Unit A-412: An airy, open floor plan and a location just steps to Kamaole Beach Park III combine to make this a popular Kihei vacation property. The spacious residence measures over 1100 square feet , with 2 bedrooms, 2 new bathrooms and a private lanai (patio). Your deluxe condominium offers you the privacy and comfort of your own home. We are the owners and we give the commission discount directly to our guests.

The condo has two master bedrooms, a large living room and dining room, a new fully equipped kitchen (with granite countertops), a clothes washer and dryer inside, and air conditioning in each room.

The sleeping arrangements are (Sleeps up to 5):
Bedroom #1 has one king-size bed and a private bathroom with shower and large bathtub.
Bedroom #2 has two twin (single) beds and a private bathroom with shower.
The living room has one queen sofa bed.

This condominium is a south-facing, end-unit which gives our guests both extra windows and extra sunlight. With the vaulted ceiling and open floor plan, this residence has lots of light and an oversized feel. A-412 is located on the 'quieter' back side of the of the first building in the complex... this minimizes the street noise as well as offering a bit of privacy. A-412 also has a "peek" view of the ocean through the buildings.

Haleakala Shores has a private swimming pool which sparkles in the garden setting. Your condo is quiet and peaceful; it does not receive street noise or noise from the pool.

Haleakala Shores is an attractive property located across the street from one of Maui's best beaches, Kamaole Beach Park III. The "3 Kamaoles", Kamaole Beach I, II, and III, are 3 wonderful beaches (Kihei's largest) for all kinds of water activities. They have excellent swimming, snorkeling, diving, and sunbathing only 200 yards from your doorstep.

I include tax/cleaning in all prices for stays of 5 nights or longer. Stays of 4 nights or less must add $210 cleaning fee. And VRBO adds a "service fee" directly to the guest. I cannot precalculate this fee in my per night rates and I never see this fee; it goes directly to VRBO.

Great home base for visiting the whole island! Comfortable. Had everything we needed and more. Spacious and quiet. Bill answered any questions I had right away.

Amazing location

Across from Kam III beach. Close to dining and Wailea. Condo is clean and comfortable. Complex is quiet and well maintained. We plan to stay again.

Great location and quiet condo

We loved our stay! Beds were comfortable, house was fully stocked with beach toys, chairs, towels etc. a few things to be aware of- the parking spot is horrible! Very hard to get in and out of. And the pool has very strict rules- no inflatables, no music, and no games. Other than that, our stay was perfect and no complaints!

Cute place to sleep

Easy access to multiple beaches, dining, shopping, etc. the place was clean and well kept. The condo has blankets, boogie boards, beach umbrella/chairs, a couple small beach coolers, and snorkeling equipment.. all of which we were grateful we didn’t have to purchase or rent

Have a great overall experience. Owner was easy to contact and answered questions quickly. Unit was in a great location and had plenty of beach accessories. Unit was clean and comfortable for our family. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Maui.

Nice location,couldn't enjoy the pool due to covid rules no more then 10 people.

Overall nice place to stay, we extended an extra day which was no hassle process. Wish the 2nd room had an ac unit too, came with most of the amenities you would need for your stay.

Wonderful Stay

Great experience: Walk to the beach in 2 minutes, very roomy, well equipped. airy and comfy. Top floor benefit: High Ceiling, very quiet, and wonderful views. Only complain: the photos on Vrbo don't show how good this unit actually it is! Already recommend this property to my friends and families. For us, we will rebook next time when we are visiting Maui. Wonderful location

Right across the street from the beach. Owner is excellent to work with. We could not have enjoyed our stay more. Parking is a little tight for a large vehicle but we parked a BMW suv with no problem. Just follow the owners instructions which are very thorough down to the TV. I sincerely hope to return to this condo.

Mahalo nui loa Bill!!! My family and I had a wonderful relaxing stay at your unit. The instructions were excellent we found it with no problems. There was everything and more that we could have asked for there. I like the size of the property and how comfortable we felt there. The unit was a perfect size also there was more than enough room for the 5 of us. We look forward to returning soon!!!

