Home is a hidden gem in the blue ridge mountains. The rental is a renovated basement apartment (aka mother in law suite). The apartment is accessed by a private walkway leading to a large private deck. Open the door to the cozy comforts of a 1 bedroom (open floor plan) with private bath, kitchenette w/mini fridge and laundry room. Living area includes a large gas fireplace and a beautiful view down Davy mountain. Fur babies are welcome 🙂 and only 10 minutes away from beautiful lake Chatuge!

Very Clean / Difficult Driveway

Very clean and comfortable. Driveway was very steep and hard to get up, and some of the doors were squeaky, but nice otherwise

Home away from Home

Owners were very nice and courteous to us, would recommend this cute little place to others. Our puppies were safe when we would go out for the day.

Very nice

I would stay here again. The host was very friendly and communication was great. She didn't mind my 2 smaller dogs. I kept them in a kennel when I was gone or when I was sleeping. Parking was convenient right by my entrance.

Private and Secluded

The property was well appointed, clean and the check in was easy. The price was great and well below market. I would suggest to replace the trundle bed with a queen size bed. I will stay again. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Bad choice

I guess, - you get what you pay for! Wish I can post pics on here. I was not able to even check into this property. It was very dirty, corners and ceilings with spider webs and dead spiders in it. Shower with black mildew. Wall power outlets without cover. Missing window glass. Toaster/Owen never been cleaned, old food crust all over it. Very strong dog smell. This house really needs cleaning and fixing up. Shouldn't be on a VRBO listing.

What a glorious view to enjoys dip in the hot tub!

Transactions made simple. They provide everything you need including comfortable beds. Decor was delightful. But it was all the fun games and toys included that made it feel like a dream home. Thank you so much!

Mountain get away

Beautiful little apartment. Clean, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. Dog friendly, which was a deal breaker for us. Owner was easy to work with and VERY accommodating.

Strong smell of dogs in apartment. Day bed with pull out twin. Plastic covers on mattresses. For rate charged very poor value.

In the woods

This Place is down a gravel road and secluded. Although this was described as a basement apartment; The house is built on a hillside so this rental has several full size windows and does not have that damp feel that basements often do. It was very clean. The flooring and bathroom, look brand new. Cute electric "fireplace" heater kept the chill away at night.

For budget travelers, this place is great!

OK, so my wife and I are campers and budget travelers. We were attending a concert at the Georgia Mountain fairground in Hiawassee, a 15 minute trip from this property. The property is remote and down a gravel driveway. I like remote, yet close enough to enjoy other local events. We arrived to a clean, clean, clean place. Immaculate. The rental is located in a basement with totally private entrance and large deck. Inside was the living/kitchen areas, bath with shower, and a standard size bed with another pullout under it. Ref., micro.,sink, and coffee maker. There is even a full laundry room. It was very quiet, and we felt 100% safe. The only issue we had was the intermittent internet access. But, we weren't there to look at computers or phones. We had other plans, so that didn't really bother us at all. So, all-in-all, it was a good experience and we would return again. If you are used to staying in expensive hotels and other expensive rentals, this may not be the place for you. If you are just looking for a nice, clean, quiet place to sleep, on a budget, this is the place.
