You will be immersed in the beauty and peacefulness of the Flint Hills. There is complete privacy here, other than the deer and turkey that wander around the property. You can enjoy the outdoors and rural nature of the area, but still the modern amenities like premium Satellite TV and air conditioning as well as WIFI. The property is beautiful and the homes are decorated with antiques from the owners personal collection. This is NO MOTEL

We came here for a quiet getaway and it was the perfect place. Property and the cottage was so beautiful and peaceful.

Peaceful country house

Incredible place to stay! Very peaceful. The dirt road to get to the property was extremely muddy the first night as it had just rained but once it dried, it was great!

Marriage getaway

Property was very clean and organized. The decorations in the cottage were very neat and gave a great historical perspective of the property and area. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Beautiful setting in the countryside

We absolutely loved staying here. The property is immaculate. The hosts are friendly yet give you privacy. We had a herd of cattle, deer and wild turkeys to entertain us. We will definitely return. Thanks Aron!

Silence is Golden

A pleasant time away from the busy world. Use your five senses to explore the Flint Hills of Kansas. Nature is a gift that we sometimes forget about in our high tech world. Energy can be found in relaxation.

Two Months…………Two Visits

After 10 years and probably 30+ properties……. This is by far the nicest place I’ve visited. Enjoyed my first visit here so much two months ago, I brought my mother here for a get away weekend and a much deserved break. Awesome place to relax. Cottonwood Falls had lots of fun shops for her and the courthouse is amazing. Aron and Janice are wonderful hosts and the property is absolutely immaculate and new.

Joel and his Mom were absolutely amazing guest. Very friendly, polite, outgoing and clean. People that you would like to host and see again. We enjoyed their company and one evening we had a pleasure to talk next to a glass of wine and enjoy some great guitar tunes provided by Joel.

Everything we thought it would be

Let me start out by saying Aron is a wonderful host. He was kind, informative and saw to any needs we had. The bunkhouse is decorated beautifully. The bed was very comfortable. The bunkhouse is perfect for two. The views were magnificent from the early sunrise to the evening sunset. So peaceful, so relaxing. I think the thing that topped it all off were the two sweetest farm dogs I’ve ever met. Thank you so much for a much needed getaway.

beautiful!!!

beautiful place to stay, views are beautiful , sun sets are amazing property is well maintained, our room was nicely decorated felt warm and cozy , the wife and i enjoyed eating our breakfast out on front porch watching the cows graze in the pasture and watching other wild life play in the morning and in the evening we enjoyed grilling out and watching the sunset after long days of exploring Kansas. we will defiantly stay here again and of course Aron and Janice are amazing host too wish we had more time to get to know them better

Thank you for Jeremy and his wife for choosing us. What a nice couple……….Respected our house rules and left the Bunkhouse clean and organized. It is always pleasant to have people like them around , we highly recommend them to other host.
