Beaver's Den is an apartment nestled in the Beautiful Smokey Mountains; and only 2 miles to Cherokee Harrahs Casino, in Murphy, NC. We are only 23 miles from Field of the Woods. And we have 2 great options for whitewater rafting, and zip lining, with Ocoee River in one direction and the Nantahala River in the opposite direction. There are lots of beautiful waterfalls and great walking trails all around with abundant natural wildlife. Perhaps you would enjoy a stroll through Joyce Keller Memorial Forest and seeing the majestic 4.5 century old timbers towering hundreds of feet into the air. Or you can just relax and enjoy your privacy within the warm wood walls of this, open living space. With full kitchen that is equipped with your necessities. 1 full bath with shower and 1 queen bed in the bedroom. There is plenty of closet space and drawers for your clothes. On the nightstands are lamps with USB ports for charging your devices. The Living room is equipped with a sofa to snuggle on while enjoying the electric fireplace or the 42" TV. Outside on the deck is a small table and chairs, if you wish to have your morning coffee outside in the crisp mountain air.

The property is next door to a KOA campground but is not associated with the KOA campground. Hello, I manage the technical part of this listing for my sister. She puts her heart into taking care of other people and I think hosting is something she really enjoys doing. I know that she is great at it because I have read all of her previous reviews. And I can tell that they are sincere because that’s her natural personality. She is warm and caring, and will do whatever she can to make sure that her guests are happy. 4 stars? I don’t know why people book a place that tells them everything they do and do not have, and yet they rate them by what they would like to have. This is the first person who has rated less than 5 stars. And she never complained about anything. My sister is hurt and disappointed 😔 If there was something that she could do better, we want to know what it is,. So, we can make all her guests happy. Honestly, I would prefer the people who want the Ritz or Embassy Suites to stay somewhere else. The property provides a clean comfortable and economical place for travelers/ vacationers to stay. If you’re looking for uptown/fancy, please don’t book with us. We are down to earth clean country folks, and we like it that way. Everything offered is listed, if you want more, pass us by.