December in Paradise

Bill’s condo was just perfect for an extended stay with my mother who is wheel chair bound. The unit is well stocked with everything; books, games, beach gear and loads of kitchen gadgets and pantry items for those who love to eat in. Molly, the on-site building manager is really attentive and went above an beyond to make sure we enjoyed our visit. We enjoyed our time so much we extended our stay for another month and were disappointed we couldn’t stay in Bill’s unit (it was booked) but we did stay in the building!

Great condo

Great condo for a great price and Location is amazing! Owner is very responsive and allowed early check in which was nice. We’re glad the complex has an elevator since the condo is on the 4th floor and some days we were exhausted! On mellow days we really enjoyed the pool. The Beds are comfortable and the condo had everything we needed during our week here. The only negative (which is not the owners fault) there’s an extremely nosy neighbor who spys on everyone to make sure you are following all the rules and to boss you around… at times it was odd because he’d be just watching us walk around or while in the pool & asked if we knew the rules many times even while we were following the rules🤷🏼‍♀️ He must be very bored with his retirement 😂 Overall, We really enjoyed our stay, Mahalo!

Perfect!

This condo was perfect for us. It is just as pictured, very clean, comfortable, and in a safe environment- just across the street from a great beach and several more within easy walking distance. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and was beautiful. There were many fans, which worked very well, with the windows open, to keep the place cool. The a/c was only needed for a short time when we first arrived. Several shopping areas were within walking distance. The grand bonus was all the beach equipment available for use: masks, fins, chairs, towels, mats, cooler, boogie boards... The only thing we had to bring or rent were the snorkels- very inexpensive to rent at Snorkel Bob's, and fun to meet Sue there. The owner of this condo was very helpful, upfront, and quick to respond as we prepared for this amazing vacation!

Everything you need!

This home had everything we needed. Plenty of cookware, kitchen accessories, plates cups and more! The bedrooms had comfy beds, extra linens, towels and all the beach toys you need. Plenty of beach chairs, shade umbrella's, boogie boards, snorkel masks and fins! The patio/lanai faced a neighboring complex looking over the tennis courts which provided entertainment while having breakfast in the mornings. This unit is near the community area w/ a pool and BBQ area (great & clean BBQ's!). The grounds and community area are very well cared for and cleaned every day. This is our 2nd stay in the complex and we love being across the street from a great beach & park with grassy areas, picknick benches, bathroom and showers overlooking a sandy beach that is great for snorkeling, small surf and snorkeling with pleanty of turtles to be seen every day. Its walking distance to coffee, cafe's restaurants, shopping and surf rentals. We will be back!

This condo was very comfortable to stay at.

This condo was very comfortable to stay at. We are a family of four with two very young toddlers so we definitely had to watch them as it is not so baby proof. King sized bed was fairly comfortable, a little bouncy but still slept all night. Using the ceiling fans and condo fan did not work to cool down the place during the afternoon and ac took awhile to cool the place due to vaulted ceilings but it did get comfortable and some nights we were able to just open the windows and use fans and we're comfortable. Great location with walking distance to beach and close to shops and restaurants. Not much of an ocean view but stilled a peek and the price was awesome. Bill is definitely a great owner and very helpful and honest and nice. Great little condo. The parking spot is tight but still fine to just back into just watch out when you come out to not hit any oncoming cars. Nice that parking is close to condo.

Awesome [period]!

This condo was so awesome I do not know where to start. The owner, Bill, is very helpful and communicative throughout the booking process and the stay. Upon arrival, we were enthralled with the beauty of the floral-lined walkways and convenience of the condo. The BEST family-friendly beach on the island is located just steps from the condo. I was traveling with my husband and sons, ages 21 and 7. We all had a wonderful experience and long to live in this very condo! Every day, we would walk to the beach and enjoy boogie boarding until we became hungry. A green sea turtle even greeted us while we were swimming in the pristine waters. We would explore the island and return to the condo for our walk back to the beach to see the magnificent sunset. There is a lovely pool, and the other owners/guests were very friendly. The accommodations were superb and well-equipped. It was obvious that Bill is very conscientious about providing a comfortable haven for his guests.

