Newly Completed Renovation of an old Cody Classic! The G.F. Wiard House is ready to welcome you to Cody! George Frederick Wiard built this home in 1907. It has recently undergone an extensive renovation resulting in a "like new" home with all of the modern amenities plus charm. Only two blocks to the main Cody strip, this home can comfortable sleep 9. It boasts central air conditioning, new kitchen and new bathrooms. Enjoy evening walks to dinner and shopping. This is the perfect place for you to hang your hat after a long day of sightseeing. Relax on the front porch while planning for your next day. Come be one of the firsts to enjoy this beautiful, state of the art home in our special town of Cody, WY!

Also available for rent is the G.F. Wiard Cottage consisting of 1 bedroom/1bath. Combine the two and you can accommodate larger traveling groups.

Great place

We really enjoyed staying at this property. This was one of the cleanest properties we've ever stayed at. The back yard needs some attention, but overall I would stay here again.

Wedding in Cody

Home was very clean and exactly as pictured. The amenities provided the comfort of home. 5 of us stayed in the home and it was roomy and we were not on top of each other. Plenty of coat hangers to hang wedding attire. The location is absolutely wonderful. Close and convenient to all the restaurants and shops. Great area for walking a dog too.

Exactly as advertised, would recommend black-out curtains downstairs. Master bath door isn't very private.

Beautifully restored historic home

Beautifully restored historic home in downtown Cody. Only blocks from main street, gift shops restaurants, theatres, The Irma Hotel, etc. Even the Buffalo Bill Center of the West is within walking distance. We especially enjoyed relaxing at the end of the day on the front porch while watching the wildlife wander the neighborhood.

Our stay was perfect!

House was clean. Safe location. Loved the visits from the neighborhood deer that came in the yard twice during our stay. House/Yard was great for our two Newfoundland dogs; although we did cover the 2 white chairs in the living room with sheets as soon as we got there just in case.

Great house for a visit to Yellowstone

This house had everything we were looking for. Kitchen was roomy and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Yard was perfect for our furry friends. Location was great, my husband walked to breakfast at Granny's, just 3 short blocks away. (He likes to get up early, before the rest of us, and go out for breakfast.). We would definitely stay there again.
