Great stay

Great location and just a walk to the beach. Definitely would stay here again and recommend to our family and friends.

Check in was painless. Property was exactly like described and it was very clean. We had the perfect amount of room for our family of 6 and our one year old.

We enjoyed our stay. There were a few items left behind from prior guest. The house was exactly as pictured. Easy check in and easy check out.

Wonderful house and location

Lovely house friendly neighborhood perfect location and the owners were very nice and hospitable a storm came in and they came by to check on everyone and thing. Would definitely come back thank you.

Great beach house

House was very spacious, beautiful views, we loved the back porch in the evenings. Location was great, pet friendly, and we took our dog, Wolfie, out to the point on the beach every evening to play with the other dogs. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you!!!

Perfect Getaway

The spacious house and location were perfect for our group. We especially enjoyed the screened porch overlooking the canal and the rooftop deck. Plenty of space for a crowd to spread out. Sleeps 10 comfortably. We would rent this property again.

Other than the factors mentioned, was there other points that can be improved upon? We didn’t hear from you during your stay so just wanted to check! This is an older beach home, however, we do provide a clean and sanitized vacation property with views for days that provides the perfect backdrop for a fun family getaway! Perfect for our family

We loved this house. Plenty of seating. I lived on the back porch. That was my favorite place. We rented a golf cart bc of my elderly parents to take back and forth to beach. We will rent one the next time just to ride around. House could use a little love. Paint and new appliances would take it to another level but it was perfect for us. Would definitely rent again.

Property was nice .they had little ant problem in the kitchen. They did not have any towels like it said. But I think the clean Service that they is sorry

Renter Beware

Great location and house layout but the photos are deceiving. Lots of differed maintenance. Ceilings, walls & cabinets peeling and dirty. A deep cleaning is necessary. Mattresses on the first floor are deplorable and we were told to just use the other 2 bedrooms. Linens and towels old and stained. Management was notified of all issues and repaired only what the owner authorized. Very Disappointed since we rented this 4 bedroom house for the month.

Christine, we appreciate you staying with us at our waterfront NMB channel home that many families have enjoyed year after year. Your reservation contract stated you had one guest for a four bedroom, two bath home, which apparently was false. It was very obvious from the beginning that our cozy, well-loved, traditional channel-front home was not the best fit for your expectations. We pride ourselves in providing a welcoming, clean vacation home and that’s what was offered here, despite this review. Thanks again for staying and good luck in your future VRBO stays.

Not worth the money

My family and I were super excited to be vacationing in cherry Grove again! As soon as we got there my husband found glass all around the car port area of the house. And not just a few pieces like the people before us were smashing beer bottles and just leaving the glass behind. Contacted owner about the glass had to text him pictures and all he said was thanks for letting me know. Didn't send anyone over to clean it up. Mind you we had 4 kids with us. There was trash all around the outside. Grass hadn't been mowed (permanent neighbors had someone come mow the grass while we were there because it was an eye sore). The bare minimum was done by the management company to ensure the place was cleaned properly and properly maintained for safety. Inside the house by the air vents was caked in black stuff not sure if it was mold or just really really dirty. Stairs and other things werent properly fixed when they broke. Someone had made coffee and left the old coffee and filter in the maker and it was moldy and gross. I developed a cough and became very congested while I stayed there. We are very unsatisfied with this experience and will never rent from beach life vacation rentals again.

Amanda, First of all, thanks for being our guest. We heard from you on the day of check in but never one time after about any of your concerns, so this review is both surprising and disappointing. Communication between a VRBO guest and host is key! Our vacation home in no way, shape, or form EVER deserves a 1 star review. In fact, the guest that checked out on the day you checked in gave this property a five star review! Many wonderful families have enjoyed our large waterfront channel home through the years and it has provided as a backdrop to their North Myrtle Beach, SC memories. Any of your concerns, we would have been happy to fix, but instead you left it all for the review. Very disappointing and not fair. This home has been well loved by the owners’ family and many visitors that have given many high ratings via multiple booking channels. Thanks again for visiting and we hope you enjoyed your visit to North Myrtle Beach.

On arrival the house was not throughly clean. Found utensils stained with chocolate moose,

Very convenient for family vacation though bathrooms are not enough for big family gathering. The coffee maker and the toaster is not functioning. Based on my last vacation home experience, this one is a bit disappointing. But we managed to have fun.

The house was cleaned prior to your arrival and the utensils you found have been addressed. We pride ourselves in five star cleaning practices and that is not acceptable. Regarding the coffee maker and toaster, we will definitely check those out, however, neither was mentioned to us when we spoke to you multiple times during your stay. If mentioned, we would have been happy to replace them personally. As a premier VRBO host and AIRBNB super host, we pride ourselves in five star reviews, so this review is disappointing. Many wonderful families have been enjoying this beautiful waterfront vacation home all Summer. This is an older but well-loved family beach home so maybe it was not what you were expecting. We do appreciate you being our guest. Thank you!
