Newly remodeled, clean modern yet cozy cottage on the north end of Lake Lanier. Everything is brand new - appliances, HVAC, electrical, etc. Bedroom with comfy queen bed. Second bedroom with bunk bed. Large tile shower w/ multi-jet shower head. Gas fireplace inside, firepit outside. Large yard for playing horseshoes or bocce ball (provided). BBQ Grill with everything needed. Lake is short walk away across wooded 10 acre lot and public boat launch is less than 3 miles away. Less than 30 minutes from Helen, Dahlonega, North Georgia wineries and hiking trails.

Fishing Fun

This is the third time I have stayed here while on a fishing trip with a bass boat. It is a really great place to stay. Always clean and very nice!

Cute and Comfortable

We had the best weekend at this property! This is a convenient, quiet location. Everything we needed was provided and the big yard was safe for our dog. We even saw several deer at dusk!

Beautiful Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was great, and as expected. It was clean, cozy, and full of the little things that made it feel more homie. The fireplace was an added bonus, especially getting into the winter months in Atlanta. I would definitely recommend! Thanks again Paul, your place is awesome!

Mike and Emily's wedding

The property was perfect for us! The weather was chilly but the fireplace made it cozy for us! The host even put together a basket for s'mores. There were plenty of thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. The area was quiet, so getting a good night sleep after all our events was welcoming. We enjoyed our stay.

Exceeded our expectations

The lake cottage was adorable. It was clean and updated. My favorite feature was the sliding shower door! It had everything we needed. The lake was just a short walk through the woods. We saw deer every day we were there. Nice quiet neighborhood, too.

Nice cabin

All appliances are new, the cabin is in good condition and is clean, It's a quiet neighborhood. There's a nice yard with room to walk a dog.

Absolutely Wonderful!

The cottage was gorgeous - clean and welcoming, with a location that was incredibly convenient for us. Owners were friendly and helpful, with great communication and truly above and beyond service. We will definitely be staying here again!

Sweet and spotless cottage

This darling little house is perfect for a single, couple, or small family. Looking somewhat rustic from the outside, indoors is all modern convenience. The host included lovely touches like snacks near the tv and wine and chocolates in the bedroom. He maintained good communication and answered questions quickly. The only drawback to the layout of the house is that you have to walk across the living room to get from the bedrooms to the bathroom. This didn't bother me since I was by myself. All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with my choice of vacation getaway!

Superb place to stay - Highly Recommend

Very pleased with my four night stay here. Up-to-date kitchen with all the amenities, nice bedrooms, a gas fireplace which kept the place quite warm, more than adequate bathroom, nice property and a firepit outside. Excellent location, near what you need but also very quiet. Host provided excellent touches above and beyond. The next time I visit Gainesville, this will be the first place I check.

Another great stay at the bear cabin

This location is very convenient to a lot of things but situated in a nice quiet neighborhood. The property is very clean and well maintained. I have stayed here twice with no issues. A very pleasant experience.

Best short term rental we’ve been to!

This rental is the cleanest and decorated the cutest of all the rentals we’ve had! It was so comfortable feeling and the bed was perfect. Coming from someone with major back issues, that really says something. The snacks and treats Paul left for us were a nice surprise and really appreciated! We stayed here while visiting family in the area and I would highly recommend it !

Nice, clean, cottage, in a nice area

Stayed here to visit some family in the area for Christmas. The area was quiet and the cottage was clean, so I have no complaints outside of one minor one. The outside floodlight seems to be really sensitive. Like it will also notice you if you open the door to step out of the master bedroom. Had an issue one night where it came on and stayed on pretty much the whole night (ruining my sleep for that night). Recommend to the owner of the property to look at that or install blackout curtains (honestly should anyway in case you are jet lagged and want to sleep in). Other than that, no other issues or complaints over the property and stay.

Excellent Stay

Paul’s cottage was a wonderful place to stay while in town visiting family. Clean, cute, and was even decorated for the holidays. Excellent alternative to a hotel stay. Highly recommend.

Loved this place! It’s such a cute little home, the kitchen was a dream to cook in, bed was 10/10 comfortable! No complaints at all! Stayed for 6 days, could have stayed longer!

Super experience

Paul’s is a fabulous host! The house is tucked into a quiet neighbor and was spotless. WiFi, coffee and even a glass of wine was waiting when I arrived. New appliances in the kitchen… this is a great place to stay when you are business or pleasure.

Perfect Place

This is my second stay in this Cottage and it won't be my last I have reasons to return to that area at least once a year and I'm so thrilled that I found this place instead of the hotel that I usually stay at it's lovely the grounds are great it's comfortable. has everything that I need and my dog is perfectly happy there I hated to leave but my next stop was the mountains in North Carolina but I shall return .thank you Paul thank you vrbo . thank you