Wonderful host, great unit

Bill was a pleasure to deal and made sure that all of the necessities were in the unit. My family (me, my wife, and my 7 year old son) had a great time. Beds were comfortable. Building is conveniently located. Everything in the unit worked well. Lots of extras like full snorkel equipment, beach chairs, an umbrella, beach mats, towels, floaties, boogie boards, and more. Everything in the kitchen worked well. TV was a bit finnicky, but we weren't there to watch TV. Wifi worked well. Two sets of keys was greatly appreciated. Pool use at the complex is a bit...underwhelming. The signage might as well say "no fun." We aren't rowdy by any stretch, but a family with kids in the 7-10 range were there when we were there and just tossing a ball around - not making a big ruckus, but having a bit of fun, and the assistant manager came out to tell them not to. Sure, those are the rules, but one can't help but wonder why. Small issue and easily resolved by going to the beach 100 metres away. Lots of decent food nearby (Fred's was good for breakfast, Coconuts for tacos, etc) - most of it a short walk. Convenient location to go play golf at Wailea. Overall, no complaints and very happy with the unit and would be happy to return. Thanks for letting us stay!

Amazing place to say in South Kihei!

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for my first trip to Maui! Communication was very easy and we were provided a PDF file of everything we needed to know. Checking in was a breeze, no in-person contact needed which was great as we arrived at 10pm. A lot of the reviews talk about the assigned parking space so we decided to park outside on the grass. It was great because it was shaded with lots of room but if you have a low car be careful of the tree roots as there were many times we scraped our front bumper on them. The condo itself was amazing! It had various appliances, utensils, shampoo & conditioner, and so many beach accessories!! There were various snorkelling equipment, beach chairs, boogie boards, pool floats, umbrella, mats, etc. If you stay here you do not have to worry at all about equipment! One thing we really loved about the condo was how sound proof is it. Once we shut the door to the main bedroom you could barely hear anyone talking in the second bedroom, even with the lanai doors open. This was a huge bonus! The location was perfect for us because we planned to go out to explore everyday so we were far out enough from the main shopping centre so we never had to deal with traffic. There is a beach across the condo that is pretty nice, but is not our favourite because it is really rocky at some points. Be careful on the rocks because unfortunately a wave hit me pretty hard and I lost a toe-nail on a rock! But this beach had so many turtles when we were swimming close to shore, it was amazing to see! Overall I couldn’t recommend this place enough, we will absolutely be coming back whenever we come to Maui again!

The condo is perfect. Well stocked and very very clean. Great host!!!!! Easy to get to condo. Corner condo with a pool view as well as a ocean. Everything was great inside the condo. They have spices seasoning and all kinds. We left stuff as well to help the next family coming in. Super comfortable master bed!!! OMG!!!!! I have already looked at other dates to stay here again. The over all Property Manager who lives on site super rude. Not nice and very noisy. Kept coming by our door and listening to us. I opened the front door a couple of times and he was standing at it. Telling me we needed to keep the noise down because people lived there for 25 years and they don’t wanna hear all this racket!!! My grandson was laughing and playing at 11:30 am the first time then again at 8 pm. Super weird. He kept walking around the pool area grumbling and then shut the pool down for 2 days to put Chlorine in it but he did say that he didn’t want these many people at the pool. There was my family for 4 another couple and another family. All well spaced out. There is a sign in the main office that effective May 14th you no longer have to reserve the pool area you just needed to wear a face covering and that the pool area was open from 9 AM to 9 PM. On Sunday at 8:05 PM he was kicking everybody out of the pool. In whole I would stay here again and again. Location is great I probably wouldn’t bring my grandson if I came back here or I don’t recommend having kids at this location if the on site manager is the same.

