The Parkville Nook

Looking for the perfect place to spend the holidays?

The Nook is a newly renovated, single family home in downtown Parkville. The Nook offers a spacious floor plan, 2 private decks, and a large backyard. It is the perfect place for a couples get away or family vacation.

We offer high speed internet, a full kitchen, washer and dryer and a fire pit! The TV is equipped with an Amazon fire-stick.

We love hosting and offering the perfect get away location! Parkville is the best small town with all of the big city amenities! The Nook is 15 minutes from the Kansas City Airport and just 20 minutes from downtown Kansas City.

Very clean and comfy stay

The property was very clean and was at a beautiful end of a road with a creek running by it. Quiet with comfortable beds. Would stay here again!!

We would highly recommend this property. The host is very kinds, responsive and accommodating. It is a lovely, renovated house in a quiet neighborhood that is comfortable and near the cute town of Parkville. We loved our stay!!

A perfect home for our stay

This home was at the end of a dead end street, so very quiet. Bordered with trees. Loved that it was an easy walk from the historic downtown Parkville, fun for walking. Heather was a perfect host, responded to the couple of questions I had immediately. I'd stay here again, and hope to next time we're visiting the relatives in Parkville.

Great stay at the Nook!

Our family had a great week in downtown Parkville. The house was tidy and well supplied. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and our kids liked the little creek in the backyard.

This is a gem!

This cute house is a gem! It’s at the end of a quiet street backing up to a wooded area. Very peaceful and relaxing. The house was very clean and nicely decorated and was perfect for our stay.

Great Location!

The "Parkville Nook" is such a relaxing home, in a wonderful location. It is nicely appointed with plenty of towels and linens. The area was quiet, and the yard, creek and nearby trees were great! The communication from the host was outstanding! Heather was very timely in providing information. We had a nice time, and definitely plan to return!

Perfect home away from home!

My family and I went to Kansas City for the NFL draft and we all absolutely loved the house!!! It was clean and had everything we needed and more! Beautiful scenery and a cute little creek right next to the house. My kids loved the yard! Would definitely recommend!!!

So much better than a hotel.

Any family of five with growing kids knows you get squeezed out of hotels. This is same number of beds, but much more room to spread out, and in a cute—quiet—part of town. No complaints, just a solid VRBO.

Cozy, quaint house

5 of us stayed here for two nights. We were very comfortable. Didn’t need anything since the house already had everything we needed, nevertheless, Heather still checked in to make sure we had everything. Such a cute place!

Comfortable, restful, pretty place

Simply furnished, restful and very comfortable place! Really nice kitchen area with a big counter ; great if you cook. One of the more comfortable beds I've come across too! Love the little babbling brook in the back yard; it was fun to watch the birds enjoying it. Really nice spot. One note: it's all wood floors, so if you have a dog, bring a couple blankets and a bed for them to lay on.

We loved the place and our stay overall. The only negative was that the floors were very dirty. The bottoms of our feet were completely black after just walking through the house.

Parkville Gem!

What a wonderful getaway and weekend retreat! This is only a couple of blocks from Parkville’s quaint Main Street. Great boutiques and restaurants! By far my favorite part of the trip was the walk along the river and through the City Park!! Breath taking sunrise and great walking paths. We live in the KC area, but this place is perfect for a staycation. The house is so wonderful. Made an amazing breakfast in the well equipped kitchen. The fire pit was filled with wood and ready to enjoy. Thank you so much for sharing this gem!!

Cute Nook

My husband, daughter, and I stayed at the Parkville Nook for a weekend visiting friends. The house is at the end of a dead end road with a peaceful creek, which is ideal for my light sleeper husband. Anything you may need was there in this very updated home. We especially loved the rain shower with the extra handle to control water pressure! We did not need anything during our stay but the host Heather was very easy to get in contact with and seemed more than willing to help if we did not anything. Super close to downtown Parkville where were found great shops and restaurants. Recommend the Stone Canyon Pizza for a meal and my daughter loved the salt water taffy from Old Town Sweets. Overall we would recommend and would come back and stay at the Parkville Nook!
