Full Log House Near Golf Course & UTV/Snowmobile Trails

Inside is highlighted by massive log beams, a cathedral ceiling. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and a custom built log breakfast bar. Also on the main floor is a separate dining room and a bathroom with walk in shower and two sinks. A two story spiral staircase seamlessly connects this level with a spacious loft affording a King size bed and a sitting area. Traveling down the stairs you will end in a finished walk out basement with two bedrooms with one having a sliding glass door to the patio and the other 8 feet of windows overlooking a wooded area. Both have new (7/2021) king size beds. The second bathroom with a walk in shower rounds out the lower level.
Four season rental with satellite TV, WiFi, Room for up to 6 (more for an extra fee). The home sits on 3 acres of land close to snowmobile and ATV trails, right next to Tahoe Lynx Golf Course, and 2 miles from town of Mercer and only 30-40 minutes from downhill skiing in the UP of Michigan.

What a great stay up in God's country. Our host John was very responsive and the house was perfect! House was spotless and the beds were comfortable. Which after a full day of snowmobiling, was really nice. What a cool log cabin, highly recommend!

We snowmobiled for 4 days and had the best time! House is located close to town and near trails! Super clean and beautiful home! We have stayed several times.

This is the most beautiful, well-built, log home in which you’ve never stayed. AND the setting is perfectly suited for tranquility. If you want a beautiful and peaceful escape, this is your nirvana. Photos can not do this place justice

We spent our honey-moon with friends at this cabin getaway!

We trailered our snowmobiles up for our Honeymoon getaway, and we invited some friends! There was plenty of room for parking the trailers, plus backing them out, and the snowmobile trail was just down the road! Cute and clean cabin with a perfect location in Mercer to local activities and dining. thanks for a great stay!

Great Stay

Great location, just short drive off of HWY 51 - tucked into the woods which was quiet and private. Went up to snowmobile unfortunately no snow so I can't comment on the access to the trails. The house was just what we needed.

Pleasant Log Cabin Experience

I have some mobility issues, which made using the spiral staircase to lower or upstairs bedrooms pretty impossible. Fortunately the sloping hill went to the sliding door into one of the lower bedrooms. It worked. Beautiful wood interior on the main kitchen, living room and dining floor.

Loved staying here! Super close to downtown Mercer. I stayed up in the loft bed while my family stayed in the bedroom. We found a happy medium for the house temp, but it is colder downstairs and a little hotter upstairs obviously. Overall no complaints! John was super easy to talk to and other local family members live nearby that I got to meet while out on a neighborhood walk. Very peaceful and get location, super clean! Only downfall is no washer/dryer but the laundry mat in downtown Mercer is super close so as lo my as you plan not washing anything or running there. I was able to run back and forth between washer/dryer loads very easily.Thank you for everything!

2nd year in a row, fantastic trip, wonderful home!!

We once again had a fantastic time in Mercer ! This wonderful home is perfect for a family vacation! Great location, great amenities! Kitchen is fully loaded and having a large grill was great for family dinners! We even got a chance to play a round at the golf coarse this year and it was a great addition to our trip! Communication is fantastic! See you next year!!

Secluded Long Weekend Getaway

Fantastic secluded cabin near 2 small private lakes that was perfect for a long weekend getaway Up North! Secluded enough with very few houses nearby, yet close to the small town of Mercer for all the essentials. Lots of fishing, boating, exploring to do, however, would have been completely happy to never leave the cabin. Owners take a lot of pride in their place and are better than any 5 star hotel concierge that I have ever used. Will repeat here yearly!

Enjoyed our visit, beautiful log home, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, close enough to town for groceries, but very private down the street from the golf course. Owner/manager very responsive to any questions or issues.

A world of your own

The property was great. This would be a good place to stay any time of the year. Very quiet and private. We stayed here over the New Year weekend. It was beauitful. I can amagine how it looks when the trees are all filled in.

Great place and space for our family holiday

Clean, comfortable, and easy! Sometimes rentals feel like more work than being at home - but it was easy to stay here! The cabin is beautiful. We enjoyed our time. The snow made it all so quiet and peaceful. For next time, l'll bring a pillow that works better for me - a little too thick- though the beds are very comfortable. With the addition of a cutting board, a knife sharpener, and a coat rack, there would be nothing to fix!! Thanks, John, for a great stay!

Anniversary Get Away

We came to the Mercer area to ride the ATV trails. This location is close to the trails as well as town. The house is beautiful with plenty of room. It had everything you needed and more. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings and around the campfire at night. John was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions. We will definitely stay here again!
