Better than expected!!!! Our room was spacious and super clean. Loved all the shops, restaurants, etc. So much to do. Great place for all ages.

One of the hot tubs didn’t look very inviting. The property is beautiful, the room was fantastic with the exception of the bed. I don’t think it should be rated 5 star because of the comfort of the bed. I was hoping for a great nights sleep. The bed could certainly use an upgrade or a nice foam topper. Both my husband and I have had back aches from not being comfortable. The pools were beautiful, although I do wish they would heat the pools this time of year. The balcony was fantastic. We love this place overall and would return if the bed is upgraded. Thank you for sharing your place with us .

Excellent vacation spot

We stayed at the Grand Sandestin, it was a wonderful, wonderful vacation place. The room was excellent, very clean and exactly what we expected from the pictures. The RealJoy company was awesome, they were able to answer any questions that I had. We are going to book this room again next year. The room, weather, beach and water were all awesome.

Exceeded our expectations!

The place looked beautiful online, but we loved it even more when we got here! The parking garage and reserved beach parking made life a lot easier! I loved that getting to the beach was very easy and stress free and the pool at the resort was wonderful! So beautiful! We watched a movie and fireworks at the wharf and loved being able to walk around the wharf at night! It was a great vacation!!!

Grand Sandestin is a beautiful property. Suite was dated and floors felt sticky , dishwasher “loose” as in moved around in the space. Updating , more concentrated cleaning of veranda and floors suggested. Bay town Warf fun.

Outdated. Modern ish furnishings & fixtures, bad taste, didn’t fit, no beach feel at all. White couch & chairs really need replacing, they’ve been well used, abused. There were spare sheets but no blanket for the couch sleeper. Kitchen needs updates. Bathroom needs paint. Looks like no one has ever cleaned the light switch in there, gross. The balcony was furnished nice, very comfortable. Checkin was confusing, done at the front gate. We were early to hang out at the marina for marlin tournament, got a temp pass that blew out of the window at the 2nd round about. Wasn’t about to go thru the gate process again, thankfully it didn’t seem to matter. Didnt understand where to park at the building, there was no front desk nor staff to ask. “Under construction” Sat in our car at the entrance for 30 minutes waiting for a text response. Called to figure out that we had to pay 10, get a QR code to get in parking garage shared by other buildings. Parking spaces were very tight, confusing where to park. We weren’t the only guests confused. Didn’t go to the pool, shared w/ other buildings, sounded crowded. Very conveniently located to the shops & marina, that was great. Wanted to rent a golf cart but only certain rental companies were permitted, never could figure out which ones. We won’t stay at this building again unless we have no choice. We booked last minute, only 1 BR unit w/ balcony available with what looked like a full size fridge but wasn’t.

Wonderful Location

The community was great. We have never stayed Bay Side before and we will likely do it again. The place was clean when we arrived. There was confusion on parking and how to access it. I was not initially sent the information, but once I called the property manager they sent me the number I needed to gain access to parking. There was also an issue with Parking at the Beach. While we were there it appears the HOA cha fed the rules and designated parking area for San Destin Members and their Guests. They said we needed a card or special number and this was new and the Owners nor the Management were aware. There were other guests dealing with the same issues. Again, great community and location, place was clean, we were happy!