Great Place for our Family

This was a super spot for our family of 6. It was a very short walk to the beach and an easy drive both north and south along the southwest coast of Maui. Owner is easy to communicate with and responsive. The condo complex was quiet. We really appreciated having boogie boards & beach chairs (they aren't the newest) but all worked and our family enjoyed not having to rent them. The kitchen is stocked with bowls, plates, cups, mugs, pans, etc., to make eating-in easy to do. I also appreciated having few blue ice containers for the cooler on days we were gone for a while and we could take snacks to go. Our biggest challenge was the assigned parking. We had a larger car (Honda Pilot) for our family and it is a tight squeeze getting in! We got better as the days went by, but sometimes we just parked on the street by the complex if we were leaving again. Certainly nothing to do about that, but be aware if you are getting a bigger car. The washer and dryer work great, but they are compact so no doing large loads of laundry like at home! Fine for vacation. All our children are older now, but if you have small children, there are a few books and games you might have to move up but overall the place is younger children friendly. There is an elevator to help you get up the 4 flights of stairs with luggage and children in tow! We would certainly stay here again, especially for the price and location. Thanks for sharing your place! COVID items: You can use the grills and pool at the complex but you have to sign-up for them. The grills were not highly used, so that was easy to do. We didn't use the pool, but it was empty almost the whole time we were there. Restaurants were open but eating outside. Masks required at all places of business. Some people wore masks on the beach. More people wore them when walking around town. Overall the island was less busy than when we went there pre-COVID which was kinda nice! If you have all your test results and COVID screenings uploaded, the airport check-in went smoothly.

A wonderful stay that will be hard to beat

What a wonderful find! Seriously,my favorite rental to date. This condo fit our needs perfectly. From the beginning,communication was always fast and helpful. I found rates to be very reasonable. The condo itself is an end unit.You can either use the steps right there or walk (maybe?) 25 yards to the elevator- recommended for move in/check out/Costco shops! Lol- I used the stairs a lot to work off gelato,shave ice,etc.. The cross breezes combined w/ fans really do a nice job keeping the unit comfortable. We did use the AC a few times but it's only necessary for short periods of time. It was nice to have the option,but even nicer to not really need! Beds are on the firm side but we all slept well. Pillows are a little flatter than what I use at home. Bathrooms were stocked with good towels and had a hair dryer if you need. Good water pressure but stationary ,not hand held shower head. Living room very spacious and the furniture is comfortable.(Chairs recline back too). Nice TV with plenty of channels. We ate all but one meal on the spacious patio rather than inside at the DR table. Kitchen was by far the best stocked of any home rental I have ever booked. He had everything I could have needed right down to tupperware,measuring spoons,and spices.Plenty of everything! This is a huge plus in my eyes. I hate having to buy necessities you have no inclination to bring home with you-especially in such an expensive place to grocery shop. We added a few unopened things to the stash when we left. The cleaning supplies are accessible and we were able to stay tidy,esp sweeping sand up. The pool area is definitely quiet and people who live here will not hesitate to call out noise . We knew this in advance and did spend two nights at a large resort so the kids had fun in a pool..but we used this pool a few times with no problems personally. I would be remiss to not admit the parking spot is not easy,but got used to it quickly-if you have a backup camera it's fine! Across from Kam3 beach,which we loved.A great supply of everything you need for a day at the beach is waiting for you. In closing- this vacation will be hard to beat. We are all looking forward to visiting again and I wouldn't bother researching other rentals when that time comes. Simply a magical trip with a wonderful home base. Mahalo!!

I reside in beautiful Lake Tahoe, California and visit my condominium in Maui every 6 months. I enjoy skiing, scuba diving, and the great snorkeling of South Maui.

I wanted to own a place near my Maui ohana, and where I could walk to a great beach in flip-flops. I didn't want to have to drive anywhere. I also wanted to be in South Kihei where the beaches are large and the water is clear and beautiful. There is good snorkeling right at our beach, Kamaole Beach Park 3, and only a short walk to Kamaole Beach Park 2. In addition, one can walk to restaurants, shopping, and even a convenience store. The area is teaming with life and locals enjoy our park on weekends.

I loved this condominium because it has a two story ceiling and it is an end unit, so it is extra sunny with nice cross breezes. It is also very large for a Maui condominium; you'll love that. It is one of the best locations; it is in the back corner facing away from both streets which makes it very quiet!
