We had a wonderful stay with our daughter’s family. A perfect little vacation before they headed home to Idaho. Lots of room to spread out. We had everything we needed. Donner is a great place to vacation.

We had a large group (10 of us), and the house was comfortable, quiet, and convenient. The host was responsive and helpful, and quickly sorted out the one timing issue we had at check-in. We'd stay there again.

Nice place and big enough for my four kids and their mates plus grandkid. I liked the three floors with rooms on each of them so everyone could spread out and have their own space. Open concept kitching, dining and family room was nice for all to congregate.

Everything was great. Well equipped. Plenty of paper towels and toilet paper which is much appreciated. Great location for snow park for the grand kids. Our second visit and we will be back!

The proximity to the cross-country ski trails is incredible. The house was lovely, well-kept, and good for our whole family.

Great Gettaway Cabin

Comfortable, convenient and homey, this cabin was the perfect place for our family to spend some away time together. The place was spotless and the location was well located to lots of outdoor activities.

Great for families

Spacious cabin, great for families! Upstairs room was a bit cold while floor rooms were sweltering.. still a great stay overall! Great location and very comfortable cabin, would stay again!

Great Location, cozy place and responsive host

We had a wonderful time staying at Joanne's place in Tahoe Donner with two families (each with young children). The home was very nice and cozy, and the host was very responsive with keeping us informed about amenities and access. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place

We loved staying at this wonderful cabin. Clean, good sized, and close to lots of stuff. The property owner was very responsive and it was a positive experience all the way around.

I definitely recommend staying!! The house was perfect for the 8 of us with plenty of extra space! This would be the perfect home for a multi-family getaway!

There was no host. We arrived at check in time, 4 p.m. and the cleaners were still at work for a half hour, making check-in time awkward. But we LOVED the cabin, but would like a little more flexibility for the check-in and check-out hours. It is a beautiful place and once a year take the children for fun and snow as a Christmas present. Even though we were rained out one day and jig saw puzzles, card games, and board games, it was delightful. Please keep me on your list.

Thank you for your review. Sorry you had to wait for the cleaners to finish. There were guest that checked out on the same day. If they didn't follow the instructions and put a load in the washer plus were excessive with their mess that will make it difficult for the housecleaners to get done on time. I allow early check-in and late check-out as long as it isn't a back to back check-in/check-out.

Perfect for a family & friends golf trip

The property are perfect for our group. Plenty of beds. Just as described. Very close to North Tahoe golf courses. Will definitely stay here again.
