machines was great, and the bed was nice and comfortable. We also had a lot of fun remembering how bad we are at pool.The only thing to know is that it's at least a 15 minute car ride to anywhere, so if you're looking for walkability this isn't the right place. But it's an easy 30 minutes to the coast and some very nice beaches, and about the same to the Safari Park (which is amazing).If we're nearby and want a break, we'll definitely be back. Maybe a little later in the year, though, so we can enjoy the pool!
