Welcome to Mansfield!

Home to the Ohio State Reformatory (Shawshank Prison), Mansfield Speedway, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Inkarceration Music & Tattoo Festival, Snow Trails Ski Resort, and so much more!

Step Back into the 1970s

We LOVE all things ’70s! The music, toys, décor, furnishings, colors, and, of course, the vibe! We’ve even included a fun ’70s photo-op wardrobe so you can dress the part.

Experience the things that made this decade iconic. Listen to our collection of music on vinyl, check out our View-Master collection, and explore our huge collection of vintage board games and Fisher-Price Little People that may bring back memories of childhood.

Relax with a good book from our free library, challenge someone to a game of Battleship, or simply enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere.

In addition to the queen bed, we have 2 rollaway beds for total of 4 guests.

Convenient Location

Our rural property offers a peaceful setting while still being close to dining, shopping, and area attractions. We provide a step-free environment and a stocked hot beverage bar with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and all the extras.

We’re conveniently located just off the interstate and close to Snow Trails Ski Resort. The Ohio State Reformatory—better known as Shawshank Prison—is only minutes away, along with the newly renovated Mansfield Speedway for the 2026 season.

Work Crews Welcome!

We WELCOME WORK CREWS and have plenty of parking for oversized vehicles. Our convenient interstate location makes it easy to get around Mansfield and the surrounding area.

Dogs Welcome!

We are dog friendly! There is a fee per dog, per stay, with no size or weight restrictions. Multiple dogs? No problem!

Our Nostalgia House is located above Back to the 70s. This spacious 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath home is inspired by the 1950s and filled with nostalgic treasures spanning from the 1880s through the 1970s.

We enjoyed the apartment and all of its 1970's paraphernalia. I grew up in the area IN the 1970's so it was all a blast from the past. It was clean and loved that they welcomed pets. Check in and check out was easy. We had some trouble with a broken coffee maker and the bed was rather hard. But owners were responsive.

Great Stay!

Excellent location to explore Mohican/Malabar Farms, as well as the surrounding areas. The house is very fun and authentic! They keep it stocked with a huge selection of amenities and I would stay here again!

We had a great stay! The 70s vibes made for an absolutely wonderful experience and the property was very clean and welcoming. We loved it and would definitely recommend and come back again!

Close and convenient to Mid Ohio Sports Car course and very cute place. Very clean and had all kinds of things to make the stay comfortable.

Extremely comfortable and accommodating! They really thought of it all. Adorable vibes. And beautiful scenery 10/10 would stay again. Also really appreciated the accommodations for pets and the recommendations on where to visit locally!

Fun rental outside of Mansfield!

This was one of the best VRBO stays we've had! The decor was whimsical and fun, the unit was very clean and bigger than we'd expected, and the coffee bar and included items were so thoughtful. The area is quiet, yet still very close to Mansfield. Awesome stay!

Well Equipped Retro Accomodations

The location was perfect for our visit with family and the option of bringing our dogs a huge bonus! Barb was very responsive to our questions throughout. We look forward to future stays!

Cool little place. I love that they accept the dogs. Just an idea for the future, maybe somehow put up a dog fence so that the dogs have a yard and don’t have to be out in a leash.

Great spot for great price with awesome hosts

My friend and I drove to Mansfield for photography purposes and had been looking everywhere for a place with 70s style and decor. We didn’t end up staying the night because we live so close but the place is awesome and Barb is very kind and helpful!
