Amazing lake stay

Listing is not accurate

The listing states there are four bedrooms consisting of two queens, one double, and one twin but there were not. The house is only three bedrooms, one of which is only accessible by exiting the house and going downstairs to a basement bedroom with a double bed with sheets that were too small for the bed. One of the other two bedrooms had a queen bed, and the last bedroom had a set of bunkbeds and a twin bed. We were missing the top sheet on the twin bed, but I contacted them and they dropped one off right away. The inside of the house was fairly clean, but the deck and outside areas were not clean at all. There was dirt, mold and spiderwebs all over the outside of the house and deck area. The cushions on the furniture of the screened in porch were stained and dirty. There was a gas grill and we were able to use it but the portable gas fire pit was out of gas and unable to be used. The bottom of the wooden gate at the top of the dock was rotted to the point the hinges had come off. The location of the home inside a cove at Lake Lure was wonderful - not a lot of boat traffic and even the boats that came in the cove were restricted with a no wake zone so it was great for swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding. Would not recommend for very young children or seniors due to the amount of very steep stairs to get in and out of the house.

Hi Sam Thanks for giving us the opportunity to share our lake house with you,you should see the pictures before you book,also read the list descriptions,yes,lots of steps…,90% lake houses are like this in this area,you will need to exchange the propane gas if it is empty,also we have one full spare propane gas down the stairs if you would let me know There is a big pine trees,provide lots of shed in summer,but also sap falls down to the deck and chairs,it is not dirty or mold,this is part of natural,we have been cleaning and washing….
