The cabin was absolutely beautiful! Our family really enjoyed staying here. The driveway was a little tricky/ steep. Also, we did find it easier to drive to the beach area and walking trails with the dog.

The whole listing needs to be updated. The hot tub is not on the wrap around deck, but instead on the basement level by the driveway (not very appealing). It’s a 3bedroom, not a 4. Not spacious, but crammed.The drains were backed up. And so you’re standing in nastiness. Sheets had stains on them and there was zero detergent to wash them with (we bought some the next day).The address was wrong. No instructions were sent.All eight of their properties have to share the canoe bookings, and we apparently overlapped with another family. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing as far as management. Disappointed with our stay. It was just “meh.”The knife drawer/island is broken and very dangerous!I wish I’d seen updated pictures and the reviews before booking.

Property was a home run from reservation to departure. The description and imagery were accurate, the rate was fair, and communications with the owners were seamless and timely. Check-in was smooth and the directions provided got our family to the house without issue. Layout was PERFECT for our group: two families with kids, Grandma and a family dog. Each set of adults had a separate bedroom on their own floor, and the kids had the game/bunk room all to themselves. The wrap around porch was ideal for small kids and the dog, grilling, meals at the picnic table, or just sitting on the porch swing. The interior living spaces were great for family meals, movie nights, or playing games. The entire family loved the private beach and playing in the river - we were there every day. The house was close to the zip line course, grocery store, and just a bit further to Lake Lure Beach, Chimney Top, and great hiking. We saw plenty of deer, turkeys, chipmunks, birds and even a small black bear. We didn’t fish but saw plenty at the lake. This property was a 10/10 for us and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent again.

This cabin was just as described. Loved the wood interior. Came for a funeral and loved that it was big enough for myself and my adult children and their children. Would stay again in happier times. Thank you for the accomodations.

5 star stay

5 star cabin all the way around. Great and private location, clean and comfortable, outside area is perfect for relaxing and the hot tub was great.

Great Cabin

Our family really enjoyed staying at this cozy cottage. It was clean, quiet, and great proximity to all amenities. It had plenty of space and the 3 separate floors allowed for privacy for each family. We highly recommend!

Great family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Great home to stay in and there is plenty to do in the area - hiking trails, Chimney Rock, horseback riding and Hickory Nut Falls to name a few. Would recommend it to anyone. Thanks!

Our stay

It was a beautiful place could have had more than 2 towels a couple for 4 nights but we made due. Other than that it was a great place

Great Stay in Riverbend!

We had an amazing time! The cabin was clean and spacious! Huge wraparound deck with a porch swing and rocking chairs that we enjoyed nightly. The swimming hole and river in the community were so much fun. Close to lake lure and chimney rock. Overall a great stay!

A delightful cabin!

We truly enjoyed our stay here! The cabin is well laid out with plenty of room for everyone. We LOVED spending evenings on the wrap around porch playing games and grilling out. It is remote enough to really feel like you can "get away from it all", but close enough to things like restaurants, shops, grocery store, hiking, and lake activities.

sweet cabin for our artist's retreat

I hosted a weekend artist's retreat with fellow photographer and musician friends. The cabin was perfect for it. The owners were helpful and communicative.

Family friendly

Family Getaway

Property was secluded and quiet. Everything was neat and clean and smelled nice. Had a hick up with lock box for key but was quickly corrected. Location was close to several adventure spots and local restaurants were very tasty and priced affordable. We will stay here again.
