Fantastic place to stay!

We had a great week at this condo, snorkeling as much as possible, walking into town and being able to experience Cozumel on our own terms. The Lawsons provide any information you might need, and the condo has many amenities.

Great location

We had a wonderful stay at the studio. I love the small condo complex. The unit is very nice. The pool is great! The owner was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Cute clean fun place!

We really enjoyed our stay in this studio. It is very clean, fun decor, cozy and has everything you need!! The Murphy bed is very comfortable!! It is in a great location…easy nice walk to town! Pool and beach area is clean and quiet! We had a great relaxing stay! And owners were great to work with…very responsive!

One of the best views on the island!

I have stayed at a lot of different places on the island and this view takes the cake. The tiny condo was perfect! We had everything we needed and had such an easy time checking in and out, despite delays getting to the island. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to rent here!!

Cozemel trip

We loved being here,your place just makes us smile.we had so much fun snorkeling off the property. I was not feeling well when i got thereAnd laura had a cab come right away and take me to the doctors. I started feeling better after that.the movies you left for you guest were fun.The view was incredible. Thank you for sharing your property.

Great View with great snorkeling

My wife and I (Lori/Mike) stayed in this nice and clean studio apt for 8 nights. Snorkeled and saw a lot of beautiful fish at the apartment complex. The Murphy Bed helps to make more room. Well clean and everything worked. Everything we needed was there. Very beautiful view of the ocean and unobstructed.-Mike

Amazing studio for 2

This studio is small, no doubt, however it is perfect for 2 people. You only spend your time sitting on the balcony enjoying the amazing views or on the man made beach. It is a perfect walk to town(centro). Everything was wonderful

Studio Blitz

Fabulous studio apartment with great access to town, snorkeling and dining. Loved my whole experience and dream at least once a week about going back. The property manager was so accommodating, kind and very knowledgeable

Great stay

Small but mighty! That’s how I can summarize it. Beautiful view. Laura and Marcelo were just the best. I had a couple of mishaps and they were on the ball ready to help. Will definitely be back.

Spectacular!

This was our first trip to Cozumel and this was the perfect location! Just a short walk up the street from down town area yet very quiet and private. The home is very compact just as advertised and exactly how we wanted it. The views are unmatched! There is nothing better than seeing the ocean when you wake up and watch the sun set before bed. We will be back

Perfect for one!

Stayed here as a solo traveler and loved it. It’s small as a lot of reviews say, but it’s perfect for 1 or 2. I only stayed in my room to shower, sleep or charge my phone. Beautiful water right outside and perfect for snorkeling. Great location and easy to hail a taxi. Walk 10 min down the road to La Monina for the best ceviche and cocktails. Bring a swimsuit and lounge by their beach. Have Laura organize a private driving tour of the island. Well worth the money.

Colorful studio on the ocean.

Cantamar 302 decorated with bright colors and appointed in Mexican culture. The studio has a wonderful view of the ocean and never ending water activity. While the studio is small in size definitely decorated to compensate for square footage. Good size for two folks. We like to be able to cook some local dishes and The was plenty of cookware and cutlery. We enjoyed our five days. Quick to attend when we had the water leak.

Thanks for your thoughtful comments. It is indeed small but very well equipped. But with a price that is 40% of comparable 2 bedroom condos on the ocean, it must be viewed as a high value well equipped option for the budget minded couple or individual.

Super Location! Perfect for two!

I’m not sure we could have picked a better place. A beautiful pool just a few steps from a beautiful ocean. Convenient to town and some really nice restaurants. The host did a great job laying out the island along with recommendations for dining and things to do and see. The unit has a spectacular view of a beautiful and active harbor. The building is quiet and we felt like we were the only ones there! We used the kitchenette a couple nights and found everything we needed to prepare a meal for two. It is an efficient style room and as such, is quite cozy. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to re-book this home in the future.

1st time in Cozumal, loved it!!! Great island vibe, clean safe great snorkeling out front.

4 .5 **** Loved Cantamar, Jill has equipped the studio with all the best in essentials. Loved the location very walkable to town and restaurants. Do rent bikes for a few days or a a scooter for a few days., very safe great bike lanes. Island is very doable to visit it all and worth the time. Was pleasantly surprised how clean and safe Cozumel is!! Bought fish and veggies at the market awesome do visit. Really outstanding place only issue was this is not an adult only condo, we did encountered loud Families with loud children who forget it is also other people’s holiday.

Cantamar

We had a fantastic time in Cozumel and absolutely loved your little condo at Cantamar. The location was ideal for us in many ways; just far enough from town to walk, steps away from our scuba diving pick up, and quiet. We really appreciated the thorough list of places to eat, things to do, and not to do, and being welcomed by one of the owners during our stay. When we were at the condo we spent most of our time on the patio, as the view was beautiful overlooking the ocean and the pool. It was perfect for 2 people and we hope to return. Thank you so much. Perfect!

We absolutely fell in love with Cantamar Condos! Everything about our stay was perfect! The location in the north end was just enough out of town for the neighborhood to be quiet and peaceful yet a quick walk downtown and to 2 great restaurants (La Monina and Hemingway’s). The studio was small but wonderful, perfect for a couple. It was clean and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony is stunning! The snorkeling was truly the best that we experienced and we snorkeled all over the island. Our only regret was not booking this studio for our entire trip! Jill and Laura were very easy to contact and always quick to respond with any questions. We will ABSOLUTELY be back again and again!

Paradise in Cozumel!

We spent a glorious six days at this most-beautiful and very private spot which is wonderfully maintained inside and out. We loved seeing the fishing boats head out in each direction early in the morning, along with teams rowing wooden canoes right past our place. The hosts provide a comprehensive description of restaurants with their ratings of them, plus information on where to get groceries, how to arrange for excursions or car rental, etc. We felt very well taken care of. The walk to the town is about a mile, along a lovely walkway, with restaurants and a convenience store along the way. We didn't have a car and walked back and forth each day. Do rent a car and drive to the other side of the island -- we had great very fresh fish at a beach restaurant there after visiting a Mayan ruin. We highly recommend this place -- it is well furnished with everything you might need.
